The Wyatt Sicks Wreak Havoc in SmackDown Return – After months of speculation and conflicting reports, The Wyatt Sicks made their long-awaited return to WWE television during the May 23rd episode of WWE SmackDown, marking their first appearance since December 2024.
The group—Uncle Howdy (Bo Dallas), Dexter Lumis, Joe Gacy, Erick Rowan, and Nikki Cross—appeared during the main event WWE Tag Team Championship match between The Street Profits (Montez Ford & Angelo Dawkins) and Fraxiom (Nathan Frazer & Axiom). As Montez Ford ascended the ropes to deliver his signature Frog Splash, the arena was plunged into darkness.
When the lights returned, all five members of the Wyatt Sicks stood ominously in the ring. What followed was total chaos, as the faction unleashed a brutal assault—not only laying out both teams competing in the match, but also attacking Johnny Gargano, Tommaso Ciampa, Candice LeRae, and the Motor City Machine Guns (Alex Shelley & Chris Sabin), all of whom were involved in the melee as the bout devolved.
The segment ended with a symbolic moment. Uncle Howdy delivered a Sister Abigail to Gargano before the lights dimmed once more. In the darkness, a single candle was seen on a birthday cake. Howdy blew out the candle, a chilling tribute to Bray Wyatt, whose birthday fell on May 23rd.
The return caused the tag team title match to end in a no contest.
The Wyatt Sicks had not been seen since their shocking debut in December 2024. Their reappearance adds a sinister new element to WWE’s tag team landscape, and leaves more questions than answers about their motives and future path.
