Kevin Nash Suggests Tony Khan May Be on Autism Spectrum Amid Online Criticism – WWE Hall of Famer Kevin Nash has shared his perspective on the recent online controversy surrounding AEW President Tony Khan. During a new episode of his Kliq This podcast, Nash addressed a now-deleted social media post from NXT star Je’Von Evans, who referred to Khan as a “crackhead.”
Nash pushed back on Evans’ derogatory comment and speculated that Khan’s behavior might be misinterpreted. He raised the possibility that Khan could be on the autism spectrum, based on Khan’s demeanor and public presence.
“Number one, he’s autistic. You have to give him a little bit of slack. I mean, I’m serious, man. I had an autistic kid. At what point of the spectrum is he on? I’ve never sat down and had a conversation with the guy,” Nash said on the podcast.
When his co-host questioned whether there was any confirmation of Khan being on the spectrum, Nash clarified that he was not making a formal diagnosis, but rather considering the behavioral possibilities. “I’m sorry. Okay, if you’re going to pick between his actions and say, ‘He’s probably on the spectrum’, as is Elon Musk, or is he just another billionaire crackhead? Which one would you tend to believe?” he added.
The comments arrive in the wake of heightened scrutiny over Tony Khan’s recent Twitter activity and promotional decisions. While some in the wrestling community have praised Khan’s passion and commitment to AEW, others have criticized his online persona and booking style.
As of this writing, neither Khan nor AEW has responded publicly to Nash’s remarks.
