WWE has officially published digital footage from Friday night, releasing an unseen WWE backstage SmackDown segment across its social media channels. The exclusive clip captures a chaotic exchange between General Manager Nick Aldis, Blake Monroe, The Miz, and Kit Wilson following the latest broadcast.
Bizarre Backstage Moments & A Bag Of Teeth
The released footage centers on Monroe confronting Aldis while presenting the General Manager with a small bag containing her own teeth, which were knocked out during a recent attack by Giulia.
Addressing Aldis directly, Monroe called for managerial intervention:
“I have something for you. Yeah, a little gift. Those are my teeth. And you can thank Giulia for that. Last week, I was ready to have my debut. It had been months, and I still haven’t had a match. And I was so ready. And Giulia attacked me from the right, from the left, like a coward. People like Giulia deserve consequences. And I trust, as GM, you will do the right thing.”
The segment featured several additional character beats that quickly caught the attention of fans online:
- The Miz was captured in the background planking across office furniture, mirroring the recent antics of Johnny Gargano.
- Kit Wilson appeared beside them wearing a formal dress shirt and tie tucked directly into gym shorts.
- Wilson attempted to leverage Miz’s planking into a title shot, though Aldis clarified that CM Punk was responsible for Gargano’s championship opportunity.
Escalating Feud Delays Official In-Ring Debut
Despite her continued presence in digital and backstage segments, Monroe has yet to officially wrestle her first match on the main roster.
Her rivalry with Giulia has repeatedly prevented the bell from ringing. On the August 21 edition of SmackDown in Toronto, Monroe ambushed Giulia prior to the match. Giulia retaliated at the August 28 taping in Cleveland, attacking Monroe before their rescheduled bout could begin and keeping both competitors out of official competition.
