WWE Announces July Supershow Events in Mexico Featuring Top WWE and Lucha Libre Stars – WWE has officially confirmed two major Supershow live events set for July 2025 in Mexico, marking a major push into the Latin American market following the company’s acquisition of AAA in April. The events will take place on Saturday, July 26 at Arena CDMX in Mexico City and Sunday, July 27 at Arena Monterrey in Monterrey.
These shows will feature a unique mix of WWE Superstars and AAA-affiliated luchadores, underscoring WWE’s commitment to integrating Mexican talent into its global brand. The promotional poster includes marquee names such as Cody Rhodes, Jey Uso, and Seth Rollins, alongside lucha legends and current AAA stars Rey Mysterio, Penta, and Rey Fenix.
Although billed as Supershow events — WWE’s term for non-televised live events — the magnitude of the lineup suggests these shows are being positioned as more than just house shows. The July dates come on the heels of May’s Worlds Collide event, which saw WWE and AAA co-promote a major card that drew international attention.
This new Supershow series represents WWE’s most direct effort yet to merge its roster with AAA’s talent pool in front of a core lucha libre fanbase. With Rey Mysterio playing a central role in WWE’s outreach to Hispanic audiences, and the inclusion of Penta and Fenix further solidifying AAA’s presence under the WWE umbrella, these events are expected to serve as a major litmus test for the merged brand’s success in Mexico.
Tickets are expected to go on sale soon, and fan interest is already high given the crossover appeal. As WWE continues to expand its global touring footprint, these Mexico dates could become a recurring fixture in the company’s calendar.
