WWE Officially Brings Back Evolution – After months of speculation, WWE has officially announced the return of Evolution, the company’s all-women’s premium live event, set to take place on Saturday, July 13th at the State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia. The announcement was made during the May 24th edition of WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event.
This marks the first time WWE will host Evolution since its inaugural event in October 2018, which was held in Uniondale, New York. That show featured eight matches and was headlined by Ronda Rousey defending the RAW Women’s Championship against Nikki Bella. The event was praised by fans and critics alike for its strong card and focus on showcasing the depth of WWE’s women’s roster.
The return of Evolution is part of a major weekend in Atlanta for WWE. On Friday, July 12th, WWE will present a special edition of Saturday Night’s Main Event, and Evolution will follow the next night. In addition, NXT Great American Bash is also scheduled to be part of that same week of programming, although WWE has not yet confirmed the exact date for that show.
The revival of Evolution is being seen as a significant step in highlighting the continued growth and prominence of women’s wrestling within WWE. No matches or participants have been officially announced yet, but with the event just weeks away, further details are expected to be revealed soon.
