Kiana James Expected to Return Soon – Kiana James may be on the verge of returning to WWE television, nearly eleven months after suffering a leg injury that halted her main roster debut shortly after being called up from NXT.
James was drafted to Monday Night RAW in May 2024 but saw her momentum disrupted in June of that year after just two televised matches. Her final match before the injury occurred on the June 17, 2024 edition of RAW, where she competed in a triple threat bout against current WWE Women’s World Champion IYO SKY and Zelina Vega in a Money in the Bank qualifying match. Prior to that, she had secured a victory over Natalya in a singles match, showcasing her potential as a rising talent.
According to the latest episode of WrestleVotes Radio, James is nearing medical clearance to return to the ring. The report stated: “According to sources, we are told Kianna James should be on her way back soon as she’s on the verge, if not already, of being medically cleared to compete.”
The update comes as WWE’s women’s division continues to evolve, with several returns, debuts, and ongoing storylines across both RAW and SmackDown. James’ impending return adds another name to the mix and could reignite her momentum from last year.
While no official return date has been confirmed, James’ near-clearance suggests she could be back in action as soon as WWE determines a spot for her reintroduction—potentially in time for a summer storyline push or a post-Money in the Bank program.
Fans will be watching closely to see how WWE reintroduces James, especially given her limited exposure on the main roster and the depth of talent in the current RAW women’s division.
