The latest Brie Bella injury update reveals that her in-ring return remains far off as she continues physical therapy for a broken scapula.
Former WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion Brie Bella has provided an update regarding her recovery process after suffering a broken scapula at SummerSlam. Electing against surgery, Bella was initially given a timeline of three to six months for recovery and continues to navigate her physical rehabilitation.
Speaking on The Nikki & Brie Show, Bella shared details regarding her recent medical evaluations and current physical limitations as she waits for the bone structure to fully heal.
“Just got a CT scan. They sent it to WWE. I’m feeling strong. I’m feeling good. I’m still not cleared to do any of the exercises I would like to do, and I will admit there are times where I will go to shut a window and I get really bad spasms or sharp pains. I’m still really cautious about picking up things that are heavier than five pounds. I’m very smart with that. As of right now, I’m still in physical therapy three days a week doing basic exercises, but really trying to strengthen the muscles around the scapula,” she said.
Bella noted that she must wait for the bones to fuse completely before advancing to the next phase of her rehabilitation program. Addressing her timeline for a potential in-ring return, she emphasized a cautious approach.
“I still think my days to be in-ring are still far, unfortunately. I’m not the type of girl to rush things.”
While Brie remains sidelined, her sister Nikki Bella continues her regular appearances on WWE television, where she remains embroiled in an ongoing rivalry against Paige following the fallout of their alliance split at SummerSlam.
An official timeframe for Brie Bella’s return to active competition has not been announced by WWE.
