WWE Planning Return to Mexico in July with Supershow in Monterrey – WWE is reportedly preparing to return to Mexico this summer with a new Supershow event scheduled for Sunday, July 27, 2025, at Arena Monterrey, according to fan reports from a local concert at the venue. While WWE has yet to make an official announcement, advertisements shown during the concert teased the company’s return, with tickets expected to go on sale Thursday, June 19.
The news was first circulated by LuchaBlog, who noted the advertisement as part of Arena Monterrey’s upcoming events. They also speculated that the July 27 date could serve as WWE’s version of TripleMania Regia, especially following the company’s acquisition of AAA on April 19, 2025. WWE has continued to incorporate the AAA brand into its international presence, and Monterrey has traditionally been home to some of AAA’s biggest events.
LuchaBlog also pointed out WWE’s touring pattern when visiting Mexico: Saturday shows in Mexico City, followed by Sunday shows in Monterrey. Based on that history, WWE may be planning a show for Arena Ciudad de Mexico on Saturday, July 26, although no announcement or advertisement has surfaced for that date yet.
The July 27 Supershow in Monterrey would mark WWE’s first return to Mexico since July 2024, when Cody Rhodes defended the WWE Championship against Santos Escobar during a successful two-night run that also featured the WWE debut of Stephanie Vaquer.
The “Supershow” name is typically used for WWE’s non-televised live events, often featuring top stars from both RAW and SmackDown. WWE currently has two other Supershows scheduled the week prior: July 19 in Corpus Christi, Texas, and July 20 in Edinburgh, Texas.
More details are expected once WWE officially confirms the tour stop, which could happen in the coming days.
