Update on Swerve Strickland’s AEW Return – Swerve Strickland and Hangman Page have become a major topic of conversation following their brutal Unsanctioned Steel Cage Match at AEW’s All Out pay-per-view at NOW Arena in Chicago. The match was filled with extreme moments, including bumps on a cinderblock, Swerve delivering a foot stomp through a table, and even using a piece of burnt wood to stab Page in the head.
The match’s intense conclusion saw Page using a needle, stabbing Swerve in the mouth, and following it up with a chair shot to the head that left Swerve unconscious. After the event, reports surfaced that Swerve would be taking time off from AEW to recover.
However, according to Dave Meltzer in the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Swerve’s return might happen sooner than anticipated. With AEW’s WrestleDream pay-per-view scheduled for October 12 in his home state of Washington, there’s speculation that Swerve could be part of the event. Although the exact timing of his return remains uncertain, fans are hopeful to see him back in action soon.
