WWE Royal Rumble Results (1/26) - Houston, TX

The 2020 WWE Royal Rumble Kickoff pre-show opens live from Minute Maid Park in Houston, Texas as Jonathan Coachman welcomes us.

We see fans finding their seats inside the stadium. Coach is joined by Charly Caruso, David Otunga and Christian. The panel hypes tonight’s big event. The panel runs down tonight’s card. Coach sends us to Renee Young, Sam Roberts and WWE Hall of Famer Booker T on the ramp. Booker gets some chants from his hometown crowd. They also hype up tonight’s big Royal Rumble Matches. Renee sends us to the annual Royal Rumble “By The Numbers” video. We go back to Renee, Sam and Booker to discuss the Rumbles.

We go back to the panel and Natalya has joined them. She says she’s already planning her victory later tonight. Natalya talks about how she’d like to face SmackDown Women’s Champion Bayley at WrestleMania 36 and if she did, she guarantees a victory. Natalya mentions how Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross are sneaky and work well together, and could have a good chance tonight. We go back to Coach and he leads us to a promo for WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion Asuka vs. RAW Women’s Champion Becky Lynch.

The panel talks more about that match and tonight’s Rumble matches. Coach sends us to a video package for the Strap Match between Daniel Bryan and WWE Universal Champion “The Fiend” Bray Wyatt. We get more comments from Renee, Booker and Roberts. We also see Lacey Evans’ new Foster Farms corn dogs commercial. Coach welcomes us back to the panel for a discussion on tonight’s match between Evans and Bayley. Coach shows us how Bayley attacked Evans on SmackDown and they brawled into the back. Christian mentioned how he’s a big fan of Evans. Kayla Braxton stops Bayley backstage for comments now. An angry Bayley runs down Evans with trash talk, then walks off.

Sheamus vs. Shorty G

We go to ringside as Michael Cole and Corey Graves welcome us. Sheamus is out for tonight’s first match, which is his TV in-ring return. Shorty G is out next.

Sheamus overpowers G a few times to start. They lock up and G works on the arm. Sheamus rocks him and turns it around. Sheamus beats G down and they tangle some more. G counters on the mat and comes back up but Sheamus drops him with a shoulder. Sheamus stands tall for some cheers. Sheamus clubs G around but G puts him into the ropes. Sheamus knocks him back. Sheamus rocks G in the corner. They run the ropes and G crossbodies Sheamus over the top rope to the floor. They both hit the floor but G strikes first on their feet. Sheamus beats G up and brings it back in.

G ends up rolling Sheamus for a 2 count. G with a takedown but Sheamus resists, kicking G into the turnbuckles. Sheamus drives G into the ring post now, shoulder-first. Sheamus with a shoulderbreaker now. G looks to be bleeding from his ear. Sheamus stomps away on G’s hand as the referee warns him. Sheamus bends G’s fingers around the middle rope now as the referee warns him again.

G fights back with strikes but Sheamus beats him down again. Sheamus grounds G and works on the arm some more. We come back from a break and Sheamus continues to dominate G while he’s down, focusing on the arm and the fingers. G looks to make a comeback but Sheamus takes him to the apron and unloads with the forearms to the chest as fans count along and cheer. Sheamus sends G to the floor. Sheamus delivers the Beats of the Bodhrán again on the floor, and yells out to the crowd, asking if they’re entertained.

Sheamus brings it back into the ring and talks trash while beating G around. G fights back with aggressive offense now. G with a big kick to the face. G keeps control and dropkicks the knee out. G with more offense now, taking it to the corner. G with the big kicks to the face and the shoulder. G takes Sheamus down and stomps away on the hurt knee of The Celtic Warrior. G takes Sheamus back down with another running kick. G goes to the top for a moonsault but Sheamus catches him in mid-air. G counters that and hits a big DDT. G goes back to the top and nails the moonsault for a close 2 count.

More back and forth between the two. G catches Sheamus with a big German suplex and holds it for a close 2 count. G continues focusing on the hurt knee and leg. Sheamus rocks him from the apron over the top rope. Sheamus uses the ropes again and G goes down. Sheamus goes to the top and leaps but G catches him, turning it into an ankle lock in the middle of the ring. Sheamus turns over and kicks away at G to break the hold. G charges but Sheamus goes for a Brogue Kick and misses. G rolls Sheamus into the ankle lock again. They tangle some more and G gets a close crucifix pin. Sheamus ends up leveling G with a big Brogue Kick for the pin to win.

Winner: Sheamus

After the match, Sheamus stands tall as his music hits. We go to replays. Sheamus stands tall and plays to the crowd as G is checked on.

– We go back to the panel as they begin the second hour of the Kickoff pre-show. They go over tonight’s Rumble card once again. Coach sends us back to ringside

WWE United States Title Match: Humberto Carrillo vs. Andrade

We go back to ringside as Tom Phillips welcomes us. He’s joined by WWE Hall of Famer Jerry Lawler. Out first comes Humberto Carrillo as Mike Rome does the introductions. WWE United States Champion Andrade is out next with Zelina Vega.

The bell rings and Andrade shows some disrespect but Carrillo goes right to work. They aggressively go at it and break, showing each other up. Andrade smiles at Carrillo. Andrade misses an elbow in the corner and hits the top turnbuckle. Carrillo keeps control and sends Andrade to the floor with an arm drag. Carrillo slides out but Andrade ducks. Andrade dodges a kick and takes out Carrillo’s leg on the apron. Carrillo kicks Andrade in the face and then kicks him in the face again, sending him back. Carrillo goes to the top but Andrade knocks him off, sending him face-first into the barrier as Vega cheers him on.

Andrade works Carrillo over on the outside, chopping away. More back and forth after the break. Andrade with a cross armbreaker over the ropes as he brings it back in, keeping Carrillo grounded. Carrillo looks to mount a comeback but Andrade shuts him down. Andrade with chops against the ropes. Carrillo comes back with a kick to the mouth. Andrade counters a move and puts Carrillo back down. Andrade keeps Carrillo grounded now with a submission. Andrade with some more disrespect as Carrillo counters. Carrillo with a big crossbody and some kicks. Vega looks concerned now. Carrillo rolls into a moonsault but Andrade gets his knees up.

Andrade kicks away in the corner as Vega chants “knees!” for Andrade. Andrade goes to the opposite corner but Carrillo fights back. Carrillo ends up hitting a big moonsault and they both go down face-first on the outside as the referee checks on them. Carrillo brings it back in at the 6 count. Carrillo launches himself in but Andrade catches him for a 2 count. Andrade shuts Carrillo down again and hits the Three Amigos suplexes. Carrillo counters a suplex and drops Andrade with one of his own. Carrillo misses another moonsault and a kick. Andrade sends Carrillo back into the turnbuckles as Vega chants “knees!” again. Andrade runs and nails the double knees to the face. Carrillo with a 2 count.

Carrillo blocks the Hammerlock DDT and rolls Andrade for a 2 count. They trade big strikes in the middle of the ring now. Andrade with a big chop. Carrillo with chops of his own. Andrade runs into a superkick but still kicks out at 2 as a worried Vega looks on. Carrillo drops Andrade again for another pin attempt. They trade shots from their knees as they fight back to their feet now. Andrade unloads with elbows to the face. Carrillo misses a kick. More counters and misses between the two now. Carrillo drops Andrade with a back elbow. Carrillo goes to the top but Andrade runs up with a kick to the face. Andrade brings Carrillo to the second rope and they trade shots to the face. Carrillo goes to the top and brings Andrade with him. Carrillo with a huge hurricanrana from the top. Carrillo crawls across the ring for another very close 2 count. Vega is relieved and Carrillo can’t believe it.

hey tangle some more as Vega encourages Andrade. Carrillo and Andrade trade more quick moves and pin attempts between them. Andrade catches Carrillo and rolls him up for the pin to retain.

Winner: Andrade

After the match, Andrade stands tall with the title as Vega joins him. The music hits as we go to replays. Carrillo sits down in the corner and recovers as Andrade makes his exit with the title in the air.

– We go back to Sam, Renee and Booker on the ramp. R-Truth shows up and he’s confused about coming out for the Royal Rumble Match, which obviously hasn’t started. Truth also isn’t sure if he’s declared himself or undeclared himself, and mentions what recently happened with WWE Champion Brock Lesnar. Coach sends us to the annual “By The Numbers” video for the Rumble. Sarah Schreiber is backstage with Charlotte Flair now. Flair is confident about tonight’s Rumble Match and says she doesn’t see other competitors, she sees numbers, and when they look at her they will see The Queen. Flair walks off and we go back to the panel. The panel talks more about tonight’s big event and Coach goes over the Rumble rules, confirming that there will be 90 second intervals. We go back to Renee, Booker and Sam as the stadium begins to fill up. Renee shows us the unique ramp and Booker talks about what it’s like to enter the Rumble Match.

Renee and company were talking about the show when R-Truth attempted to make his way to the ring. He asked them if they were in the Rumble. He said Lesnar took him to Sioux Falls City and Paul Heyman talked the entire time. It was the usual silly Truth stuff. Young sent it back to the panel, asking them to “save us.” That was funny.

They aired the By the Numbers video again.

Charlotte Flair was interviewed backstage. She doesn’t see 29 competitors, just numbers and when they look at her, they will see the Queen.

They recapped Worlds Collide.

Backstage, Kofi Kingston was interviewed by Kayla Braxton. He said a win is a one way ticket to Wrestlemania. He said everything before tonight doesn’t matter. He doesn’t know what number he is entering at and he doesn’t know. That’s part of the unpredictability of the Rumble match. He said you are trying to get to the main event of Wrestlemania and as hard as this is, its the easiest way to make it happen. He and Big E are going to work as a team. If they are the last two men, ring the bell. They would have already been the winners. There’s a lot of excitement.

WWE Royal Rumble Opener:

The 2020 WWE Royal Rumble pay-per-view opens up with a video package, narrated by WWE Hall of Famer “Stone Cold” Steve Austin, like only he can. The video hypes tonight’s matches and features comments from other Superstars involved tonight. The WWE Network cuts out for the third time since the Kickoff began, but we come back to Austin wrapping up his intro.

– We’re live from Minute Maid Park in Houston, Texas as Michael Cole welcomes us to the 33rd WWE Royal Rumble pay-per-view, presented by WWE SuperCard. Cole says over 40,000 fans will pack the stadium tonight.

Falls Count Anywhere Match: Roman Reigns vs. King Baron Corbin

We go right to the ring and out first comes Roman Reigns for tonight’s opener. Cole is joined at ringside for Corey Graves. Cole says this is his favorite WWE event. Cole introduces the Spanish and German announce teams at ringside. King Baron Corbin is out next as Greg Hamilton does the introductions. Corbin is carried to the ring on the caravan by his servants. The announcers show us recent happenings between Reigns and Corbin.

Corbin stalls going in but Reigns comes out after him, going for Corbin’s security first. Corbin had this planned apparently, as he goes to work on Reigns on the outside. Reigns goes into the steel ring steps. Corbin brings it in the ring but Reigns turns it around. Reigns mounts Corbin in the corner with big shots as fans count along. Corbin slides free and goes to the floor but Reigns follows. Corbin rocks Reigns at the ropes and he doesn’t make it to the floor. Reigns comes out now as Corbin tries to go over the barrier. Reigns stops him but Corbin headbutts him. Reigns rocks Corbin with a big right hand and drops him on the floor.

Reigns brings it back in the ring and keeps control. Reigns slams Corbin back for another pin attempt. More back and forth now. Corbin avoids a Superman Punch and catches Reigns with Deep Six for a close 2 count. Corbin takes Reigns out and slams him into the barrier. Corbin brings half of the steel steps over and drives them into Reigns’ face. Reigns goes down and Corbin poses for the fans as they boo him. Corbin clears the Spanish announce table now.

Reigns fights Corbin off and sends him head-first into the announce table. They fight through the crowd now with Reigns beating Corbin around. Reigns knocks Corbin down a row of chairs as fans go wild. Reigns continues working Corbin around and headbutts him. Reigns rocks Corbin back to the ringside area now. Corbin grabs the ring bell and decks Reigns with it. Corbin brings Reigns over and chokeslams him on top of the German announce table. The table buckles but doesn’t break. Monitors fall to the floor. Corbin covers Reigns over behind the table but Reigns kicks out at 2. Corbin tosses a chair and shows some frustration now. Corbin brings Reigns over in front of the tables but Reigns fights back. Corbin blocks a Superman Punch and chokeslams Reigns through the Spanish announce table, which breaks. Corbin covers but Reigns kicks out at 2. Corbin is really frustrated now.

Corbin drags Reigns by his vest at ringside. Corbin knocks him into the crowd and punches him around. Corbin knocks him over to an equipment area and bounces him off some crates. Reigns comes back with a desperation Samoan Drop through a table! Reigns and Corbin slowly get up, and Reigns hits another Samoan Drop through another table in that equipment area! Reigns covers for a near fall.

Reigns stands over Corbin and punches him. Corbin quickly powers Reigns into a wall and starts to crawl away. Reigns follows, and all of a sudden Robert Roode and Dolph Ziggler attack Reigns. They double-team Reigns until The Usos come out to make the save. Ziggler throws Jimmy Uso over some crates. Jey Uso fights back at Roode, so Ziggler superkicks him. Roode and Ziggler set up a metal barricade bridge on two crates. Roode and Ziggler pull Jey over to the contraption, but Jimmy comes out of nowhere with a cross-body block off a ledge on them! Corbin quickly chokeslams Jimmy on the barricade! Reigns then comes up and hits Corbin with a Superman Punch!

Reigns hits a second Superman Punch to send Corbin staggering back in the crowd. Reigns continues to beat Corbin around the field, into an area with portable bathrooms. Reigns opens one of the portable bathrooms and sends Corbin into it. Reigns closes the door and drags the Porta Potty over. Reigns tips the bathroom over with Corbin inside as fans cheer him on and chant “holy s–t!” now. Corbin falls out of the door but he doesn’t look like he’s covered in blue or anything else. Reigns beats Corbin back through the crowd and he’s hyped up, controlling the fight. Corbin falls around and pulls part of the baseball dugout covering off. Reigns continues to pound on him. Corbin catches Reigns with a steel chair shot and another. Corbin sends Reigns on top of the dugout now. Fans boo as Corbin stands tall on the dugout and delivers another chair shot. The boos continue for Corbin as he delivers another chair shot, then tosses the chair away. Corbin goes for End of Days on the dugout but Reigns rocks him, then delivers another Superman Punch to stun Corbin. Reigns charges and hits a big Spear on top of the dugout for the pin to win.

Winner: Roman Reigns

After the match, Reigns slowly gets back to his feet as the music starts up. Reigns plays to the crowd as they cheer him on. We go to replays. Reigns poses with the fans to end the segment.

Backstage:

Kevin Owens and Samoa Joe are backstage warming up. Owens is looking forward to eliminating Seth Rollins tonight, then winning. This strikes a nerve in Samoa Joe. Like their segment on Monday’s RAW, they seems willing to work together but tonight is every man for himself.

Backstage:

Kayla Braxton is backstage with Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville. Deville says she cares about her partner so much that if the Women’s Rumble comes down to the two of them, she won’t eliminate Rose, she will eliminate herself. Deville walks off.

– We go back to Michael Cole as he pays tribute to NBA Legend Kobe Bryant on behalf of the entire company. Bryant, his 13 year old daughter Gianna, and 7 other people passed away today after Bryant’s helicopter crashed in California. He was 41. They air a graphic in memory of the five-time NBA Champion.

30-Woman Royal Rumble Match

Back from a break and we go to ringside with Tom Phillips, Corey Graves and WWE Hall of Famer Jerry Lawler. It’s time for the 30-Woman Royal Rumble Match. Mike Rome goes over the rules. Out first comes Alexa Bliss at #1. Out next comes NXT’s Bianca Belair.

The bell rings, and Bliss charges Belair. Belair quickly scoops Bliss up to try to slam her over the top rope. Bliss gets out, so Belair hits a handspring shoulder block. Belair puts Bliss on the top rope, but Bliss punches her back. Bliss ducks a right hand and goes for a head-scissor takeover, but Belair holds on to her. Belair hits a backbreaker and a handspring standing moonsault. The #3 spot goes to Molly Holly.

Molly is her “Mighty” gimmick tonight and almost eliminates Belair. Molly with a double clothesline. Holly goes to the top and nails a double crossbody for a pop. Molly stands tall and poses for a pop. Fans chant “you still got it!” now. Nikki Cross is out next at #4 as Bliss smiles. Cross runs to the ring and unloads on Belair and Holly. Belair and Holly end up getting the best of Cross and Bliss. Belair with a KOD to Cross, on top of Bliss. Belair and Holly work to dump Bliss and Cross now. Cross dropkicks Holly. Bliss with a Destroyer to Belair. All four end up down now. The #5 spot goes to Lana as fans boo her entrance.

Lana has a microphone as she makes her way to the ring. She calls herself the greatest WWE Superstar in the world. It’s a new year and new her. She’s better than all the pathetic losers in Houston. She’ll win the Royal Rumble for her hot, hot husband, her Bobby Lashley. Lana gets in the ring and starts attacking everyone. Lana puts Molly over the top rope, but Molly hangs on.

#6: Mercedes Martinez. Martinez boots Molly and gives Cross a spinebuster. Martinez attacks Bliss and slams Belair. Lana attacks her from behind, but Martinez quickly comes back with a butterfly suplex. Martinez puts Lana on the apron, but Lana fights her back. Lana is down on the apron, and Martinez tries to kick her off.

Lana is eliminated

The next person out is Liv Morgan at #7. Liv runs to the ring and eliminates Lana immediately. Fans pop. Lana throws a fit at ringside, yelling at the referee about how she won’t leave. Liv laughs. Liv turns around to Mercedes. Mercedes sends her to the apron but Liv fights her off. Lana eliminates Liv and fans boo. Liv and Lana brawl at ringside now. Referees finally break them up.

Liv Morgan is eliminated

#8 is Mandy Rose. Mandy shoulder blocks Cross down before kicking her in the face. Mandy slaps Cross before hitting a front suplex onto the apron. Cross fights Mandy back and dropkicks her back. Cross gets in the ring and takes her jacket off before attacking Mandy.

#9 is Candice LeRae. LeRae dropkicks Martinez before booting Cross and kneeing her. LeRae hits a Lionsault on Cross. Belair sends Molly over the top rope and eliminates her!

Mighty Molly is eliminated

Bliss sends Mandy over the top rope, but she lands on the apron. Mandy rolls off to the floor, seemingly being eliminated… but she lands on Otis! Mandy stands on his stomach and gets in the ring. Her feet never touched the floor!

#10 is Sonya Deville. Deville punches everyone down and hits a sliding knee on Cross. Deville sends Cross to the apron, but can’t eliminate her. Mandy and Deville team up to try to eliminate LeRae. LeRae holds onto the ropes to avoid being eliminated. Deville and Martinez get into a big brawl in the middle of the ring, exchanging stiff punches. Martinez takes her down and goes for a suplex, but Deville gets out. Deville kicks Martinez, and Mandy joins in. They hit a chop block/knee to the face combo before eliminating her.

Mercedes Martinez is eliminated.

#11 is Kairi Sane. Sane fends off Bliss and Cross with the umbrella before spearing them. Sane hits a head-scissor takeover before hitting a blockbuster on Mandy. Sane counters a suplex from Belair into a suplex of her own. Sane then flattens LeRae with an Alabama Slam.

#12 is Mia Yim. Sane hits an InSane Elbow on LeRae. Yim gets in the ring and hits Sane with a neckbreaker. Yim connects with Protect Ya Neck on Cross. The commentators incorrectly calls it Eat Defeat. Belair military presses Bliss, but Cross pulls her down. Cross jumps on Belair’s back, so Belair dumps her over the top rope. Cross lands on the apron. Bliss attacks Belair from behind, but Belair fights back. Belair picks Bliss up and uses her to hit Cross to eliminate her.

Nikki Cross has been eliminated.

Belair puts Bliss on the apron, but Bliss pulls the hair to avoid elimination. Mandy is put on the apron, and Deville accidentally hits her. Mandy falls into Otis’ arms. Belair then sends Deville over the top rope into Mandy and Otis, eliminating them both.

Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville have been eliminated.

#13 is Dana Brooke. Brooke runs over everyone, hitting Yim with an enzuigiri and clotheslining LeRae. Yim quickly beats Brooke down and tries to eliminate her. Sane attacks Yim from behind. Belair then press slams LeRae out of the ring!

Candice LeRae has been eliminated.

That’s Belair’s fifth elimination, tying the record for most eliminations in the Women’s Royal Rumble. Bliss then knocks Sane off the top rope to the floor.

Kairi Sane has been eliminated.

#14 is Tamina. Tamina superkicks Brooke down before uppercutting Yim. Tamina punches Bliss down. Belair sidesteps a superkicks from Tamina and stands off from her. Belair talks trash, and they get into a brawl. Tamina knocks her back, but Belair quickly gives her a back body drop over the top rope to eliminate her!

Tamina has been eliminated.

Bianca Belair now holds the record for most eliminations in the Women’s Royal Rumble.

#15 is Dakota Kai. Kai attacks Dana Brooke and big boots her in the corner. Bliss eliminates Mia Yim.

Mia Yim has been eliminated.

Brooke tries to fight Kai off. Belair attacks Bliss in the corner. Bliss and Belair have been in this match from the beginning.

#16 is Chelsea Green. Robert Stone accompanied Green to the stage. Green gets in the ring and eliminates Kai. Bliss then eliminates Green as she was gloating.

Dakota Kai has been eliminated. Chelsea Green has been eliminated.

Dana Brooke attacks Bliss from behind. Belair all of a sudden comes up and eliminates Brooke for her seventh elimination.

Dana Brooke has been eliminated.

Bliss and Belair brawl in the ring. Bliss goes for Twisted Bliss, but Belair gets the knees up. Belair tries to powerbomb Bliss over the top rope, but Bliss pulls her to the apron. They fight on the apron before Bliss pulls the long hair. Belair quickly pulls her into the ring post to eliminate her. Belair stands alone in the ring!

Alexa Bliss has been eliminated.

#17 is Charlotte Flair. Belair looks physically exhausted. Belair avoids an avalanche, but Flair quickly hits a backbreaker. Flair chops her around the ring before hitting an exploder. Flair kips up and lets out a “WOO.” Belair quickly comes back and takes her down.

#18 is Naomi. Clock is running way too fast for this Royal Rumble match… Naomi gets in the ring and hits a hurricanrana on Belair. Naomi and Flair each miss moves and kip up at the same time. They attack Belair together and hit a double-team suplex. Flair then chops Naomi, ending the partnership. Flair chokes Naomi in the corner with her boot.

#19 is Beth Phoenix. Phoenix attacks Naomi and punches Flair to the corner. Phoenix picks Naomi up and puts her on the apron. Naomi fights her back and hits a springboard cross-body block on Flair and Phoenix. Phoenix goes to Belair and attacks. Belair quickly clubs her down and tries to eliminate her. Phoenix fights her back. Flair stomps Naomi down in the corner.

#20 is Toni Storm. Storm clotheslines Naomi and Flair. Storm forearms Flair to the corner and stomps her. Flair fights her back and chops the chest. Belair kicks Phoenix away from her. Naomi attacks Flair with kicks. Flair puts Naomi in the corner with Storm and avalanches them. Flair then knocks Belair off the top rope to eliminate her! Belair spent over 33 minutes in the match!

Bianca Belair has been eliminated

#21 is Kelly Kelly. Kelly gets in the ring and sizes everyone up. Kelly hits a Thesz Press on Naomi and punches her. Storm attacks Kelly and sends her into the ropes (Kelly lightly hits the ropes). Kelly comes back with a big head-scissor takeover on Storm before giving her a Stink Face. Phoenix sends Flair over the top rope and nearly eliminates her. Flair is holding on to the top rope with her feet dangling above the floor.

No# 22 is Sarah Logan. Logan makes a beeline for Flair and spears her back. Phoenix and Storm put Logan on the apron. Flair big boots Logan off the apron.

Sarah Logan has been eliminated.

Flair is nearly eliminated by Kelly, but Flair fights her off. Flair is bleeding from the nose. Flair then eliminates Kelly Kelly.

Kelly Kelly has been eliminated.

#23 is Natalya. Natalya hits a Discus Clothesline on Flair before clotheslining Naomi. Natalya and Phoenix try to eliminate Flair, but she fights them off. Natalya and Phoenix hit a double-team powerbomb on Flair. They then try to eliminate Naomi.

#24 is Xia Li. Li kicks away at everyone. The back of Phoenix’s head is caked with blood from the looks of it. Li fights Flair off and takes her down. Flair soon takes Li down and puts her on the top rope. Li holds on to the top rope to avoid being eliminated.

#25 is Zelina Vega. Vega ducks a clothesline from Naomi and hits a big DDT. Natalya is nearly eliminated by Storm and Flair. Vega hits a flying hurricanrana on Phoenix. Vega slams Storm headfirst off the mat. Natalya and Phoenix try to eliminate Flair, but she holds on.

#26 is Shotzi Blackheart. Blackheart hits Storm with a head-scissor. Naomi is knocked off the apron, but she lands on the barricade wall! Naomi’s feet never touched the floor! She pulls herself up to the top of the barricade. That was unreal strength. Naomi straddles the top and gets to the commentary tables.

#27 is Carmella. Carmella hits a wild head-scissor takeover on Natalya. Carmella sends Natalya into Phoenix and hits a Bronco Buster. Flair hits Carmella with Natural Selection. Phoenix hits a Glam Slam on Flair. Phoenix’s head is gushing blood. Natalya and Phoenix sends Flair into the ring post shoulder-first, and she falls to the floor. Flair has NOT been eliminated. Naomi is still walking on the commentary tables thinking about what to do.

#28 is Tegan Nox. Nox hits a butt bump on Phoenix before giving Vega a chokeslam. Phoenix hits Nox with a Glam Slam. Storm head-butts Natalya down. The color on Phoenix’s head is incredible.

#29 is Santina Marella. Santina is back, and Phoenix, who was partnered with her (?) years ago, doesn’t look happy. Phoenix looks furious. Santina shows her up a bit and talks some trash. Santina turns around and sees Phoenix’s former tag partner Natalya behind her. Santina puts the Cobra on and uses it to eliminate herself.

Santina Marella has been eliminated.

#30 is Shayna Baszler. Baszler grabs Flair at ringside and sends her headfirst into the ring steps. Baszler floors Natalya with a forearm before hitting Phoenix with one. Baszler eliminates Xia Li easily.

Xia Li has been eliminated.

Baszler then scoops Nox up like she’s nothing and dumps her out of the ring. Baszler then applies the Kirifuda Clutch on Vega to eliminate her.

Tegan Nox has been eliminated. Zelina Vega has been eliminated.

Blackheart tries to eliminate Baszler like she did a few weeks ago on NXT, but Baszler eliminates her.

Shotzi Blackheart has been eliminated.

Naomi uses the top of the commentary table as a bridge to get in the ring. Baszler eliminates Carmella and Storm in short order.

Carmella has been eliminated. Toni Storm has been eliminated.

Naomi attacks Baszler, but Baszler simply throws her over the top rope. Seven eliminations for Baszler!

Naomi has been eliminated.

Phoenix and Natalya hit the Hart Attack on Baszler. Phoenix then stuns Natalya by eliminating her!

Natalya has been eliminated.

Baszler tries to eliminate Phoenix until Flair sneaks up from behind and puts them on the apron. Baszler and Flair square off. The final three are Baszler, Flair, and Phoenix. Phoenix puts Flair on the apron. Baszler then eliminates Phoenix.

Beth Phoenix has been eliminated.

Baszler charges Flair, but Flair holds on. Baszler has Flair on the ropes and dumps her over, but Flair skins the cat. Flair then hits a head-scissor over the top rope for the win!

Winner: Charlotte Flair

Flair poses on the ropes and points at the video screen showing the WrestleMania sign. Pyro goes off.

Charly Caruso pops up out of nowhere to interview Charlotte Flair. She asks for Flair’s plans for WrestleMania. Flair says since day one she has been a diamond cut to last. Whether anyone wanted her to win or lose, tonight she reminded all of them that this is her division. Flair lets out a “WOO.”

Backstage:

Kayla Braxton was talking backstage when King Corbin showed up on the interview set and threw a fit about Roman Reigns. Corbin said he would throw Reigns over the top rope and go on to main event WrestleMania…

SmackDown Women’s Championship
Bayley (c) vs. Lacey Evans

We go to the ring and out first comes SmackDown Women’s Champion Bayley. Cole shows us the other international announce teams in the arena. Lacey Evans is out as we see her daughter and her husband at ringside. We get formal ring introductions from Greg Hamilton.

Evans takes control early on and works Bayley over on the mat. Back and forth now. The referee catches Bayley trying to expose the top turnbuckle. Evans ends up rocking Bayley and launching herself in with an elbow. Bayley sells a knee injury and the referee backs Evans off. Bayley was just suckering in, taking advantage to drop Evans with a punch.

Bayley drops Evans again and nails a big top rope elbow drop for a 2 count. Bayley unloads with strikes now. Bayley keeps Evans grounded now. Evans fights up and out. Evans starts to mount offense but Bayley nails a big clothesline out of the corner for a close 2 count.

Bayley keeps control and drops Evans with an elbow to the face for a 2 count. Bayley mounts Evans with more strikes as the referee warns her. Bayley grounds Evans again, then sends her back to the corner. Bayley charges but Evans moves and Bayley goes down. Evans fights in from the apron and hits a big knee. Evans rolls her for a 2 count. Bayley mocks Evans with a salute. Evans dodges a crossbody and Bayley lands hard. Evans explodes with more offense and plays to the crowd for a big pop.

Bayley counters and drops Evans to the apron. Evans springboards in but it looks like she falls, still taking Bayley down. Bayley rolls to the floor to avoid a pin attempt. Evans launches herself out and falls again it appears. Bayley launches Bayley into the barrier and she goes down right in front of her family. Bayley taunts Evans’ daughter and beats on her right in front. Bayley sends Evans back into the barrier in front of her daughter.

Bayley brings it back in but Evans blocks the Bayley-to-Belly. Evans keeps fighting and nails a neckbreaker. Evans with a standing moonsault now. Evans goes to the top, salutes and goes for the springboard moonsault but Bayley gets her knees up. Bayley goes on and goes right into the pin attempt for the win to retain.

Winner: Bayley

After the match, Bayley goes right to the floor with her title. The music hits as Evans sits up in the ring and looks to get emotional. We get a look at Evans’ family at ringside. Bayley stands tall on the ramp and makes her exit.

Strap Match for the WWE Universal Title
Daniel Bryan vs. “The Fiend” Bray Wyatt (c)

We go back to the ring for tonight’s Strap Match and out first comes Daniel Bryan. The Firefly Fun House music starts up next but the music changes and the lights go down. The crazy entrance of WWE Universal Champion “The Fiend” Bray Wyatt is out next. He’s carrying the head lantern and his custom title belt. We get formal ring introductions from Hamilton as the two stare each other down. Bryan gets a “Yes!” chant going. Wyatt bucks at Bryan and yells. The referee attaches them to each end of the strap and we get the bell.

They go at it and The Fiend pulls Bryan but Bryan rocks him. Bryan takes it to the corner and delivers kicks. Bryan mounts Fiend but Fiend nails a big powerbomb out of the corner. Fiend starts whipping Bryan with the strap now. Bryan is on his knees but Fiend whips him again, then laughs. Fiend stands over Bryan and continues beating on him with the leather strap.

Fiend with a big headbutt to keep Bryan down. Bryan fights back and sends Fiend out, kicking him through the ropes. Bryan charges and dives out but Fiend swats at him, sending him into the barrier. Fiend works Bryan over on the floor now, keeping him down and doing a “Yowie! Wowie!” for the crowd. Fiend whips away on the outside and then brings Bryan back in, taunting Bryan in his face. Fiend has Bryan on the top turnbuckle now, beating on him and adding to the red marks across his back. Fiend turns Bryan upside down in a Tree of Woe now. Fiend whips away with the leather, unloading as Bryan falls to the mat.

Fiend laughs some more and gets down to taunt Bryan. Wyatt chokeslams Bryan into the mat and continues whipping him. Fiend poses in the corner and growls out at the crowd. Fiend turns upside down in the corner and laughs some more. Bryan fights back with shots to the face. Fiend brings Bryan to one knee with a headbutt. Fiend goes for Sister Abigail but Bryan blocks. Bryan with a big kick and the running knee for a close 2 count. Fiend charges but Bryan sends him over the top rope to the floor. Bryan goes to the top and leaps out, taking Fiend back down on the floor. Bryan unloads with strikes now. Fiend counters with ease and sends Bryan into the steel ring steps. Bryan uses the strap to pull Fiend into the ring post, and again. Bryan pulls Fiend into the ring post two more times as fans cheer him on.

Bryan keeps control on the floor until Field explodes at him with a clothesline. Fiend taunts the announcers now and Cole tells him to get the hell out of here. Fiend whips Bryan some more, then clears off the German announce table. Fiend goes on top of the table with Bryan but Bryan kick him low twice as fans pop. Bryan gets up and drops Fiend on the announce table with a big DDT. Fans start to rally as Bryan stands back on top of the table and doubles the strap up, beating on Wyatt with it. Fans count along as Bryan unloads on The Fiend with the leather. Wyatt rolls off the table to the floor.

Fans chant for Bryan now as he brings Fiend back into the ring. Bryan goes to the second turnbuckle and hits a missile dropkick. Bryan kips up and delivers Yes Kicks while Fiend is on his knees now. Bryan whips away with the strap now. Bryan drops Fiend with a roundhouse kick. Fiend gets right back up to his knees and tells Bryan to bring some more. Bryan drops Fiend and grabs him by the arms to deliver stomps. Bryan stomps away to the face to keep The Fiend down. Bryan gets a “Yes!” chant going. He charges but Fiend catches him out of nowhere with Sister Abigail for another close 2 count.

The Fiend hits and yells at himself, then gets back up to whip Bryan some more. Bryan gets up and slaps Fiend. Fiend slaps him back, knocking him down into the corner. Bryan goes to the top but Fiend applies the Mandible Claw. Bryan resists while still on the top. Bryan has a submission applied while the Mandible is also applied. Fiend brings Bryan back into the ring and brings him to the mat with the Mandible. Bryan turns that into the LeBell Lock, wrapping the strap around the face of The Fiend at the same time. Fans pop for Bryan.

Fiend easily fights out of the hold and mounts Bryan, unloading on him with right hands. Fiend whips Bryan with the leather again. Fans do dueling chants. Fiend goes for Sister Abigail again but Bryan rolls him up for a 2 count. Bryan ducks a clothesline and connects with the big knee. Fiend kicks out just in time and Bryan can’t believe it. Bryan starts getting hyped up as the crowd cheers him on. The Fiend jumps right up to his feet first. Bryan senses this and turns around. They stare each other down. Bryan grabs the strap and starts beating on Fiend with it. It does nothing to The Fiend. Fiend applies the Mandible and Bryan tries to fight out of it with strikes and slaps with the leather. Fiend grabs Bryan and chokeslams him into the mat out of nowhere, holding him down for the pin to retain.

Winner: “The Fiend” Bray Wyatt

After the match, The Fiend keeps Bryan held down for a second as his music starts playing. The referee brings the custom title into the ring and The Fiend stands tall with it, facing the crowd. The lights go out and when they come back on, The Fiend is nowhere to be seen. The referee is checking on Bryan in the middle of the ring. Medics and other referees rush down to the ring to check on Bryan while he’s down. Bryan gets up but collapses as officials tend to him, helping him out of the ring. Bryan is helped up the ramp as fans chant “thank you Bryan!” and then “yes!” for him. Bryan collapses but gets back up and stumbles his way to the exit.

– WWE has set a Minute Maid Park attendance record for an entertainment event with 42,715 people in the building.

Raw Women’s Championship
Becky Lynch (c) vs. Asuka

We go back to the ring and out comes WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions The Kabuki Warriors – Asuka with Kairi Sane. RAW Women’s Champion Becky Lynch is out next to a pop. We get formal ring introductions from Rome. Back and forth between the two to start the match as Sane looks on from ringside.

The bell rings, and they circle the ring a few times. Lynch hooks a front facelock, but Asuka gets away. Lynch hooks a side headlock and takes her over, but Asuka gets out. Asuka rolls her up for a two count. Asuka immediately goes for a kick, but Lynch gets away. Asuka rolls her up for a one count. Asuka sidesteps her, hits the ropes, and goes for a dropkick, but Lynch avoids it. Lynch then takes her down, so Asuka rolls out of the ring to recover. Asuka catches a baseball slide, spins her on the apron, and kicks her in the arm. Lynch avoids a running hip attack, kicks Asuka off the ropes, and hits a missile dropkick for a two count. Asuka quickly gets on the apron and uses the ropes to hit a neckbreaker. Asuka gets her in the ring and holds the arm while kicking her. Lynch fights back and sends her to the corner, but Asuka pops out of the corner with a missile dropkick for a near fall.

Asuka knocks her back and hits a shining wizard for another near fall. Asuka applies a neck cravat. Lynch fights her off and hits a back elbow. Asuka blocks a boot, but Lynch forearms her back. Lynch then gets double knees up to avoid an avalanche. Lynch connects with a bulldog followed by a dropkick for a two count. Lynch puts Asuka in the corner and charges, but Asuka drops her on the apron. Lynch avoids a shoulder and kicks her in the chest. Lynch goes for a Bexploder off the apron, but Asuka fights it. Asuka goes for a German Suplex off the apron, but Lynch holds the ropes. Lynch then hits a front suplex off the apron! Asuka hits the floor hard!

Lynch comes off the apron with a dropkick. Lynch connects with a Bexploder into the barricade. Lynch puts her in the ring and hits a leg drop off the second rope for a near fall. Asuka goes for a backslide, but Lynch kicks out. Asuka quickly knees her in the face and picks her up. Asuka strikes away at her. Lynch tries to counter with a Bexploder, but Asuka blocks it. Asuka slams her on her tailbone for a near fall. Asuka gets her on the apron for a slam, but Lynch fights out. Asuka then hits a running hip attack into the ring post. Asuka bounces her off the top turnbuckle. Asuka gets on the ropes, but Lynch ties her up. Lynch leaps onto the ropes, takes a while to get herself set up, and hits a sambo suplex for a near fall. Asuka soon connects with double knees for a near fall. Asuka immediately transitions into an arm bar, but Lynch turns over for a near fall. Asuka then applies the Asuka Lock, but Lynch quickly gets a foot on the bottom rope.

Asuka connects with a German Suplex before kicking away at her. Lynch appears to be unconscious. The referee backs Asuka up and checks on Lynch. Lynch grabs the referee’s ankle to stop him from calling off the match. Asuka kicks Lynch in the head again for a near fall. Asuka grabs Lynch, but Lynch goes for the Dis-Arm-Her. Asuka fights out, so Lynch hits a reverse DDT for a near fall. Both women pull themselves up to their feet. Lynch grabs the arm, so Asuka sends her into the referee. Asuka sets up for Green Mist, but Lynch kicks her in the face. Asuka sprays the mist all over herself. Lynch applies the Dis-Arm-Her for the win.

Winner: Becky Lynch

After the match, The Man celebrates as her music hits. We go to replays. Sane checks on Asuka in the corner as Becky poses with the title. Lynch stares back as The Kabuki Warriors watch her celebration. We go to another break.

30-Woman Royal Rumble Match

2-time WWE Hall of Famer and Houston’s own Booker T will be the guest commentator for the Men’s Royal Rumble. Michael Cole announces that Rusev and Bobby Lashley will not be in the Royal Rumble tonight. They got into a big brawl earlier in the day and cannot compete.

WWE Champion Brock Lesnar makes his entrance. Elias is the second entrant. While Elias is making his entrance, he says that Lesnar is a “brain dead gorilla.” Elias says there is an unavoidable truth that WWE stands for Walk With Elias.

Lesnar is furious, he exits the ring in a hurry, almost trips into the barrier, and runs after Elias, attacking him. Lesnar chases Elias back into the ring and the bell rings. Lesnar takes Elias down and unloads on him, taking him to the corner and continuing the attack. Lesnar with a big German suplex. Paul Heyman gives Lesnar the guitar, and Lesnar slams it on Elias’ back. Lesnar then eliminates Elias and stands alone in the ring.

Elias has been eliminated.

No. 3: Erick Rowan. Erick Rowan comes to the ring with the cage. Rowan gets in the ring and charges, but Lesnar ducks a clothesline. Lesnar goes for a German Suplex, but Rowan gets out. Rowan charges, but Lesnar gets away and clotheslines him out of the ring. Lesnar is again standing alone in the ring. Lesnar taunts the crowd.

Erick Rowan has been eliminated.

No. 4: Robert Roode. Roode gets in the ring and punches away at Lesnar. Lesnar sends him to the corner and charges, but Roode gets the knees up. Lesnar quickly takes him down and hits an F5. Lesnar grabs Roode and throws him over the top rope. The crowd is furious. Lesnar takes the WWE Championship and holds it up.

Robert Roode has been eliminated.

No. 5: John Morrison. Lesnar laughs as Morrison gets in the ring. Lesnar kicks him back and absolutely launches Morrison over the top rope. Morrison lasted 8 seconds.

Lesnar continues to taunt the crowd and waits for the next victim. Lesnar has had four easy eliminations.

No. 6: Kofi Kingston. Kingston kicks and punches away at Lesnar before Lesnar hits a belly-to-belly overhead suplex. Lesnar connects with a German Suplex that spikes Kingston on his head. Lesnar stands over Kingston and smiles. Lesnar drives Kingston into the corner and kicks him.

No. 7: Rey Mysterio. Mysterio tries to pepper Lesnar with quick strikes before Lesnar pancakes him. Lesnar sends Mysterio into Kingston in the corner. Lesnar pulls them both in for a double short-arm clothesline. Lesnar smiles as he stares at the carnage. Lesnar turns Mysterio inside out with a German Suplex. Lesnar is sweating profusely. Lesnar grabs Kingston and hits a German Suplex.

No. 8: Big E. Big E checks on Kingston and Mysterio at ringside, who rolled out of the ring to recover. All three get in the ring and triple-team Lesnar. Kingston hits Trouble in Paradise on Lesnar. Big E then hits Lesnar with the Big Ending. Mysterio hits a 619 on Lesnar, and Big E shoulders him. Mysterio jumps off Big E’s back, but Lesnar grabs him and eliminates him.

Rey Mysterio has been eliminated.

Lesnar jumps off Big E’s back to hit Kingston with a clothesline. Lesnar then eliminates Big E.

Big E has been eliminated.

Lesnar stands over Kingston and attacks. Lesnar then eliminates Kingston with an F5 over the top rope.

Kofi Kingston has been eliminated.

No. 9: Cesaro. Cesaro attacks Lesnar with some uppercuts. Lesnar gives him a suplex and clotheslines him over the top rope to eliminate him. Lesnar holds up the WWE Championship to boos from the crowd. Lesnar is once again alone in the ring.

Cesaro has been eliminated.

No. 10: Shelton Benjamin. Lesnar smiles as his former college roommate comes down to the ring. Heyman shakes hands with Benjamin and hugs him. Heyman tells him to get in the ring with Lesnar. Lesnar and Benjamin shake hands and hug. They high five in the ring and hug again. They set up and wait for someone else to come down. Lesnar then gives him a German Suplex and clotheslines his friend over the top rope!

Shelton Benjamin has been eliminated.

Lesnar laughs as he stands alone in the ring. Lesnar is at 9 eliminations so far. Lesnar is sweating like crazy.

No. 11: Shinsuke Nakamura. Nakamura knees away at him before hitting a kick to the temple. Lesnar then picks Nakamura up and dumps him over the top rope for his tenth elimination. Lesnar is two away from tying the record for eliminations and three from breaking it.

No. 12: MVP

Montel Vontavious Porter is back. Lesnar dances to MVP’s music as he makes his entrance. MVP walks around the ring and tries to get to Paul Heyman. MVP chases Heyman before Lesnar grabs him. MVP snaps Lesnar off the top rope and punches him. Lesnar kicks MVP and hits an F5. Lesnar then throws MVP over the top rope.

MVP has been eliminated.

No. 13: Keith Leee. Lesnar looks impressed and mouths, “Big boy!” Lee gets in the ring, and Lesnar is basking in the glory. Lesnar and Lee go face-to-face. Lesnar knees Lee in the chest before having a whip reversed. Lee absorbs a shoulder block from Lesnar and viciously shoulder blocks him down. Lesnar attacks Lesnar in the corner and hits a running forearm. The crowd is going wild. They then take each other out with a double clothesline.

No. 14: Braun Strowman. Strowman marches to the ring and is ready to brawl with Lesnar. Braun splashes Lesnar in the corner, then Lee in the opposite corner, and again. Braun dropkicks Lee and he goes under the bottom rope, staying in. Braun goes to the floor and levels Lee with a shoulder. Braun comes back in and drops Lesnar with a clothesline. Braun scoops Lesnar for a powerslam but he slides out. Lesnar with a German to Braun, then a German to Lee as he comes back in. Lesnar with another German to Braun, and another to Lee.

Strowman and Lee get to their feet and go face-to-face. They start brawling before Lesnar eliminates them both.

Keith Lee and Braun Strowman have been eliminated.

No. 15: Ricochet. Lesnar has tied the record with 13 eliminations! Ricochet goes for a springboard, but Lesnar catches him. Lesnar throws him down before sending him across the ring.

No. 16: Drew McIntyre. McIntyre stares a hole through Lesnar as he gets in the ring. Lesnar removes his gloves and prepares to square up. Ricochet low blows Lesnar, and McIntyre Claymore Kicks him over the top rope! Wow!!

Brock Lesnar has been eliminated.

The crowd is absolutely losing it. Ricochet takes McIntyre down. Ricochet goes for a standing shooting star press, but McIntyre catches him and throws him over the top rope.

No. 17: The Miz. McIntyre quickly takes Miz down before counting down and hitting a Claymore Kick. McIntyre then eliminates The Miz. 16 men have been eliminated by two individuals in the Royal Rumble and it looks like McIntyre replaces Lesnar in throwing people out of the ring.

The Miz has been eliminated.

The crowd is singing a furious Brock Lesnar to the back. Lesnar has not left yet. McIntyre continues to stare at Lesnar. Lesnar finally leaves through the crowd.

No. 18: AJ Styles. Styles punches away at McIntyre, but McIntyre sends him back. Styles goes for a Phenomenal Forearm. McIntyre avoids it and shoulder tackles him down. McIntyre goes for a suplex, but Styles gets out and applies a Calf Crusher. McIntyre slams his head off the mat to get out of the hold.

No. 19: Dolph Ziggler. Ziggler gets in McIntyre’s face and talks trash. Styles chop blocks McIntyre. Ziggler punches away at McIntyre. Ziggler then forearms Styles down. McIntyre powers Ziggler to the corner and sends him across the ring with a belly-to-belly overhead suplex. McIntyre chops the chest of Ziggler in the corner before chopping Styles.

No. 20: Karl Anderson. Anderson attacks McIntyre to save Styles. McIntyre eats a superkick. Ziggler, Styles, and Anderson try to eliminate McIntyre, but he fights it. Styles punches Ziggler and sends him into Anderson for a spinebuster. Anderson tries to eliminate Ziggler while Styles attacks McIntyre.

No. 21: Edge! Edge has just entered his first match since retiring in 2011! Edge spears Ziggler before spearing Anderson! Edge sends McIntyre into the corner before hitting a facebuster. Edge then spears McIntyre. Edge and Styles go face-to-face. Edge gets out of a strike combo, but Styles hits an overhead kick. Edge immediately comes back with a Spear on Styles. This is absolutely surreal.

No. 22: King Corbin. Corbin gets in the ring and hits a chokeslam backbreaker on Anderson. McIntyre turns Ziggler inside out with a chop. Corbin punches Edge down in the corner. Edge then eliminates Styles from the match.

AJ Styles has been eliminated.

No. 23: Matt Riddle. Riddle kicks away at McIntyre’s chest before hitting Edge with a Ripcord Knee. Corbin then grabs Riddle by the hair and eliminates him.

Matt Riddle has been eliminated.

Riddle is furious. Corbin helps Ziggler up and waves goodbye to Riddle.

No. 24: Luke Gallows. Corbin hits Edge with a Deep Six. McIntyre then eliminates Corbin!

King Corbin has been eliminated.

Gallows and Anderson grab Edge and hit the Magic Killer. They stand over him and wait for the next competitor.

No. 25: Randy Orton. Orton gets in the ring and gives Gallows and Anderson RKOs. Rated-RKO then reunite to eliminate Gallows and Anderson. Orton and Edge smile at each other.

Luke Gallows has been eliminated. Karl Anderson has been eliminated.

No. 26: Roman Reigns. Reigns punches and spears Ziggler before eliminating him.

Reigns and McIntyre start to square off.

No. 27: Kevin Owens. Owens punches Reigns down before hitting cannonballs on Reigns and Edge. Owens hits McIntyre with a Pop-up Powerbomb. Owens goes for a Pop-up Powerbomb on Reigns, but Reigns gets out. Owens then gives Reigns a Stunner. Orton stalks Owens, but Owens gives him a Stunner. Owens grabs Edge and goes to eliminate him.

No. 28: Aleister Black. Black knees Owens down before elbowing Edge back and kneeing him. McIntyre hits Black with a Glasgow Kiss. McIntyre goes for a Claymore Kick, but Black floors him with a Black Mass!

No. 29: Samoa Joe. Joe and Owens almost immediately come to blows.

No. 30: Seth Rollins. The Monday Night Messiah comes to the ring with Buddy Murphy and AOP. The Monday Night Messiah comes to the ring with Buddy Murphy and AOP. Joe and Owens go under the bottom rope to attack them. Rollins and his cohorts take Owens and Joe down. They send Edge into the barricade before sending Orton over the commentary tables. Rollins hits McIntyre with a Stomp before hitting Reigns with a Stomp. Rollins powers Reigns up, but Black knees him in the back. Black kicks Rollins in the head and goes for a springboard, but Murphy sweeps the feet. Rollins kicks Black in the head before eliminating him.

Aleister Black has been eliminated.

Owens gives Rollins a Stunner and sends him over the top rope, but AOP catches him. Owens attacks AOP, so Rollins eliminates him.

Kevin Owens has been eliminated.

Joe grabs Rollins in a Coquina Clutch. Murphy gets involved to break it up. Rollins eliminates Joe.

Samoa Joe has been eliminated.

Owens, Joe, and Black fight AOP and Murphy up the ramp and to the back. Rollins is all alone. Edge gets in the ring. McIntyre, Orton, and Reigns also stand off from Rollins. Rollins tries to make a truce with Reigns to team up together. Rollins sticks his fist out for The Shield fist bump. Reigns hits Rollins with a Superman Punch. Edge grabs Rollins and sends him into Orton for a scoop powerslam. McIntyre then floors Rollins with a Claymore Kick before eliminating him.

Seth Rollins has been eliminated.

The final four are Randy Orton, Edge, Roman Reigns, and Drew McIntyre. Edge and Orton seem to be coming up with a renewed partnership. They attack McIntyre and Reigns. Orton sends Reigns into the ring post shoulder-first. Orton and McIntyre square off, but Orton soon drops him with an RKO.

Edge then spears McIntyre down. They hit McIntyre with a double-team RKO. Orton then stalks Edge and pretends to strike. Orton then shrugs, leading to Edge looking at him with some caution. Orton walks ahead of him, so Edge throws him over the top rope!

Randy Orton has been eliminated.

Orton is not pleased, but he just shrugs it off and leaves. A “You still got it” chant picks up. Edge and Reigns go face-to-face. They start trading punches before Reigns uppercuts him. Reigns connects with a Superman Punch. Reigns sets up for a Spear and charges, but Edge leapfrogs him and hits a Spear! The crowd is going wild. Edge throws Reigns over the top rope, but he lands on the apron. Edge goes for a Spear off the apron, but Reigns moves and kicks him. Reigns pulls Edge over the top rope, and they’re throwing punches on the apron. Reigns then head-butts Edge off the apron to eliminate him.

Edge has been eliminated.

Reigns punches McIntyre back and hits a Superman Punch. McIntyre avoids being eliminated and gives Reigns a Claymore Kick. McIntyre then picks Reigns up and eliminates him!

Winner: Drew McIntyre

After the match, fans go wild and give McIntyre a standing ovation as his music hits. We go to replays. McIntyre stands tall and points up at the exploding pyro as he’s headed to WrestleMania 36. The 2020 Royal Rumble pay-per-view goes off the air with McIntyre celebrating as the crowd cheers him on.
