WWE returned to Santiago, Chile on Saturday night for a major championship showdown, where Stephanie Vaquer defeated Liv Morgan to capture the Women’s World Championship in front of her home country crowd. The explosive title change occurred after WWE Official Adam Pearce sanctioned the bout following heavy Judgment Day interference on the previous episode of Monday Night RAW, adding special guest referee Becky Lynch to ensure order.
Special Guest Referee Becky Lynch Cost Liv Morgan
The closing moments of the championship match devolved into personal hostility between Morgan and the special guest referee.
Morgan appeared to have the match locked up after landing Oblivion on the challenger. However, as Lynch began the pinfall count, she deliberately stopped at two, turned around, and flipped off Morgan.
The brief distraction allowed Vaquer to recover instantly, taking control of the match by delivering the SVB followed by the Vaquer Inferno to secure the three-count.
Following the victory, Lynch raised Vaquer’s hand in victory. After exchanging a few brief words, Lynch and Vaquer shared a hug in the center of the ring as the new champion celebrated her milestone win with the crowd in Santiago.
The Road Back To The Championship
Vaquer’s title victory marks her second reign as WWE Women’s World Champion, ending Morgan’s reign at 148 days. This also mark the first World Title change at a WWE live event since 1994.

- Post-SummerSlam RAW: Vaquer returned to confront Morgan, but was interrupted by a returning Becky Lynch, who also staked her claim to the title.
- September 7 RAW: Vaquer earned a WrestleMania rematch against Morgan. Despite Lynch providing support at ringside, Judgment Day member Roxanne Perez handed Morgan the title belt, allowing Morgan to strike Vaquer and hit Oblivion to retain.
- Saturday Night in Santiago: Pearce officially booked the rematch with Lynch officiating, setting up Vaquer’s triumphant title win.
