Money In The Bank Qualifiers Set to Begin, Matches Announced for 5/19 WWE RAW – The road to WWE Money In The Bank is officially underway. During the May 12 episode of RAW, Michael Cole confirmed that qualifying matches for the upcoming ladder match spectacle will kick off on this Friday’s SmackDown and continue on next week’s RAW.
While exact matchups and participants were not disclosed, the announcement signals the beginning of one of WWE’s most anticipated annual traditions, where Superstars battle for the coveted briefcases that grant a guaranteed title opportunity.
Additionally, three matches were announced for the May 19 edition of RAW, including a major tag team clash, a grudge match, and a high-profile singles bout.
Headlining the card is a tag team encounter featuring AJ Styles and Penta teaming up against Judgment Day’s Finn Balor and JD McDonagh. The match was made following Penta’s involvement on this week’s RAW, where he came to Styles’ aid during the bout against Balor, helping to ward off Judgment Day interference.
Also announced is a one-on-one showdown between Grayson Waller and Sheamus. This match follows The Celtic Warrior’s in-ring return just two weeks ago, where he scored a decisive victory over Waller’s tag team partner, Austin Theory. Tensions between Waller and Sheamus have steadily risen since, setting the stage for a physical contest.
Finally, former Bloodline member Jey Uso will go head-to-head with Bron Breakker in a non-title match. Breakker, who has been gaining momentum with his dominant performances since joining RAW, will now have a chance to make a statement against one of the red brand’s top stars.
