After two months away from television, Reina Volcan (f.k.a. Nikki Blackheart) made a dramatic return during the September 22 episode of WWE NXT, making her presence felt in the women’s division.
Volcan made her unannounced arrival during a singles contest between Kali Armstrong and Skylar Raye. Late in the match, referee Dallas Irvin was accidentally knocked out of the ring, leaving the competitors vulnerable.
Taking advantage of the chaos and referee distraction, Volcan entered the ring and ambushed both Armstrong and Raye. Despite the surprise attack, Raye managed to collapse over Armstrong’s body just as the referee crawled back inside to administer the three-count, securing the victory for Raye.
While Volcan has remained active working NXT live events in recent weeks, her appearance on the September 22 broadcast marked her first televised match involvement since July 21, when she defeated Skylar Raye in singles action.
