Nikki Bella vs Becky Lynch Confirmed for WWE Clash in Paris – Nikki Bella is officially set to challenge Becky Lynch for the WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship at Clash in Paris.
The match was confirmed during RAW in Birmingham, England, where Lynch appeared for an in-ring promo. After taking shots at the live crowd, Lynch was interrupted by Bella, who accused her of being afraid to face her. Lynch initially brushed her off but eventually accepted the challenge, making it clear that she wouldn’t wrestle Bella in Birmingham. Instead, she agreed to put the title on the line this Sunday in Paris.
WWE promoted the announcement heavily on social media, writing on X: “Will Nikki Bella leave Paris as the NEW Intercontinental Champion THIS SUNDAY?” In a follow-up post, WWE added: “THE MAN IS NOT A COWARD! BECKY LYNCH will defend her Intercontinental Title against NIKKI BELLA at #WWEClash in Paris THIS SUNDAY!”
This will mark Bella’s first major title opportunity since her in-ring return earlier this year. Meanwhile, Lynch continues her reign as Women’s Intercontinental Champion, which has seen her fend off challenges from both Maxxine Dupri and Natalya in recent weeks.
WWE Clash in Paris takes place Sunday, August 31, 2025, with the updated card now featuring:
- World Championship: Seth Rollins defends against Jey Uso, LA Knight, and CM Punk
- John Cena vs. Logan Paul
- Roman Reigns vs. Bronson Reed
- Good ‘Ol Fashioned Donnybrook Match: Sheamus vs. Rusev
- WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship: Becky Lynch (c) vs. Nikki Bella
