LA Knight Qualifies for Money in the Bank Ladder Match – LA Knight is officially heading to WWE Money in the Bank after securing a hard-fought victory in a triple threat qualifier on the May 23rd episode of WWE SmackDown.
Knight battled Aleister Black and Shinsuke Nakamura in a fast-paced match with high stakes, as all three Superstars looked to punch their ticket to the upcoming premium live event. In the final moments, Black connected with Black Mass on Nakamura, appearing to have the match in hand. However, Knight seized the opportunity by tossing Black out of the ring and pinning a downed Nakamura to score the win.
With this victory, Knight becomes the second official entrant in the 2025 Men’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match, joining Solo Sikoa. The event will take place on Saturday, June 7th.
Money in the Bank has often been seen as a launchpad for future world champions, and Knight’s inclusion immediately makes him a top threat to claim the coveted briefcase. Known for his charisma and in-ring explosiveness, Knight will look to finally break through to the main event scene with a potential guaranteed title shot on the line.
More qualifying matches are expected to take place on upcoming episodes of RAW and SmackDown as the men’s field continues to take shape.
