Tyler Bate Returns to WWE RAW – After months on the sidelines due to injury, Tyler Bate made his return to WWE RAW on March 31, reuniting with Pete Dunne as New Catch Republic to face The New Day in a losing effort.
Bate had been absent from WWE since July 2024, when Michael Cole announced on commentary that he was dealing with an injury. The former NXT UK Champion later confirmed on social media that he had suffered a torn left pectoral major and tendon, which required surgery. He spent the past several months rehabbing before finally making his in-ring return.
Before his injury, Bate and Dunne had been teaming together in NXT, where they last competed in the summer of 2024, securing a victory over Hank Walker & Tank Ledger. Their reunion on RAW signals a fresh start for New Catch Republic as they look to make an impact in WWE’s tag team division.
With his return, Bate adds more depth to the tag team scene, and his partnership with Dunne could lead to significant opportunities in the coming weeks.
