Opinions among witnesses have diverged, with some asserting that no punch was thrown, while others insist that a punch indeed occurred.
Subsequent reports reveal that the predominant version of events is that Perry initiated the confrontation with Punk, leading to a physical altercation involving shoving. Additional sources have verified that Punk applied a chokehold on Perry.
Punk is reported to remain backstage at the event, while Perry was instructed to leave the venue.
