Shotzi and Dani Palmer Exit WWE – Two more names have apparently quietly departed WWE, with Shotzi being moved to the alumni section of WWE.com and Dani Palmer announcing the end of her wrestling career in a farewell post.
Another pair of WWE talents appear to be finished with the company, marking the latest in a series of quiet departures.
Shotzi Moved to Alumni Section
Shotzi has been moved to the alumni section of WWE’s official website. While her profile still displays the NXT logo, the update suggests her time with WWE has come to an end. Shotzi had been recovering from an ACL injury that sidelined her for much of 2024. She returned briefly to WWE NXT earlier this year, with her last televised match airing on the February 19 episode of WWE Speed. Prior to that, she wrestled on the January 28 episode of WWE NXT. She also made an appearance at NXT Stand & Deliver, where she accompanied Tatum Paxley and Gigi Dolin to the ring.
Shotzi originally signed with WWE in 2019 after impressing in EVOLVE and on the independent circuit. During her WWE career, she captured the NXT Women’s Tag Team Championship alongside Ember Moon (now Athena in AEW). She also competed in several high-profile matches, including the Royal Rumble and WarGames.
Shotzi recently posted a cryptic promo to social media discussing her evolution and hinting at new beginnings, though she did not explicitly confirm her WWE exit.
Dani Palmer Announces Retirement
Meanwhile, Dani Palmer has confirmed that she is stepping away from professional wrestling. In a new Instagram post, Palmer thanked WWE for bringing her “the love of her life” and stated that she is ending her athletic career. Palmer had been signed with WWE since 2022 but struggled with injuries throughout her run. Her last match aired on WWE Evolve on February 21, 2025.
Palmer’s exit appears to be on her own terms, with the post signaling her retirement rather than a release. WWE has not officially commented on her status.
These changes come amid a period of talent movement within WWE as the company reshuffles its roster in the lead-up to post-Backlash programming shifts. With Palmer stepping away entirely and Shotzi’s profile quietly updated, fans are left waiting to see what’s next for both women.
