JBL Scheduled to Appear at Worlds Collide – WWE Hall of Famer John “Bradshaw” Layfield (JBL) is expected to be in attendance for the WWE x AAA: Worlds Collide event tomorrow, June 7, in Los Angeles, California. The news comes via PWInsider.com, which confirmed JBL is scheduled for the show, though his exact role remains undisclosed.
JBL’s presence adds a layer of intrigue to the first official crossover event between WWE and AAA, following WWE’s acquisition of the iconic Lucha Libre promotion in April 2025. While it remains to be seen whether JBL will appear on-camera, he has frequently taken part in WWE programming in recent years—most often as a guest commentator, pre-show analyst, or special appearance on panels during premium live events.
Given those past roles, it’s possible JBL could contribute to the Worlds Collide broadcast, which will air live on WWE’s YouTube channel. His long-time experience in commentary and analysis would make him a fitting addition to the broadcast team for such a high-profile event.
Interestingly, JBL has also worked with AAA in the past, making occasional appearances for the promotion and maintaining a positive relationship with figures from the Lucha Libre world. His history with both promotions could make him a valuable bridge as WWE and AAA officially begin this new phase of collaboration.
As of now, WWE has not formally announced JBL’s on-air role for the event. Whether he appears on commentary, in a backstage segment, or simply in an advisory role remains to be seen.
