WWE Nearing Deals with More European Talent Following UK Tryouts – WWE’s international recruitment drive continues to build momentum, with more names emerging from the company’s UK Tryouts held earlier this year. After initial reports spotlighted Spanish standout Zozaya, two additional European wrestlers—Aigle Blanc from France and Mike D. Vecchio, who has competed extensively in Belgium, Germany, and Italy—are reportedly on the verge of inking deals with WWE.
According to Cultaholic, both Blanc and Vecchio are expected to sign with WWE imminently. Fightful Select later confirmed the report, adding that the pair are close to formalizing their agreements and could report to the company’s NXT brand as early as September.
Zozaya, who has garnered strong internal interest, is also expected to make his WWE signing official in September. This timing lines up with WWE’s broader strategy to onboard international recruits in the fall following visa processing and training schedules. Sources indicate that WWE scout James Amner is heading up negotiations for this batch of signings.
At least one additional talent from the UK tryout is believed to be joining this group, though their identity has not yet been revealed. As of now, there’s no confirmation that any UK-based wrestlers have secured immediate deals, though more announcements may follow in the coming weeks.
Another notable name from the tryouts, Goldenboy Santos, remains on WWE’s radar. However, due to an undisclosed injury, he is not expected to sign at this time. WWE reportedly remains interested in Santos pending his recovery.
