Deonna Purrazzo Comments on MJF and Britt Baker Backstage Incident

Deonna Purrazzo Comments on MJF and Britt Baker Backstage Incident – One of the most talked-about stories in AEW recently was the backstage confrontation between MJF and Britt Baker, which resulted in Baker being fined and temporarily suspended. The incident has sparked considerable discussion within the wrestling community, with many speculating about the state of AEW’s locker room.

AEW star Deonna Purrazzo provided some insight into the situation during a recent interview with Stephanie Chase. When asked about the similarities between the AEW and TNA locker rooms and whether the incident was as significant as it appeared, Purrazzo downplayed the severity of the situation.

“Very similar,” Purrazzo said when comparing the two locker rooms. “I think this was just one instance [MJF & Britt Baker] that sparked a lot of drama, and also kind of took on a life of its own. The rumor mill starts going and things aren’t as they were. People add their two cents and it makes it way bigger than it was. I think this was an isolated incident because everything else that I’ve experienced in this locker room is supportive, encouraging, and there’s a lot of camaraderie.”

Purrazzo emphasized that her overall experience in the AEW locker room has been positive, highlighting the camaraderie and supportive atmosphere that often goes unnoticed. “We just recently celebrated people’s birthdays and had birthday cakes and sang. I feel this locker room doesn’t get as much credit as it deserves for that type of camaraderie. I don’t know what it was like before. I can only speak to my experiences, but I feel like it doesn’t get enough credit as it deserves.”

Since the incident, Britt Baker has returned to AEW programming, and MJF was in action on the latest episode of Dynamite.
