Bayley Reveals She Was Never Personally Close With Becky Lynch Or Charlotte Flair – WWE Women’s Champion Bayley has shared rare personal insight into the behind-the-scenes dynamic of the Four Horsewomen — revealing she was never close with Charlotte Flair or Becky Lynch.
Speaking on a recent episode of Raw Recap, Bayley opened up about her real-life relationships with the rest of the faction, which also includes Mercedes Moné (formerly Sasha Banks). While the Four Horsewomen are widely celebrated for revolutionizing WWE’s women’s division, Bayley says the bonds between them weren’t as strong as fans may believe — particularly with Lynch and Flair.
“I feel it’s a little complicated. It’s a very like sisterly family type situation when it comes to the four of us,” Bayley explained. “And if I’m being quite honest, I’ve never really been close to Becky… I’ve never rode to shows together with her and I’ve never been close to Charlotte.”
Bayley added that while all four women shared professional respect and made history together, their personal dynamics varied greatly.
“We were never the kind of people to be like, ‘Let’s go out to dinner after the show.’ It was different,” she said.
Bayley and Moné, on the other hand, have remained close friends since their time together in NXT and have continued supporting each other across promotions. Bayley was even spotted at New Japan Pro Wrestling events when Moné competed there in 2023.
The Four Horsewomen — Bayley, Lynch, Flair, and Moné — were instrumental in changing the perception of women’s wrestling in WWE. While their in-ring chemistry remains undeniable, Bayley’s comments offer a reminder that professional success doesn’t always equate to personal closeness.
