Saraya Sparks WWE Return Speculation – Saraya has been absent from AEW television since October, but a recent social media post has fueled speculation about a possible return to WWE.
She previously stated that she was taking personal time off, and during an appearance on the Lightweights Podcast with Joe Vulpis, the former AEW Women’s Champion addressed her in-ring future. Saraya noted that she doesn’t believe AEW needs her at the moment.
Adding to the intrigue, Saraya recently suggested that her wrestling career may be winding down. Her AEW contract is set to expire later this year.
The speculation intensified after she posted a lyric from her old WWE theme song on X, writing, “Tear the stars out from the sky.” This led to an outpouring of fan comments, with many hoping this was a hint at a potential return to WWE.
During an interview with The Wrestling Classic, Saraya also said an announcement will be made when she debuts her new podcast, Rule Breaking.
“I do have my my new podcast that’s coming out,” she said. “And I’m going to be making a big announcement on the first one so I’m excited for people to find that out.”
When asked about a potential match against Mercedes Mone in the promotion, she said that she may not be around to wrestle her.
“We both wanted to, so we were just waiting for that trigger to be pulled, but I think she has other people that she has to wrestle for right now. I don’t know when that time would be. Unfortunately, I may not be there to be able to do that with her.”
“It should have happened a while ago but it is what it is. We wanted it but it hasn’t been the right time, I guess.”
At this time, Saraya has not confirmed any plans for her future, but with her contract nearing its end, the rumors continue to build.
