The IInspiration Return at TNA Against All Odds, Signs New Contract – TNA’s Knockouts tag team division just received a major boost as The IInspiration—Jessie McKay and Cassie Lee—made their official return at Against All Odds on June 6.
During a segment featuring the current Knockouts Tag Team Champions Ash By Elegance and Heather Reckless, fans were surprised when The IInspiration’s music hit. McKay and Lee came to the ring and made their intentions clear—they’re gunning for the gold. Later in the show, TNA announced that The IInspiration will be in action on the next episode of Impact.
According to Fightful Select, the duo recently finalized deals to rejoin TNA. Sources indicate both McKay and Lee have signed short-term contracts, reportedly under a year, with extension options available if both sides are satisfied.
TNA insiders noted that recent changes in company leadership helped facilitate the deal. The promotion had also been seeking to strengthen its women’s tag division, making the timing of The IInspiration’s return ideal. In anticipation of their comeback, TNA already launched new IInspiration merchandise on its official website.
Fans will remember that McKay and Lee first arrived in TNA in 2021 following their WWE release. They captured the Knockouts Tag Team Titles from Decay (Havok and Rosemary), becoming the first team to win tag team titles in both WWE and TNA. The duo stepped away from the wrestling business in 2022 but made headlines earlier this year with their in-ring return against Kylie Rae and Nicole Matthews at Prestige Wrestling’s Nothing to Lose during WrestleMania weekend.
Also making a return to the Knockouts division was Killer Kelly, who appeared after Masha Slamovich successfully defended the Knockouts World Championship. Kelly entered the ring holding her signature chain and left it on the mat in front of Slamovich before exiting, signaling that unfinished business remains between the two.
Killer Kelly had taken a hiatus from TNA last year and gave birth to her daughter with fellow wrestler Myron Reed in November. Her return alongside The IInspiration’s re-emergence signals a refreshed and competitive Knockouts division heading into the summer.
