Michael Cole interviewed Becky Lynch.
He asks about 2015 and what it meant for her and the division. Becky says ten years ago she remembered being unsure of her position but sure of her potential. She felt they were going to change the world. She says she felt like the afterthought. She felt like ‘featuring Becky’ and it doesn’t feel that way any more.
Cole says that Becky was so humble when she started but her attitude has changed.
Becky says her attitude didn’t change, it was the people whose attitude changed. She changed the game for the last decade and you think she is a horrible person. She will be that person for you. You held her down so she will hold you down.
Cole says that Becky used to be a role model for people, like Lyra Valkyria.
Becky says she allowed Lyra to make history, like her idol. Then what does she do? All of her momentum and hard work and she ruined it. She had to be taught a lesson. Becky says it is tough love. If your dog pees on the floor, what do you do? You rub its face in it so it learns.
Cole asks what does the title mean.
She says it is the workhorse championship and it means everything to her. Becky says she is the gatekeeper of opportunities. Look at Lyra now. Becky says she elevated her.
Cole asks about tonight’s match.
Becky says she is a master of these matches because she can get to the next level. Lyra will have to push herself.
Cole mentions it is the first time she has been in the stadium since she main evented Wrestlemania.
Becky says it will bring back memories of her greatness. There is nobody who can do what she can do. Lyra will be out of the picture. Lyra won’t be in her orbit any more and it will confirm that Becky is the best. This is the cherry on top.
— Cathy is with the Street Profits. She asks about their preparation for tonight.
Ford says it has been their forte. It is their division. They won the other ladder matches. This is their first PPV in 16 months. They are going to show up and show out and get their titles back. Dawkins says it is straight business. They won the last one and they are going to win tonight.
— Dom walks in the back and Sam and Megan ambush him to ask about the match and where will it rank.
Dom says you are talking to the greatest Mysterio of all time so it will be at the top top top.
Megan asks about AJ.
Dom asks Megan who has she ever beaten and he walks away.

Paul Levesque makes his way to the ring. He says this is it. This is the moment. This is your time. All of you are part of the biggest SummerSlam in history. If you thought last night was something, you ain’t seen nothing yet. He asks everyone if they are ready. He welcomes everyone to the biggest SummerSlam in history.
Women’s World Championship: Naomi (c) vs. IYO SKY vs. Rhea Ripley
Naomi wants to watch Iyo and Rhea fight. Iyo and Rhea turn their attention to Naomi and she leaves the ring to watch and do some stretching. Iyo and Rhea invite Naomi back into the ring and Naomi is good. Rhea goes to the floor and Naomi backs up but she backs into Iyo. Naomi goes into the ring and Iyo meets her and so does Rhea. Naomi misses a forearm on Rhea and Iyo and Rhea pinball Naomi and they punch and kick her. Iyo with a drop kick into the corner on Naomi. Rhea misses a boot when Naomi slides under and Rhea kicks Iyo. Naomi with a mule kick to Rhea followed by a bulldog to IIyo in the corner and she hits Rhea. Naomi with a cross body to Rhea and Iyo. Naomi sends Rhea to the floor. Naomi with a kick to Iyo. Naomi with a snap mare using the hair and a second one on Iyo. Naomi drops Iyo on the top rope. Naomi kicks Iyo in the ropes. Rhea tries to suplex Naomi to the floor but Naomi bites the hand and connects with a forearm to send Rhea to the floor.
Naomi with a hanging X Factor on Iyo for a near fall. Naomi with a front face lock and forearms to Iyo and then she scratches Iyo in the back. Naomi with a knee and she sends Iyo into Rhea. Naomi with a springboard round kick and Rhea gives Iyo a DDT. Naomi stretches Rhea and kicks her in the midsection. Naomi is sent to the apron by Rhea and Naomi with a kick and a hanging tombstone on the apron. Naomi goes up top and hits a blockbuster on Rhea for a near fall. Naomi with a kick to Rhea’s back. Iyo leaps over Naomi and rolls through. Iyo with a sunset flip but Naomi rolls through and kicks Iyo in the head.
Rhea gets back to her feet and Rhea with short arm clotheslines and a back heel kick. Rhea with a face plant. Iyo with a springboard drop kick to Namoi. Rhea and Iyo do the Iyo pose. Iyo with a Tiger Feint Kick to Naomi and Rhea with a German suplex to Naomi. Naomi goes to the floor. Rhea misses a clothesline and Iyo with cartwheels. Rhea gets Iyo on her shoulders and she drops Iyo face first to the mat for a near fall. Rhea goes for RipTide but Iyo counters with an inside cradle for a near fall. Iyo with a cross face. Rhea rolls through and Iyo with a knee and she misses a round kick. Rhea gets Iyo on her shoulders but Iyo with a poisonrana and Naomi breaks up the cover. Iyo with an Irish whip but Naomi with a back elbow. Naomi slides unter Iyo but Rhea with a kick. Rhea with a Razor’s Edge to Iyo and she then hits a power bomb for a near fall when Naomi pulls Rhea to the floor.
Rhea pulls Naomi back to the floor and Rhea with a forearm. Rhea sends Naomi into the ringside barrier and the ring steps. Rhea with forearms to the back. Iyo with an Asai Moonsault onto Rhea and Naomi. Naomi and Iyo are in the ring and Iyo with a round kick. Iyo is stopped by Rhea but Iyo with a victory roll and double stomp. Iyo with running double knees to Rhea and Naomi. Iyo pulls Naomi into position and she goes up top for the moonsault but Rhea sends Iyo into the ring post. Rhea sets for a super belly-to-back suplex but Naomi kicks Rhea and Naomi with a split legged moonsault and Iyo wiht a moonsault to try to break it up and Naomi moves and she hits Rhea.
Naomi with a body scissors and rollup for a near fall on Iyo. Naomi with forearms to Iyo but Iyo with shotei. Iyo runs into a jumping knee from Naomi. Iyo goes to the floor. Rhea with a head butt and she hits RipTide on Naomi but Iyo breaks up the cover. Rhea and Iyo exchange forearms. Iyo with an uppercut and Rhea with a thrust kick. Naomi grabs Iyo from the apron and Iyo with a kick. Rhea tries for a boot to Iyo but Iyo moves and Naomi falls to the floor. Rhea with a boot through the ropes. Rhea with a cannonball off the apron to Naomi. Iyo goes for a suicide dive sunset flip power bomb but Rhea holds on to the ropes. Iyo holds on and power bombs Rhea onto Naomi.
Iyo rolls Rhea back into the ring for the moonsault but Rhea stops her with a forearm to the back. Rhea goes for a superplex back intot he ring but Iyo blocks it and connects with a shotei. Iyo goes up top but Rhea stops Iyo with a head butt. Rhea with a Super RipTide but Naomi rolls up Rhea for the three count.
Winner: Naomi
— We are told that August 1 and August 2, SummerSlam 2026 will take place from Minneapolis.
— We see an ice cream cone mascot in a sea of WWE fans in between matches. Some ringside cameos are shown as Michael Cole reads them off, including Michelle McCool, Nick Hogan and others. WWE ring announcer Alicia Taylor then introduces The Dudley Boyz and The Hardys.
Both legendary teams are shown in the crowd as Cole plugs their TNA World Tag-Team Championship match scheduled for TNA Bound For Glory 2025 later this year. From there, the introductions begin for our next match of the evening, which takes place on the 25th anniversary of the first TLC match.
WWE Tag Team Championship TLC Match: The Wyatt Sicks (c) vs. The Street Profits vs. DIY vs. Motor City Machine Guns vs. Andrade & Rey Fenix vs. Fraxiom
They stand in a circle and look at the belts. Eveyrone goes after Gacy and Lumis. Luis is sent to the floor and so is Gacy. Andrade is sent to the floor and so is Axiom. Ford is sent to the floor. Shelley and Sabin ae the only ones left in the ring. Gargano and Ciampa try to bring a ladder into the ring and Shelley and Sabin with a double baseball slide. Axiom and Frazer with suicide dives. Axiom and Frazer look up and they go for a large ladder at ringside. Shelley and Sabin return to the ring and we have a two team stand off. They stomp on the ladder and it hurts Axiom and Frazer. They hit a double drop kick. Axiom and Frazer set up the ladder but Gacy and Lumis have chairs. Axiom stops LUmis and Gacy throws a chair at Axiom on the turnbuckles. Gacy with a Death Valley Driver to Frazer.
Dawkins and Ford with a double back body drop toward the ladder. They bring him back into the ring and hit the double back body drop onto the ladder. Dawkins tells Ford to GET THE TABLES. They sets up a table on top of a table at ringside and they make a double stack. Ciampa sends Sabin into the ring post. Ciampa gets a chair and he hits Sabin in the midsection with it and he chokes him. Rey and Andrade take care of Ford and Dawkins. Andrade tries to lift Rey for the belts but he cannot hold on. Andrade and Rey with stereo Three Amigos to Ford and Dawkins. They put a chair onto Ford and Dawkins and go up top but Gargano and Ciampa stop them. Gargano and Ciampa hit Dawkins and Ford with chairs. Ciampa chops Ford and then Gargano and Ciampa try to send Ford into a table in the turnbuckles but Ford turns it into a plancha to the floor.
Ciampa and Gargano set up a ladder and Sabin and Shelley hit them with chairs to stop their climbs. Shelley with knees to Gacy and they hit a flatliner and missile drop kick combination to send Gacy into a chair. Lumis sends Ford’s head into a table at ringside. Shelley punches Gacy but Gargano throws a chair at Shelley. Gargano and Gacy go through a table. Lumis goes up top and hits a back senton to Ford through a table. Rey looks around and he goes up top and hits a frog splash onto Frazer through the table. Dawkins goes up top and Axiom with a kick to stop him. Axiom with Spanish Fly through the table after Ciampa gets out of the way and off the table.
Candice LeRae makes her way to the ring to check on her husband and she climbs the ladder but B-Fab comes out and stops Candice and hits a uranage onto a chair. Nikki ges in the ring to stop Fab. Nikki with a belly-to-back suplex off the ladder. Candice climbs again and Ciampa holds off Sabin and Shelley while Gargano braces the ladder. Ford kicks Ciampa and he goes into Gargano and Candice goes off the ladder through the ladder bridging the ring and announce table. Gargano climbs the ladder and Ford pulls him off. Ford with a jumping knee to Gargano. Ford climbs the ladder and Rowan pushes Ford off and he lands on his feet bu Rowan with a boot. Rowan with a spinning heel kick to Dawkins followed by a power bomb of Ford into Dawkins. Rowan goes for a double choke slam but Ford and Dawkins kick him and they nail him with many chair shots.
Rowan stands in front of the table in the corner and Dawkins and Ford with a double shoulder through the table. Ciampa is up top and he has the belts but Shelley and Sabin pull the ladder away. Frazer climbs the ladder and he kicks Gargano but Ciampa avoids the Edge spear tribut. Frazer with a springoard moonsault attempt but Gargano with a super kick to Frazer. Ciampa has the ladder returned to him but Ford leaps on the ladder and stops Ciampa.
Ford has the belts but Asiom punches Ford. Shelley and Sabin set up another ladder while Axiom connects with forearms on Ford. Ciampa and Gargano go up the Shelley and Sabin ladder. Shelley and Sabin are knocked off the ladder. Bo sends Axiom and Ford to the mat off the ladder. Gargano and Ciampa are pushed off the ladder by Bo through the double stack of tables. Bo with a mandible claw to Frazer at the top of the ladder. Bo choke slams Frazer off the ladder. Rey cliimbs the ladder and Bo with a mandible claw to Rey. Andrade with a sunset flip power bomb onto the bridge ladder on Bo. Rey climbs the ladder and he has the belts. Lumis and Gacy hit Rey with a chair and they hit a suplex and power bomb combination on Rey. Gacy climbs and he takes the belts off.

Women’s Intercontinental Championship: Becky Lynch (c) vs. Lyra Valkyria
They stare at each other before Becky slaps Lyra. Lyra slaps back and Lyra with a forearm and Becky goes down. Lyra with an Irish whip and kicks in the corner. Lyra with an other Irish whip that sends Becky face first into the turnbuckles. Lyra with an Irish whip and hip toss. Becky goes to the floor. Lyra goes for the drop kick through the ropes but Becky moves. Becky sends Lyra into the announce table. Becky goes under the ring for a kendo stick. Lyra goes up and sh has a crow bar. Lyra breaks the kendo stick and Becky begs for mercy but Lyra misses. Becky with a kick and she sends Lyra into the ring steps. Becky tries to send Lyra into the ringside barrier but Lyra lands on top and she kicks Becky. Lyra sends Becky into the ringside barrier and ring steps. Lyra with forearms and chops. Lyra kicks Becky against the ringside barrier
Lyra sends Becky into a photographer and then the ringside barrier. Lyra sends Becky into the ring post. Lyra sends Becky over the announce table. Becky sits in a chair and Lyra with a drop kick to send her to the floor. Lyra goes under the ring and she gets a table. Lyra sets up the table on the floor. Becky chokes Lyra with a chain and holds her against the ring post. Becky sends Lyra into the ring steps. Becky sends Lyra back into the ring and she has the kendo stick and hits Lyra in the back with it. Becky with a White Russian Leg Sweep for a near fall. Becky drives the kendo stick into the ribs (remember she was in Happy Gilmore 2). Becky whiffs and Lyra tries to get Becky up but Becky escapes and hits a reverse DDT for a near fall. Becky kicks Lyra and hits her again with the kendo stick. Becky gets the tool box.
Becky also gets chairs from under the ring. Becky hits Lyra in the back with the chair. Becky sets up the chair in the ring and she tries to send Lyra into the chair but Lyra blocks it. Becky with a drop toe hold into the chair. Becky has the tool box and she hits Lyra in the head with it. Becky gets a near fall. Becky opens the tool box and she hits her with a zip tie and then she ties up Lyra’s hands. Becky kicks Lyra. Becky grabs a wrench and she hits Lyra with it many times. Becky with a running wrench shot for a near fall. Becky with an exploder. . Becky with another exploder. Lyra goes to the floor and Becky sends Lyra into the ring steps. Becky hangs Lyra from the ring post and she hits Lyra with the kendo stick. Becky takes Lyra off the ring post and she goes up top. Becky with a leg drop for a near fall.
Becky sets the chair in the ring and Becky kicks the tool box to the floor. Becky sets for a uranage onto the chair but Lyra blocks it and she connects with head butts and follows with a belly-to-belly suplex. Lyra with a back heel kick and more kicks and a spinning back heel kick. Lyra comes off the chairs with a drop kick. Lyra goes up top for a moonsault and hits it for a near fall. Lyra sends Becky’s head into the chair. Lyra removes the turnbuckle pad and Becky stops Lyra and sends her into the ring post. Becky looks for Lyra. Lyra is under the ring and she sprays Becky with a fire extinguisher. Lyra continues to try to get the zip tie taken off but she is still frustrated. Becky has a kendo stick while Lyra goes under the ring. Becky swings wildly and Lyra is free from the zip ties. Becky has the kendo stick blocked and Lyra takes it and hits Becky many times.
Lyra with kendo stick shots and a suplex for a near fall. Becky holds up a chair and Lyra with a drop kick through the ropes into the chair. Lyra goes for Night Wing on the floor but Becky gets to the steps and Becky goes for a uranage but Lyra blocks it. Lyra with Night Wing off the steps to the floor. Lyra sends Becky into the ring but Becky rolls to the floor. Lyra gets Becky and sends her back into the ring. Lyra misses a splash into the exposed turnbuckle and Becky with a uranage onto the chairs for a near fall. Lyra rolls to the floor and Becky hits Lyra with the chair. Becky sends Lyra’s head into the chair. Becky kicks Lyra while she is in the chair. Becky runs Lyra into the table while she is caught in the chair. Lyra backs Becky into the ring post but Lyra misses when Becky moves. Becky sends Lyra into the post and traps her against the announce table.
Becky stomps on the top of the chair and Lyra is down. Becky has the crow bar and . . .
Bayley sops Becky from using the crow bar. Becky says something to Bayley and Becky tells Bayley to do it. Bayley throws the crow bar down and Becky tries to punch Bayley with the chain. Bayley punches Becky and they go around the ring. Bayley sends Becky into the ringside barrier and she misses a knee and hits the ringside barrier. Lyra with a leg drop to the back of the head hrough the table on the floor. Lyra gets Becky up and Becky escapes and Lyra with an arm drag to counter a uranage. Bayley punches Lyra when Becky moves.and Becky with a uranage for the three count.

United States Championship Steel Cage Match: Solo Sikoa (c) vs. Jacob Fatu
Solo says something to Fatu and he punches Solo. Fatu with punch. Solo with a boot to Fatu but Fatu with a back elbow. Fatu tries to send Solo into the cage but Solo blocks it. Fatu with a head butt to Solo and he head butts Solo from the corner. Fatu with a flying forearm. Solo avoids being sent into the cage and Solo back drops Fatu into the cage. Solo with a splash to the back to send Fatu into the cage. Solo with another splash to Fatu against the cage. Solo with a back senton. Solo slams Fatu’s head into the cage. Solo with a head butt and punches. Solo with a running splash into the cage. Solo asks for the door to open and he is stopped by Fatu. Solo punches Fatu while the cage door is closed. Solo sets for the Samoan Spike but Fatu avoids it and Fatu with a super kick. Solo with a super kick and Fatu with a flying clothesline.
They exchange punches. Fatu sends Solo into the cage many times. Solo sends Fatu into the cage and Fatu likes it. Fatu with a clothesline and back senton. Fatu with a running hip into the corner. Fatu with an Impaler DDT. Fatu with a double jump moonsault and he hits a second one but Solo kicks out.
JC Mateo, Tonga Loa, and Talla Tonga make their way to ringside and they surround the cage.
Jimmy Uso’s music plays to evenish the odds.
Jimmy with super kicks to Loa and Mateo. Talla with a boot to Jimmy and he sends Jimmy into the cage and over the announce table. Solo tries to get to the door while Fatu is distracted and Fatu pulls him back into the cage and he tells the referee to lock the door. Solo with a Samoan spike for a near fall. Solo climbs the cage and Fatu stops him. Fatu with head butts and Mateo climbs the cage along with Loa. Fatu kicks Mateo off the cage. Talla has handcuffs and he climbs over the cage with Loa. Fatu is handcuffed to the top of the cage. Mateo opens the door for Solo but Fatu gets out of the handcuffs and he pulls Solo back into the cage. Solo kicks Fatu away. Fatu kicks the door into Mateo. Solo avoids Fatu and he hangs out the door but Fatu holds on to his legs. Talla kicks the door into Fatu’s head and it somehow missed hitting Solo.
Solo falls to the floor.
Winner: Solo Sikoa
After the match, Mateo remains at ringside while Talla and Solo are on the ramp. Jimmy with a super kick to Mateo and he puts him in the cage and closes the door.
Fatu with super kicks to Loa and Mateo. Fatu goes up for the double jump moonsault, but he decides to turn it into a moonsault off the top of the cage. He hits it on Mateo and Loa and then he buffers.
Intercontinental Championship: Dominik Mysterio (c) vs. AJ Styles
Dom rolls to the floor when the bell rings. Dom misses an elbow drop when AJ slides back into the ring. AJ with a back breaker. Dom wants a test of strength. Dom goes for a kick but AJ blocks it and AJ with an atomic drop and a clothesline to send Dom over the top rope to the floor. AJ teases a pescado but Dom moves. AJ lands on the apron and Dom with a leg sweep on the apron and he sends AJ to the floor. Dom with a springboard cross body onto AJ on the floor. Dom with a slingshot senton for a near fall. Dom with kicks in the corner. AJ blocks a super rana and Dom kicks AJ to avoid a super Styles Clash. AJ with a tornado DDT off the turnbuckles. AJ with a clothesline and a sliding foearm. AJ with a clothesline into the corner followed by an Ushigoroshi for a near fall.
Dom misses a clothesline and AJ with a Pele Kick. Dom sends AJ to the apron and AJ with a forearm. AJ leaps over Dom and rolls through. Dom with a Michinoku Driver for a near fall. Dom with a suplex and he holds on for the second one. Dom sets for the third Amigo but AJ counters with a brainbuster. AJ goes up top and he goes for a frog splash and Dom gets his knees up. Dom drop kicks AJ into the ropes and Dom sets for the 619 and he hits it. Dom goes up top and sets for the frog splash and AJ catches him and applies the Calf Crusher. Dom gets to the ropes to force the break. Dom sends AJ into the middle turnbuckle. Dom exposes the top turnbuckle and the referee yells at Dom and he goes after the pad on the floor. Dom goes to the floor and he grabs a chair.
Dom hits the mat with the chair and he tosses it to AJ, but AJ falls down and puts the chair on his head. The referee turns around and because he saw nothing, he will listen to the argument. AJ with an enzuigiri. AJ is dropped in an uncomfortable way on the top rope. AJ kicks the ropes and Dom is in similar pain. Dom with a double thrust but AJ with a calf crusher. Dom reaches for the ropes but Dom’s boot comes off and Dom gets to the ropes. AJ almost hits the referee by accident but he misses. Dom hits AJ with the boot and Dom goes up top and hits a frog splash for the three count.
Winner: Dominik Mysterio
— Stephanie McMahon is in the ring to find out if everyone is having a good time. She announces that tonight’s attendance is 60,561. The two night total is 113,722.
Undisputed WWE Championship Street Fight: Cody Rhodes (c) vs. John Cena
Cena and Cody stand face to face in the center of the ring and Cena hugs Cody and he says something that Cody agrees to and they throw punches. Cody with punches and Cena punches back and he sends Cody to the floor. Cody Irish whips Cena into the ring steps. Cody picks up Cena and sends him into the apron. Cody with a punch. Cena Irish whips Cody into the ring steps. Cena takes Halliburton’s crutch and he hits Cody with it. They return to the ring and Cena brings the bottom part of the ring steps into the ring. Cena goes for an Attitude Adjustment onto the steps but Cena escapes and he slams Cena onto the steps. Cody goes to the turnbuckles and Cena gets up and pushes Cody off the turnbuckles to the floor. Cena presses the steps over his head and he tosses them at Cody and he connects.
Cena sends Cody into the ringside barrier and then Cody with a springboard Beautiful Disaster to knock Cena off the apron. Cody with a side Russian leg sweep for a near fall. Cody with a kick and a drop down uppercut for a near fall. Cody with a hammer lock using his leg and a rear chin lock. Cena kicks Cody in the midsection and gives him an Irish whip. Cody floats over and hits a power slam for a near fall. Cena back drops Cody over the top rope to the floor. Cody looks under the ring and he gets a chair. Cena also has a chair. They enter the ring and we go Tanaka/Awesome and Cody gets the advantage and he kicks Cena’s chair to the floor. Cody hits Cena with the chair and Cody gets a near fall. Cody puts the chair in the turnbuckles. Cena reverses an Irish whip and he sends Cody into the chair in the turnbuckles.
Cena with two flying shoulder tackles followed by a Blue Thunder Bomb. Cena with the Five Knuckle Shuffle and he gets Cody up for the Attitude Adjustment but Cody escapes. Cody with two clotheslines and jabs followed by a bionic elbow. Cody with a Cody Cutter for a near fall. Cody picks up Cena and Cena gets Cody up for an Attitude Adjustment and Cena gets a near fall. Cody kicks Cena away on an STF attempt. Cody with a kick and he goes up top and he hits a moonsault for a near fall. Cody with Beautiful Disaster for a near fall. Cody goes to the turnbuckles for a double jump Cody Cutter for a near falll. Cena gets Cody on his shoulders and he hits an electric chair drop for a near fall. Cena gets Cody up and Cody gets to his feet. Cody with a pile driver for a near fall.
The referee checks on Cena after the pile driver and he holds Cody back. Cody picks up Cena and Cena with an Attitude Adjustment and both men are down. Cody with a punch and Cena punches back. They continue the exchange. Cody with a kick and Cena with punches. They return to punches. Cody with a pop up power bomb for a near fall. Cena with an STF. Cody gets to the ropes but there are no rope breaks and Cena holds on. Cody pulls Cena into the bottom rope to get out of the hold. Cena sends Cody into the apron. Cody Irish whips Cena over the ringside barrier into the time keeper’s area. Cena hits Cody in the head with a microphone. Cena with a Code Red and then he adjusts the announce table. Cena puts Cody on the other announce table. Cena gets Cody up for an Attitude Adjustment through the other table and he hits it.
Cena rolls a lifeless Cody to the ring. Cena gets a near fall. Cena goes into the corner and Cody moves. Cody with CrossRhodes for a near fall. Cody gets Cena on the turnbuckles and Cody punches Cena. Cody sets for a superplex but Cena blocks it and he head butts Cody. Cena with a Rocker Dropper to Cody. Cena with an Attitude Adjustment for a near fall. Cena goes to the floor and he tosses a chair aside. Cena goes for a table and he brings it into the table and sets it up. Cena waits for Cody to turn around to try for an Attitude Adjustment through the table but Cody kicks the table away and hits a DDT for a near fall. Cody puts the table in the corner against the turnbuckles. Cody tries to Irish whip Cena into the table but he slides into the corner. Cody avoids being sent into the table. They fight into the crowd and Cody hits Cena with a drink.
Cena sends Cody into a guardrail. Cody tosses a trash can at Cena and Cena catches it. They exchange punches and they go further into the crowd. They continue to exchange punches. Cena hits Cody with a guardrail. He hits Cody again with the guardrail. Cena goes for an Attitude Adjustment into the guardrail but Cody gets to his feet and he suplexes Cena into the guardrail. Cody punches Cena and they go in front of the stage. Cena with a kick and he sends him under the stage. They rise from the CodyVator and Cena has Cody on his shoulders. Cena carries Cody to the edge of the stage and he hits an Attitude Adjustment on the ramp. Cena picks up Cody again and carries him toward the ring. Cena rolls Cody into the ring. Cody sends Cena through the table and Cody with CrossRhodes and he gets a near fall.
They get back to their feet and Cody goes over the top rope when Cena drops down. Cena hangs over the middle rope and Cody hits Cena with the chair. Cody removes the turnbuckle from the bottom rope in the corner. Cody holds the turnbuckle and he hits Cena with it. Cody waits for Cena to get up and Cena falls to the mat. Cody looks around but he hits Cena again. Cody asks the referee to check to see if Cena wants to continue. Cena does not give up. Cena with a drop toe hold and Cody falls onto the turnbuckle. Cena with an STF and he chokes Cody with the rope. Cody with a choke using the rope. Cena powers out and he kicks Cody in the midsection. Cody escapes an Attitude Adjustment. Cody with two CrossRhodes and he thinks he has to do a third one.
Cody with a third CrossRhodes for a near fall. Cocy walks over to the title belt and he grabs it and brings it into the ring. Cody looks around and he misses Cena and Cena with an Attitude Adjustment and a second one. Cena gets the title belt and he tosses it aside. Cena puts Cody on the turnbuckles and he gets Cody up for a Super Attitude Adjustment and he hits but Cody kicks out. Cena goes under eh ring for a table. Cena sets up the table in the center of the ring. Cena puts Cody on the turnbuckles again. Cena sets for another Super Attitude Adjusment but Cody with elbows and he goes for a super Cody Cutter through the table. Cena gets up firt and Cena falls into the ropes. Cody saltues Cena and he hits CrossRhodes for the three count.
Winner: Cody Rhodes (new champion)
After the match, Cena hands Cody the title belt and they hug. Cody returns the favor and he leaves the ring.
Cena remains in the ring and the crowd gives him an ovation, as Brock Lesnar’s music plays and he makes his way to the ring, but first he has to do the Brock Bounce.
Brock circles the ring and he takes off his vest. Brock takes off his hat and then he comes itno the ring and he gets Cena up for an F5 and hits it.
Brock leaves as we go to credits.

WWE SummerSlam 2025 Night Two Preview
John Cena will defend the Undisputed WWE Championship tonight for the first time since retaining against CM Punk at WWE Night of Champions on June 28, as he squares off with longtime rival Cody Rhodes in a Street Fight. After months of Rhodes — along with Superstars like Randy Orton and the aforementioned Punk — urging Cena to return to his old self, Cena finally admitted during last Friday’s episode of WWE SmackDown that his behavior over the past five months may not have been ideal.
Five additional championships will also be on the line tonight, including Naomi’s first defense of the Women’s World Championship. She’ll face IYO SKY and Rhea Ripley in a Triple Threat Match. Naomi became champion after cashing in her Money in the Bank briefcase at WWE Evolution on July 13 during SKY’s title defense against Ripley. Despite their recent alliance, Ripley and SKY are now both challengers to Naomi’s reign.
Jacob Fatu and Solo Sikoa will collide inside a Steel Cage for the United States Championship. The two cousins have been embroiled in a bitter feud, which escalated when Fatu betrayed Sikoa at Money in the Bank, costing him the ladder match. Sikoa would later get revenge by defeating Fatu for the U.S. Title at Night of Champions, but tensions remained high — especially after Fatu led a counterattack against MFT following a post-match ambush on Jimmy Uso this past Friday.
Dominik Mysterio is also set to defend the Intercontinental Championship against AJ Styles in his first singles match since retaining against AAA’s Octagon Jr. at Money in the Bank. Despite being absent from in-ring competition with a doctor’s note, Dominik ambushed Styles last week and later revealed he had been cleared to compete.
In Women’s Intercontinental Championship action, Becky Lynch will defend the title against former champion Lyra Valkyria in a No Disqualification, No Countout Match. If Valkyria fails to reclaim the title, she will be barred from challenging for it again as long as Lynch remains champion. The tension between the two has grown ever since Lynch attacked Valkyria on the April 21 episode of RAW, and then dethroned her at Money in the Bank. Valkyria came up short in a Triple Threat rematch at Evolution.
After successfully defending their WWE Tag Team Titles against Rey Fenix and Andrade on the July 25 edition of SmackDown, Dexter Lumis and Joe Gacy of The Wyatt Sicks will now defend the gold in a Six-Pack TLC Match. They’ll face Fenix and Andrade, Nathan Frazer and Axiom, The Street Profits, #DIY, and the Motor City Machine Guns. With tensions escalating between The Wyatt Sicks and nearly every other team in the division, all ten challengers have been uniting in recent weeks to try and bring down the dominant faction, which also includes Uncle Howdy, Erick Rowan, and Nikki Cross.
