Seth Rollins Wins MITB Ladder Match, Jacob Fatu Turns on Solo Sikoa

Seth Rollins Wins MITB Ladder Match, Jacob Fatu Turns on Solo Sikoa – Seth Rollins is once again Mr. Money in the Bank. At WWE Money in the Bank 2025, Rollins secured his second career win in the signature ladder match, earning the coveted briefcase and a guaranteed world title shot at any point over the next year.

The match itself was a brutal, high-stakes battle involving Seth Rollins, LA Knight, Andrade, Penta, Solo Sikoa, El Grande Americano, and a host of outside interference that escalated the drama. What began as an all-out brawl quickly devolved into mayhem, with multiple wrestlers launching high-flying attacks, brutal ladder spots, and temporary alliances.

Things took a dramatic turn when Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed entered the fray, interfering in favor of Seth Rollins. However, their presence was soon countered by Jacob Fatu and JC Mateo, creating a four-way standoff. The chaos culminated in one of the night’s most shocking moments—just as Solo Sikoa seemed poised to retrieve the briefcase, Jacob Fatu turned on him. After setting up the ladder for Solo, Fatu told him, “I hate you”, delivered a devastating superkick, and followed up with a double-jump moonsault and a uranage onto a ladder bridging the ring and barricade.

Earlier in the match, the action never let up. Andrade and Penta launched themselves in aerial assaults outside the ring. El Grande Americano introduced a “Fireball” ladder, swinging it like a helicopter in a nod to Terry Funk. Multiple wrestlers fought atop ladders, exchanging strikes and suplexes from precarious heights. Andrade nailed Grande with a sunset flip powerbomb, while Penta hit a Destroyer on Andrade through a bridged ladder.

Bron Breakker speared Knight through the barricade. Reed flattened Andrade with a top-rope Tsunami. LA Knight came close several times, even trying to hit the BFT on Rollins late in the match. But after surviving a suplex war, sneak attacks, and repeated betrayals, Rollins finally delivered a Black Out to Knight before climbing the ladder one last time to grab the briefcase.

Now, with the briefcase in hand, Rollins has a guaranteed shot at the World Heavyweight Championship at any moment he chooses. And given his history of shocking cash-ins, the landscape of WWE could shift dramatically in the coming months.
