Stephanie Vaquer Forces Triple Threat Title Defense For Money In The Bank

The Women’s World Championship picture erupted into total chaos during the October 5 episode of WWE RAW. What was meant to decide a single challenger for Women’s World Champion Stephanie Vaquer instead resulted in a wild breakdown that transformed the title scene for WWE Money in the Bank.

Becky Lynch and Liv Morgan clashed in a high-stakes Number One Contender’s Match, with both former champions seeking a clear shot at Vaquer’s title.

Interferences And Chaos Derail Contenders Match

After a competitive back-and-forth contest, outside interference completely derailed the bout. Raquel Rodriguez made her way to ringside, creating a distraction that allowed Roxanne Perez to pull Lynch’s leg into the ring post. Morgan capitalised with a sunset-flip powerbomb for a near fall, but when Lynch countered with a uranage, Rodriguez put Morgan’s foot on the ropes to break the pin.

Lynch fought back against the interference, hitting Rodriguez with a baseball slide before climbing the turnbuckle. Perez distracted the referee, allowing Rodriguez to yank Lynch off the ropes.

Reigning Women’s World Champion Stephanie Vaquer suddenly arrived at ringside, taking out Perez with a decisive superkick. The referee then spotted Rodriguez holding Morgan’s title belt and ejected both Rodriguez and Perez from ringside.

In the ensuing confusion, Lynch accidentally knocked Vaquer off the apron. As Lynch attempted a rollup on Morgan, Vaquer stormed into the ring and launched a vicious attack on both competitors, leaving the referee no choice but to rule the match a no contest.

Adam Pearce Makes Triple Threat Official

Following the match, Vaquer continued her assault, executing running knees on both Lynch and Morgan in the corner.

Grabbing a microphone, the champion called RAW General Manager Adam Pearce down to the ring. Vaquer made her intentions clear, declaring that she wanted to face both women at once. When Pearce asked if she was demanding a Triple Threat Match for the title at Money in the Bank, Vaquer confirmed without hesitation. Pearce agreed on the spot, making the championship bout official.

Vaquer capped off her dominant display by ascending the turnbuckles and landing a corkscrew moonsault onto both Lynch and Morgan. She will now defend her Women’s World Championship against both superstars in a Triple Threat Match at WWE Money in the Bank.
