Shotzi Responds to "Injury Prone" Criticism

Shotzi Responds to “Injury Prone” Criticism – Shotzi has officially exited WWE, and in the wake of her departure, she’s not holding back when it comes to addressing critics online. Following her release, Shotzi took to social media on Monday to confront claims labeling her as “injury prone.”

Shotzi, who suffered a torn ACL in early 2024, spent much of the year recovering and eventually returned to action later that year. Despite that setback, she made it clear that the narrative being pushed about her health is exaggerated.

“You idiots don’t know what injury prone means — one major injury in 12 years is ‘injury prone.’” she wrote. “‘Injury prone’ is a term that you wanna be smart marks overuse to sound smart.”

She also took a stand for her fellow wrestlers who face similar criticism from fans, adding, “100% of the wrestlers you are calling injury prone are not, they are just human.”

Shotzi’s departure comes after a nearly five-year stint with WWE, where she transitioned from NXT to the main roster and brought her signature high-energy style to the ring. Her final televised appearance came at NXT Stand & Deliver 2025.

Despite the end of her WWE chapter, Shotzi appears optimistic about her future in professional wrestling. The former WWE Superstar is now heavily linked to Major League Wrestling, with MLW teasing her debut at their upcoming “Summer of the Beasts” event on June 26 at the Melrose Ballroom in New York City.

Shotzi’s statement serves as a direct rebuttal to misconceptions about injury frequency and durability in pro wrestling. Her remarks emphasize that performers put their bodies on the line regularly and that one injury doesn’t define an entire career.
