First Match Announced for WWE x AAA Worlds Collide – WWE has officially announced the first match for the upcoming WWE x AAA Worlds Collide event, set to take place at the Kia Forum in Los Angeles, California on Saturday, June 7th at 3 PM EST.
Legado Del Fantasma—represented by Santos Escobar, Berto, and Angel—will face off against AAA stars Psycho Clown, Pagano, and El Hijo del Dr. Wagner Jr. in six-man tag team action.
The match was revealed during a segment that aired on the May 23rd episode of WWE SmackDown. In the video, Escobar spoke to Angel and Berto about the importance of unity and pride as they prepare to represent WWE against one of AAA’s top trios. He declared that this is their chance to stand together and prove they are the best, not just as individuals but as a family. Angel quickly agreed, showing enthusiasm for the opportunity, while Berto appeared hesitant and unsure, creating some early tension heading into the bout.
The WWE x AAA Worlds Collide event marks the first cross-branded showcase since WWE’s official acquisition of AAA in April. This inaugural collaboration is expected to feature high-profile talent from both companies and further WWE’s push into the Latin American market.
