Bronson Reed Returns, Aligns with Rollins, Breakker, and Heyman – Big Bronson Reed made a shocking return during the opening match of WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event, delivering a powerful statement and aligning himself with Seth Rollins, Bron Breakker, and Paul Heyman.
The bout featured Seth Rollins and Bron Breakker teaming up to face CM Punk and Sami Zayn. Just as Punk and Zayn looked to be closing in on victory, chaos broke out with a timely and violent intervention from the returning Reed.
Late in the match, Zayn delivered an exploder suplex into the turnbuckles to Rollins and prepared to hit the Helluva Kick. At that moment, Paul Heyman grabbed Zayn’s leg, drawing a warning from the referee. While the official was distracted, Bronson Reed suddenly charged out from the back and launched himself into CM Punk with a devastating splash through the ringside barrier.
With Punk taken out, Bron Breakker capitalized and hit Sami with a thunderous Spear, securing the three-count for the victory.
Following the match, Reed entered the ring and stood face-to-face with Rollins and Breakker. After a brief moment of tension, Rollins patted Breakker on the shoulder and embraced Reed. Breakker and Reed shook hands, making their new alliance official.
CM Punk attempted to fight back, going after Heyman, but was quickly overwhelmed. Reed took out Punk with a back senton, followed by Breakker and Rollins restraining Punk so Reed could finish the assault with a massive Tsunami splash.
This marked Bronson Reed’s first appearance since Survivor Series: WarGames, where he suffered an injury attempting a top-of-the-cage Tsunami on Roman Reigns. Punk had stopped the move at the time, helping protect Reigns. Now, Reed seems to have returned with a grudge and powerful new allies.
The formation of this dominant trio—Breakker, Rollins, and Reed—under the watchful eye of Paul Heyman could have major implications for the WWE landscape moving forward.
