WWE Reportedly in Talks with International Wrestler – WWE is said to be in discussions with Shaheen, an international wrestling talent from the United Arab Emirates. He is known as the first Emirati wrestler to represent the UAE on the global wrestling stage.
Cultaholic reports that that a WWE official has reached out to Shaheen. It is understood that following this contact, Shaheen has received an invitation for an upcoming WWE tryout. He is currently said to be in the process of getting the necessary visa to be able to work in the United States, which is a key step for any international talent looking to join WWE.
Shaheen is already a prominent figure in the UAE’s growing wrestling scene and is a main performer for WrestleFest DXB, a promotion based in Dubai. His international experience also includes wrestling in countries like Singapore, Malaysia, and the Philippines, and he previously trained at New Japan Pro-Wrestling’s (NJPW) LA Dojo system in the United States.
More recently, Shaheen gained wider viral attention online thanks to a clip of him performing a daring dive from a tall ring structure during a Ladder Match at the QPW Super Slam III event, a match which also featured well-known international stars like El Hijo del Vikingo and Caprice Coleman.
WWE’s reported interest in Shaheen fits with their recent, broader pattern of actively looking to sign more international stars.
