Former WWE NXT Women’s Champion Mandy Rose (Amanda Saccomanno) has officially opened the door to a potential return to professional wrestling.
Nearly four years after her abrupt departure from WWE in December 2022 due to her FanTime content, Rose made an appearance on TMZ’s Inside The Ring. When asked if she would consider taking a phone call from All Elite Wrestling, Rose made it clear that her willingness to listen extends across the entire industry landscape.
“I Would Always Take The Call”
Addressing her current stance on a return, Rose explained that while she would be open to discussions with AEW, WWE, or TNA, any negotiations would have to reflect the business mogul and person she has become since leaving the ring:
“For sure. I would take any call, whether it was AEW, WWE, TNA. It doesn’t matter where it’s from. I would always take the call. What would be different would be the conversation I have with whichever company it would be. Because it would be about the Mandy Rose today, and it wouldn’t be about the Mandy Rose five years ago. I think that’s what’s so important because I’ve grown. I’ve been very successful these past few years, especially being out of WWE. I think I’m in a different headspace. I’m in a different mindset of what I want to do, how I want to portray the rest of my career and also what I want to do to my body.”
Managerial Roles vs. In-Ring Competition
Rose elaborated that a wrestling comeback wouldn’t necessarily require taking full-time bumps inside the squared circle. With her background and star power, she noted that stepping into a managerial role is just as appealing as lacing up her boots:
“We all know that you can get beat up and work a managerial position or anything like that. I would totally not be opposed to either as well because I wouldn’t be opposed to maybe getting back in the ring one day. I always just say ‘never say never’ because I feel like you never know how you’re going to feel in a certain timeframe. Maybe there is a day that I’m like, ‘I really feel like getting back in the ring.’ I’m like, ‘Why not?’ I’m still young. I still take care of myself really well. That’s why I always say, never say never.”
Since her exit from WWE—where she ended a dominant 413-day reign as NXT Women’s Champion—Rose has built a massive financial empire through personal branding, modeling, and digital content creation.
