Baron Corbin Slams WWE for Removing Bayley from WrestleMania 41 – Former WWE Superstar Bishop Dyer, previously known as Baron Corbin, expressed strong frustration over WWE’s decision to remove Bayley from her WrestleMania 41 match during a recent appearance on Busted Open Radio. Dyer didn’t mince words when discussing what he viewed as an unjust move.
“I’ve had a few days to kind of calm down because it made me extremely angry… Fck you, that’s my sentiment,” Dyer said bluntly. “I mean, to do it to Bayley of all people. Someone who’s been there through COVID… has made lemonade out of dogsht repeatedly… is a model f*cking employee.”
Bayley, a cornerstone of WWE’s women’s division and a Grand Slam Champion, was removed from the WrestleMania 41 card just days before the event, reportedly due to storyline changes. Dyer criticized the decision regardless of whether she had been briefed beforehand.
“I don’t give a sht if she knew the storyline [ahead of time]. Please, do all this, take all these bumps, work your ass off, and two days before we’re gonna replace you… And I know Bayley’s going to be fine… but that is a moment and it is bullsht all the way through.”
Dyer went on to praise Bayley’s loyalty and contributions, including her work in NXT and helping elevate younger talent. “She didn’t get to be on WrestleMania. She went down to NXT, elevated talent… does everything you’ve asked of her… Bayley deserved to be on WrestleMania… It is insane to me that you take that moment away.”
At this time, it’s unclear when Bayley will return to WWE programming following her storyline injury. She reportedly has a year and a half remaining on her current WWE contract.
