Seth Rollins and Penta Qualify for WWE Money in the Bank – The May 26 edition of WWE RAW featured two major Money in the Bank qualifying matches, as the men’s ladder match lineup continued to take shape ahead of the June 7 Premium Live Event.
In the opening qualifier, Penta earned his spot in the MITB match by defeating Chad Gable and Dragon Lee in a hard-hitting triple threat bout. The finish saw Penta deliver a devastating Penta Driver to Gable, scoring the decisive pinfall. The match also included a controversial ringside appearance from El Hijo del Vikingo, who interfered by kicking Gable, aiding Penta in the win and setting the stage for Vikingo vs. Gable at WWE x AAA Worlds Collide.
Later in the night, the main event featured Seth Rollins battling Sami Zayn and Finn Balor for another MITB spot. The chaotic final moments saw Balor miss a Coup de Grace, allowing Rollins to hit the Stomp. Zayn then landed a Helluva Kick on Rollins and attempted a pin, only for Bron Breakker to drag him out of the ring. A brawl broke out at ringside involving Jey Uso, Breakker, and Bronson Reed. Meanwhile, Dominik Mysterio slid a steel chair to Balor, but Rollins countered and hit another Stomp—this time driving Balor’s head into the chair for the win.
These results now lock in two more names for the Men’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match at the June 7 PLE.
