8/19 WWE RAW Results – We are live from the FLA Live Arena in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, as Randy Orton makes his way to the ring to start the show.
We see what happened last week with Randy Orton and Gunther, with an assist from Drew McIntyre.
Randy says they sound mighty froggy tonight. He says it has been a minute since he has done this and he wants to soak it all in as he welcomes everyone to Raw. He says the next time he makes that introduction, he will be a 15 time champion. This match in Berlin is for the World Championship. It could have been about the legacy of the title, but Gunther had to make it personal. That makes Randy want to beat Gunther’s ass more. When Gunther couldn’t help but talk to his father and grandfather, then he turned his back on him and Randy says he had to hit Gunther with an RKO.
Gunther’s music plays and he makes his way to the ring.
Gunther says all he needs Randy to do, as well as the people in the building, is to . . . shut up and listen to what he has to say. He tells Randy to look at him. He wants to know what Randy is celebrating here. Is he celebrating Gunther turning his back on Randy and being given an RKO? He tells Randy to celebrate it because it is the only celebrating he is going to do. The only thing you achieved is that you made this very very personal.
Gunther wants to know why the people are chanting USA. Is this how you verbalize support for Orton? If you are hyped to see Randy give him another RKO, he came here to let Randy know that it is never going to happen again. Since everybody is aware of how dangerous the RKO is, he is left with no other option than to leave Randy a bloody mess. He will leave Randy exposed for what he is. A very successful, but very underachieving one trick pony.
Randy says Gunther keeps running his mouth and it will be so much more unconfortable flying to Berlin. Eight hours with a size fifteen boot shoved up your ass. That is a size 15 boot double extra wide.
Gunther puts the belt down between him and Randy. Ludwig Kaiser turns Randy around and Randy punches Kaiser and clotheslines him over the top rope to the floor. Orton avoids a chop and Kaiser clips Orton and Gunther with a clothesline.
– We take a look at Sheamus and Pete Dunne building into tonight’s match.
Backstage:
Jackie Redmond is with Sheamus in Gorilla and she asks him about his match against Pete Dunne and his injured hand. Sheamus mentions that Dunne attacked his hand with his own shillelagh and he says there will be retribution. He knows that Pete will come after his hand but he has travelled many miles and has a lot of tricks for Dunne.
We go to commercial.
– We are back and Randy Orton faces Ludwig Kaiser in the main event.
Sheamus vs. Pete Dunne
Sheamus misses a Brogue Kick when Dunne moves Sheamus blocks a forearm and connects with a short arm clothesline. Dunne goes to the ropes and then he kicks and chops Sheamus. Dunne with a side head lock and Sheamus with a reversal. Sheamus catches Dunne on a leap frog and Sheamus with an Alabama Slam. Dunne goes to the apron and he kicks Sheamus. Dunne with a hammer lock DDT and he works on the injured hand and applies an arm bar. Dunne with a triangle. Sheamus with a one arm back breaker. Dunne goes back to the apron. Sheamus with a shoulder tackle that knocks Dunne off the apron and into the announce table.
Sheamus sends Dunne into the announce table and connects with a European uppercut. Dunne kicks Sheamus and then he drop kicks Sheamus into the ring steps. Dunne stomps on the hand on the ring steps.
We go to commercial.
We are back and Dunne gets a near fall. Dunne kicks Sheamus a few times in the head and he punches and chops Sheamus. Sheamus wants more and Pete obliges. Sheamus punches Dunne and Dunne slaps Sheamus. Sheamus calls him a bitch and Dunne with a forearm. Dunne with more punches. Dunne runs into a double sledge and Sheamus follows with a clothesline and another one in the corner. Sheamus with a power slam. Sheamus goes for the forearms on the apron but Dunne grabs the hand and pulls at the fingers. Dunne with many forearms to Sheamus. Sheamus gets back up and he emerges from behind Dunne and Shamus with the forearms to Dunne this time.
Sheamus hangs Dunne on the top rope and he hits more forearms to the chest. Dunne with an enzuigiri to stop a Brogue Kick from Sheamus. Sheamus with a running knee to Dunne for a near fall. Sheamus gets Dunne up and he goes to the turnbuckles for a Super Air Raid Cash but Dunne escapes and he hits a sit out power bomb for a near fall. Dunne grabs the injured hand and puts it in the turnbuckle pad. Dunne punches Sheamus and the referee pulls him off. Dunne with a boot to the turnbuckle. Sheamus pulls the turnbuckle and pad off and hits a Brogue Kick for the three count.
Winner: Sheamus
Backstage:
The New Day and Odyssey Jones are in LOCKER ROOM preparing for their match and Jones leaves. Kofi says that Woods appears to be a bit off the last few weeks. Woods says people have tried to break them up before and will continue to try it. Woods says he wishes that Kofi had talked to him about Jones because it feels like they are trying to replace Big E. Kofi talks about how things were at the start but they got through it because they have each other. Kofi says they are family. Odyssey is in the same boat they were and he needs veterans to help him.
We go to commercial.
– We are back with a look at footage from Fanatics Fest.
– We have a video package for Bron Breakker.
– Cole reminds us of what happened between Maxxine Dupri and Ivy Nile last week.
Backstage:
Ivy Nile is in WEIGHT ROOM and Chad says his vision has been realized. He has a real family. He says Ivy made the best decision of her life getting rid of that dead weight. Ivy says she gave Maxxine a chance but she got what was coming to her. If Maxxine can’t realize that she deserves to be dealt with. Chad says after Ivy is done with Maxxine, they can deal with the Wyatts.
We go to commercial.
Ivy Nile vs. Maxxine Dupri
Dupri cheap shots Ivy with a drop kick to the back and she sends Ivy into the ringside barrier. Dupri with a fisherman’s suplex on the floor. Dupri sends Ivy over the announce table. Dupri sends Ivy back into the ring.
Ivy with a kick and punches when they get back into the ring but the referee has not started the match.
The lights go out and it is Wyatts time. Smoke fills the ring and the piano plays. Ivy is alone in the ring and she is a bit scared of what might happen. Nikki shows up behind her and Chad, Julius, and Brutus stand between them.
Rowan, Dexter, and Gacy appear on the apron. Nikki with a Thesz Press and punches. The other three men attack the Creeds and Gable. Gable is alone in the ring with Rowan, Lumis, and Gacy. Nikki stops Chad’s escape. Bo with Sister Abigail to Chad. Rowan pulls Chad into the center of the ring and they stand and kneel over him.
– We see CM Punk walking in the back as we go to commercial.
We are back and Damian Priest says for the last two weeks this lame version of the Judgment Day tried to take them out. For the last two weeks, the Terror Twins stood their ground while the others ran. For Liv and Dom, your days are numbered. At the Bash in Berlin you get your punishment. Rhea says there is nowhere to run and nowhere to hide. Rhea says Dom will find out that they kept Dom safe. Liv, you say you have taken everything from her, but you have become everything you hate… a discount Rhea Ripley. They will put you through the mat.
In tha Arena:
CM Punk makes his way to the ring.
Punk says before they get started, he congratulates the Panthers for winning the Stanley Cup. He says Roberto Luongo is in the house. He asks how he looks tonight.
Punk says he has some news for the people but he wants to tell a story. He says he spent some time in New York over the weekend. Punk says someone asked him about WWE’s hot streak and why does Punk think they are on a hot streak. Punk says the answer is easy. It is you. Why are they on a hot streak. It is you. It is the people in the 300 level. Punk says he met a lot of great fans. The first person in line over the weekend was in a wheelchair and she told him she just beat cancer and Punk was a source of strength in her battle. Punk says it makes him think of friends who are dealing with cancer. Punk says another fan told him how she flew 15 hours to meet him. Another fan had a sign saying they traveled from Jordan to meet Punk.
Punk says it means a lot for the people in the back and it means a lot to him. Punk says it is fans like you who drive him. It is fans like you and the love you show. When fans hand him bracelets they made themselves, it might not mean a lot for some. He says he is Taylor Swift for men. He mentions Drew taking the bracelet of his unconscious body in Chicago.
Punk mentions Drew and he says that Drew hates him and wants nothing to do with him. Drew says he is done with Punk, but Drew made it personal. Punk says he thinks Drew loves him and he is obsessed with him. He wears a bracelet with Punk’s wife’s name on it.
Punk says it is time to announce his news. Punk says he made Drew a bracelet and he talked to Adam Pearce. Unless Drew is chicken, at Bash in Berlin, a Strap Match. That means he will be tethered to Drew, wrist to wrist, and you have to carry your opponent to all four turnbuckles to win. Punk says he wants a strap match so he can whip this bitch. He wants to be able to take his bracelet back and leave Drew with scars so he will never forget CM Punk.
Drew McIntyre’s music plays and he makes his way to the stage.
Drew says he has been thinking all week about what he is going to do to Punk. He says Punk embarrassed him last week and Drew says he had fantasies about what he would do to Punk. You challenge him to a strap match. He asks Punk if he started drinking. Drew accepts the match. He says that is next week, but he can’t wait a week for the receipt for the marks on his back. He asks the people if they want a tease for next week. Drew tells Punk to lose the strap so they can give everyone a show.
Punk says they gave him a teaser last week so he wants to give them the full motion picture this week. He says he will give Drew the strap if Drew gives him the bracelet.
Drew looks at his wrist and he takes off the bracelet and he laughs and says no. He says Punk is a liar so he could attack him from behind. You will whip him like a dog if he gets in the ring. April and Larry are happier at home with Drew McIntyre.
Punk says unlike Berlin being safe, Punk won’t be attached to Drew but Drew will be attached to him.
Backstage:
Liv tells Damian and Rhea they must be out of their mind if they think they can win in Berlin. She says no one lays a finger on Dom. She says they will be on top, which is where they like it. Dom says he doesn’t want to wait for Berlin. He wants to face Damian. He tells Priest to leave Rhea in the back and he will leave the Judgment Day and Liv in the back.

New Day (Xavier Woods & Kofi Kingston) & Odyssey Jones vs. Karrion Kross & AOP (Rezar & Akam)
Woods and Kross start things off and Kross wants Kofi so Kofi tags himself in. Kofi with punches to Kross and Kross pushes Kofi away and Kofi with a splash into the corner. Kofi with another splash and he hits a third one. Kross with a forearm and he sends Kofi into the turnbuckles. Kross with a forearm and Irish whip but Kofi with a drop kick. Scarlett grabs Kofi’s leg while the referee is distracted and Kross with a back breaker and a Death Valley Driver. Rezar tags in and he gets Kofi up and hits a running Death Valley Driver into the corner.
We go to commercial.
We are back and Kross kicks Kofi after tagging back in. Kofi with a forearm but Kross holds on to prevent the tag. Kross with an exploder and he knocks Jones off the apron. Akam tags in and he misses a shoulder in the corner after Kofi escapes a suplex attempt. Jones tags in and Woods is not happy. Jones with body blocks to everyone and an elbow into the corner on Kross. Akam and Rezar with forearms and Jones with a double clothesline. Jones with a diving head butt to Akam for a near fall. Kross with a running clothesline to Jones. Kofi with Trouble in Paradise to Kross. Rezar picks up Kofi by the throat and hits an overhead belly-to-belly suplex. Woods with an elbow but Rezar with a suplex.
Jones with a Black Hole Slam for the three count.
Winners: Odyssey Jones, Kofi Kingston, and Xavier Woods
Backstage:
We go to Priest and Rhea in the back and Rhea tells Priest he believes in him against Dom, but she says they are slimy. Priest says he knows it is a trap but to get his hands on any of those cowards will be worth it. He says he walked through a minefield with Rhea so as long as there is a breath in either of them, they continue until they take judgment on them.
– We take a look at Afa with a video package.

Backstage:
Adam Pearce tells Miz the more he thinks about it the more he doesn’t like it. Pearce says that Miz asked for this match and he doesn’t need to have this match unless you really want it. Miz says he would rather have Pearce suspend Reed and ban the tsunami but he hurt R Truth and he is one of his friends and he doesn’t have that many friends. He says he needs to do this.
Bronson Reed vs. The Miz in a No Disqualification Match
They exchange some punches before the referee starts the match. Reed with a running body tackle and Miz falls to the floor. Miz hits Reed with a chair a few times. Reed with a clothesline to the chair to get it out of Miz’ hand. Reed with a clothesline and Miz sends Reed into the ring post. Miz throws chairs into the ring while the fans want something a bit more woody. Miz gets kendo sticks and a trash can from under the ring. The only thing left is to make the crowd happy. Miz hits Reed with a kendo stick but Reed blocks a second one and he head butts Miz and breaks the kendo stick. Reed picks up Miz and slams him onto a trash can. Reed hits Miz in the back with what is left of the trash can.
Reed sits down in a chair with his boot on Miz’ head.
We go to commercial.
We are back and Reed with a head butt but he charges into the corner and misses Miz but hits a chair wedged into the turnbuckles. Miz with a boot to Reed and a tornado DDT onto a chair for a near fall. Miz gets a kendo stick and he hits Reed a few times with it. Miz sets for an Awesome Clothesline with the kendo stick and hits it. Reed catches Miz off the ropes and Reed goes for a Death Valley Driver through the table but Miz escapes. Miz with kicks and Reed with a clothesline. Reed goes for a power bomb but Miz escapes. Reed gets Miz up after blocking a Skull Crushing Finale. Reed with a Death Valley Driver through the table and he hits Tsunami for the three count.
Winner: Bronson Reed
After the match, Reed goes up top and Braun Strowman’s music plays. Reed goes to the apron and Strowman gets in the ring. Reed smiles.
Backstage:
Jackie is in the back with Sheamus and she asks about the hand. Sheamus says Pete went toe to toe with him tonight and put on a banger. Ludwig Kaiser shows up and he asks why is Jackie talking to the opening act when the man who is going to main event is here. The man who will beat Randy Orton.
Sheamus asks Jackie to leave. Kaiser says when he is done with Randy, he will come back to Sheamus to settle this once and for all. Sheamus says anytime you want to finish the trilogy you know where to find him. Sheamus says he will be around the corner having a pint watching Kaiser take an RKO tonight.
– Dominik Mysterio walks in BACK and Liv stops to give him some hope before facing Damian Priest.

Backstage:
Cathy Kelley is with Bron Breakker and she congratulates him on his victory and his future plans. Bron says he heard that there will be a tournament to determine his next challenger. Pearce cannot stand that Bron is progressing through the division that he wants to slow Bron down. He says it is not his fault he is a badass and a genetic freak. He says it is not his fault that the dogs are barking in every city. He says it is not his fault he won this title. To the poor soul who wins this tournament and stands before him for the title. He says he will spear you through the floor and give you the beating of a lifetime.
Damian Priest vs. Dominik Mysterio
Carlito, JD, and Finn try to attack Priest before he gets to the ring and that does not work.
Priest sends JD into the ring post and Carlito makes the save for Finn but Priest kicks Carlito and JD.
Rhea Ripley shows up behind Dom and Dom turns around and Rhea blows a kick to Dom and Dom turns around to see Priest.
Rhea with a head butt and Dom with a forearm. Rhea adjusts the announce table and she is enjoying it. Priest sends Dom to the floor. Rhea sets for RipTide through the table but Liv Morgan hits Rhea in the back with a chair.
The men attack Priest while Liv sends Rhea into the announce table. Dom tells Liv to make Rhea watch while Carlito gives Damian a lungblower. They hold Priest to watch Rhea being sent into the ring post and announce table. Liv sends Rhea into the ring steps and the ring post one more time. Finn goes up top and he hits Coup de Grace on Priest. Liv hits ObLIVion on Rhea. Dom goes up top for a frog splash on Priest.

Backstage:
We are back with a Moments Ago Moment of what happened when we were supposed to have a match between Dominik Mysterio and Damian Priest.
The Judgment Day are in BACK and Finn says that is a little taste and sample of what is going to happen to you in Berlin. JD says Priest was champion because of the Judgment Day and he is not champion because of them. Liv says that she will make Rhea her bitch in Berlin.
WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships: Unholy Union (Alba Fyre & Isla Dawn) (c) vs. Damage CTRL (Kairi Sane & IYO SKY) vs. Pure Fusion Collective (Shayna Baszler & Zoey Stark)
Everyone throws forearms before the match starts and she starts the match when it goes down to Iyo and Shayna. Iyo with a head scissors to Shayna and she kicks her to the floor. Iyo and Kairi play to the crowd and Iyo send Kairi to the floor for a rebound splash onto Shayna and Zoey while Iyo hits a suicide dive onto Alba and Dawn.
We go to commercial.
We are back and Zoey chokes Sane in the ropes and Sonya punches Sane. Sane counters a suplex with a DDT and both women are down. Shayna tags in and keeps Kairi from making the tag and Sane with an enzuigiri. Fyre and Sky tag in and Iyo with many shotei. Iyo with an Iris whip to Alba and an elbow into the corner. Iyo kicks Dawn and Shayna hits Alba in the corner and falls into place. Iyo with a springboard double missile drop kick to Dawn and Zoey. Iyo with running double knees into each corner until Alba is the only one left in thte ring. Alba escapes a power bomb and Alba with a kick and she goes u top. Kairi stops Alba and Iyo sets for a superplex and Sane tags in for a double superplex. They hit the double superplex before anyone can turn it into a tower of doom. Dawn makes the save on the cover. Iyo takes care of Dawn.
Sane with a spear to Fyre after Fyre kicks Sonya off the apron. Sane sets for the Sliding D but turns it into a running forearm on Sonya. Zoey tags in and kicks Sane. Zoey with a rolling Death Valley Driver to Iyo and Shayna with a running knee. Sane with a cross body to Zoey and Shayna. Shayna with a forearm to Sane and Sane fires back. They go back and forth and Shayna with the advantage and kicks. Sane with a forearm but Shayna with a kirifuta clutch after pulling the hair. Sane with a back fist and Shayna is down. Sane goes up top and Dawn makes the tag. Shayna gets the boots up to stop Sane. Fyre tags in and Dawn with a lungblower and a swanton from Fyre for the three count.
Winners: Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn (retain championship)
– Gunther gives Ludwig Kaiser PEP TALK in LOCKER ROOM. We see Randy Orton in HALLWAY preparing for the match.

Backstage:
We are back and Jackie Redmond is with Jey Uso. She asks about Jey and Sami and whether they will reunite. Jey says Sami had to take some time to clear his head. He says he will be back with a vengeance. He says if he can’t be champion, it doesn’t mean that Jey can’t. Jey says if Bron needs a challenger, he has put his name in the tournament.
– Michael mentions that Pat will be leaving Raw, for a few months, because of the football season. Before he leaves, we have a video package.
– Next week, Braun Strowman faces Bronson Reed. The Intercontinental Title Contender Tournament Starts. Uncle Howdy faces Chad Gable.
Randy Orton vs. Ludwig Kaiser
They lock up and Orton with a side head lock and a shoulder tackle. Orton with a waist lock. Orton with a side head lock take down. Kaiser backs Orton into the corner and Kaiser with a break but it sets up a kick and punch followed by a chop. Kaiser pie faces Orton and Orton with a punch and a fallaway slam. Orton with a European uppercut and another one in the corner. Orton with another European uppercut. Orton with punches in the corner and he finishes the sequence with a European uppercut. Kaiser with European uppercuts and a chop on the floor. Orton with a chop and he sends Kaiser into the announce table. Orton sets for a back drop driver onto the announce table, but Gunther shows up in the time keeper’s area and he goes over the ringside barrier and Orton lets Kaiser free. Kaiser clips Orton and Kaiser breaks the count and he gives Orton a back drop driver onto the announce table.
Kaiser sends Orton into the ring steps. Kaiser returns to the ring and he goes to the floor for the wacky semi-lap drop kick into the steps.
We go to commercial.
We are back and Kaiser kicks Orton’s injured leg. Kaiser with an elbow drop to the leg and he works on the knee. Kaiser rubs his fist into the knee to aggravate the injury. Kaiser with a springboard splash to the leg a few times. Kaiser goes for a third splash and Orton kicks Kaiser over the top rope to the floor. Orton with punches to Kaiser and a head butt. Kaiser with a punch and he sends Orton into the ring steps and follows with a punch. Kaiser sets for another wacky semi-lap drop kick but Orton recovers with a clothesline. Orton sets for a back drop driver onto the announce table and he connects. Orton with a second one.
Orton connects with a third one and Gunther has some words for Randy. Randy hits a fourth one. Orton returns to the ring to break the count but he returns to the floor. Orton sends Kaiser back into the ring and Orton ducks a clothesline and he hits a power slam. Kaiser rolls to the apron and Randy sets for the IEDDT but Kaiser drops Orton on the top rope and he connects with a kick for a near fall. Kaiser goes to the turnbuckles and Orton with a punch. Orton with a head butt and he sets for a superplex. Orton hits the superplex and then he sends Kaiser to the apron for the IEDDT and he hits it. Orton twists to the mat for an RKO and he punches the mat and Kaiser with a rollup for a near fall. Orton hits the RKO for the three count.
Winner: Randy Orton
After the match, Gunther enters the ring and Orton with punches but Gunther with European uppercuts. Orton kicks Gunther and sends him into the turnbuckles a few times as we go to credits.
