LA Knight Vs Aleister Black Set for SmackDown – A high-stakes singles match has been added to tonight’s WWE SmackDown, the final episode before Saturday’s Money In The Bank premium live event, as LA Knight is set to face Aleister Black.
This match was made following Aleister Black’s recent outburst, where he blamed LA Knight for “stealing” his Money In The Bank opportunity. The controversy stems from a recent qualifying match in which Knight secured his spot by pinning Shinsuke Nakamura—an outcome Black believes robbed him of his rightful place in the match.
In addition to the Knight vs. Black clash, all six confirmed participants in the Men’s Money In The Bank Ladder Match—Seth Rollins, LA Knight, Andrade, Penta, “El Grande Americano” Chad Gable, and Solo Sikoa—are advertised to appear on the show. This will mark the final confrontation before they all compete for the coveted briefcase at Saturday’s event.
The June 6 edition of SmackDown from Bakersfield, California, is already stacked with marquee moments, including a major six-woman tag team bout featuring all the Women’s Money In The Bank participants. Rhea Ripley, Stephanie Vaquer, and Alexa Bliss will team up against Roxanne Perez, Giulia, and Naomi.
Also on tap is a heated segment involving top champions and challengers: World Heavyweight Champion Jey Uso and Cody Rhodes will share the ring with Undisputed WWE Champion John Cena and United States Champion Logan Paul, ahead of their high-profile tag team showdown at Money In The Bank.
