NXT Europe Launch Rumored as WWE Ramps Up Global Recruitment – There’s renewed buzz within WWE about the long-anticipated launch of NXT Europe, and it’s gaining traction following a wave of international recruitment efforts.
According to PWInsider, WWE has intensified its global talent search in recent months, with many in the company believing this is part of a strategic move to officially kick off NXT Europe later this year. While WWE has yet to confirm a timeline, internal chatter suggests preparations for the brand’s launch are well underway.
WWE held tryouts in the UK during its March 2025 European tour, which have already yielded promising results. Reports indicate that WWE is close to signing several standout performers from those sessions, including Spain’s Zozaya, French high-flyer Aigle Blanc, and Italy’s Mike D. Vecchio. Fightful Select added that contracts for some of these athletes are expected to be finalized by September, aligning with WWE’s usual onboarding schedule for international recruits.
NXT Europe has been in discussion since WWE shuttered NXT UK in 2022. The goal is to create a new European developmental territory that mirrors the structure of NXT in the U.S., providing a consistent pipeline of talent from across the continent.
If launched, NXT Europe could become a critical part of WWE’s global strategy, offering European athletes a home base and helping the company further localize its international presence. Official details are still pending, but with new talent signings ramping up, the wheels appear to be in motion.
