We are live from the KFC Yum! Center in Louisville, Kentucky, as CM Punk makes his way to the ring.
Punk asks if it is great to be alive on a Monday in Louisville. He says he is pissed off and he can claim this place to be home. He says he has waited a few weeks since Wrestlemania, but he cannot shake being pissed off. He says he has a lot of enemies and he says it would be easier to mention who he isn’t pissed off at.
Number one on the list is himself. He says he is mad at himself. We have been here before. This isn’t the first time Paul Heyman stabbed him in the back. Stab me in the back, shame on you. Stab me in the back twice, shame on me. Twelve years ago, he slammed a ladder into my head. Punk says he apologizes to Jey because he warned Punk about Paul, but he realized that Paul is a snake. Punk says he is pissed at Paul, but more at himself.
He is also pissed at that Temu CM Punk, Seth Rollins. He says he will get all of them. He says we know how this will end. He says he cannot wait to get his hands around Paul’s fat neck and squeeze until his eyes pop out.
Paul Heyman makes his way to the ring and Punk tells Paul to come into the ring and tell him why he did what he did. Those words will be your last.
Seth Rollins’ music plays and he comes out with Bron Breakker.
Punk says that Seth is just a song and at some point the bell will have to ring.
Paul hands Seth the mic.
Seth says just when he thinks you can’t get any more selfish or egotistical, you find a way to top yourself. Seth says Paul was your best friend. Your best friend, and you made his life hell on the road to Wrestlemania. Now you are out here gas lighting all of us to believe that he betrayed you. Seth says Punk makes him sick. He believed in your for years when no one else did. Seth says he believes that Punk is scum, trash, and human excrement. When he thinks that he cannot hate Punk more than he does and you stand in the ring, the reason why he is not World Champion right now.
Punk says Seth will never be champion as long as he is on two feet.
Seth wants to know what Punk’s deal is. Does he love punishment? Does he love being on the wrong side of history? Seth says Punk loves to play the victim. He loves to come out and cry him a river. Poor CM Punk. You so desperately want to be a victim. You want to die a martyr? Seth says that can be arranged. He tells Punk he hopes he has prepared his last words.
Seth tells Bron to go to the ring.
Punk goes after Bron when he enters the ring. Bron backs Punk into the corner and connects with shoulders and punches. Seth and Paul get to the ring while Bron prepares to charge into the corner. Punk with a boot and he takes down Seth and he punches Seth. Bron attacks Punk from behind. Bron kicks Punk.
Sami Zayn comes to the ring to go after Bron and Seth grabs Sami but Sami punches Seth. Bron with an exploder to Sami. Punk and Seth with punches. Seth has Paul give him conveniently placed chair against the steps but Jey breaks it up.
Seth and Bron attack Jey. Sami and Punk have chairs.
Penta vs. Chad Gable
Penta pushes Chad into the corner and kicks him. Penta chops Chad against the ropes a few times. Penta misses a thrust kick and Chad with a flying forearm. Chad gets a near fall. Chad with chops. Chad with a double thrust tot he throat for a near fall. Penta with punches and an elbow to the top of the head. Chad with a back elbow and a belly-to-back suplex for a near fall. Chad with a hard Irish whip and he goes for the mask on the turnbuckles. Penta with elbows to stop Chad and he comes off the turnbuckles with an arm drag. Penta with a head scissors that sends Chad to the floor. Chad moves and Penta stops against the ropes. Penta with a pescado but Chad with a flying head butt to stop him.
Chad with kicks to Penta and he mocks the strut and hand gesture. Chad with knee drops to the arm. Penta puts Chad on the turnbuckles and he punches Chad but Chad with a triangle in the ropes. Chad with a clothesline off the turnbuckles for a near fall. Penta with punches but Chad gets a near fall. Chad with an arm bar. Chad goes for the mask again and he goes to the arm for a double wrist lock. Penta with a thrust kick and both men are down. Penta with a kick in the corner and a hesitation headstand kick for a near fall. Chad catches Penta off the ropes and Chad hits a delayed German suplex for a near fall. Chad goes to the turnbuckles but he is met with a Codebreaker as he comes off and Penta gets a near fall.
Penta with many chops in the corner. Penta slips on the ropes when he tries to float over but Chad holds on to the ropes to block a lungblower. Chad with a moonsault for a near fall. Chad goes for an ankle lock but Penta rolls through and hits a super kick for a near fall. Chad escapes Sacrifice and counters into an ankle lock. Chad pulls Penta into the center of the ring and Penta with a victory roll for a near fall. Chad with a rollup for a near fall. Chad with a double thrust to the throat and he puts Penta on the turnbuckles. Chad goes up top and Penta blocks a superplex and he knocks Chad to the mat but Chad lands on his feet. Penta comes off the turnbuckles with a Destroyer for the three count.

Backstage:
Roxanne says the Prodigy and the Beautiful Madness take on the Genius of the Sky and Rhea Ripley. Giulia says Rhea and Iyo are strong, but Roxanne and she are hungry. They didn’t come to wait their turn. They came to take over. Perez says that means going after the two women at the top. Iyo, Rhea. We don’t give a damn about your history because they are here to make their own. You are looking at the future of this industry. Giulia says the future begins tonight.
– We take a look back at the main event from Backlash.
Backstage:
We are in Clubhouse and Dom is on the phone. He says Liv misses her when Raquel asks. Dom wants to talk to Finn. Dom says that Finn hesitated on Saturday and Grande had to save him. Finn says that Dom is paranoid. He says he will take care of AJ Styles tonight.
– We take a look at Pat McAfee and Gunther from Backlash.
– We are told that Seth Rollins and Bron Breakker face Sami Zayn and CM Punk at Saturday Night’s Main Event.
Backstage:
Sami and Punk are in LOCKER ROOM and Sami asks if they are good. Punk says he is having trouble trusting anyone. Sami says he understands because he had trouble teaming with him at War Games. He knows that Punk has his goals and ambitions. Sami says neither will get anything done with them in the way.
American Made vs. War Raiders
Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods join the commentary team.
Erik and Julius start things off and Erik gets a near fall. Julius with a rollup for a near fall. Erik slams Julius and Ivar tags in and so does Brutus. Ivar slams both men and Erik slams Brutus. Erik slams Ivar onto Brutus. Julius tags in and Erik clotheslines Brutus. Julius with a clothesline and he tags in Brutus. They punch and kick Erik in the corner. They stomp on Erik in the corner and Julius chokes him. Erik with punches and Julius backs Erik into the corner. Brutus with windmill forearms from the turnbuckles. Brutus with a double sledge off the turnbuckles. Julius tags back in and he suplexes Erik to keep him from making the tag. Julius punches Ivar off the apron. Erik sends Julius onto Brutus on the floor but Ivar isn’t on the apron for the tag. Julius with a punch when Erik goes for an Irish whip.
Julius with a delayed suplex onto the floor. Julius sends Erik back into the ring and he keeps Erik from making the tag. Julius works on the leg with elbow drops. Julius with an achilles lock and elbow drops to the leg. Erik gets to the ropes and Brutus tags in. Brutus with a forearm and he tags Julius back in. Brutus with a shoulder into the corner and Julius with a sliding clothesline for a near fall. Julius wtih a reverse chin lock and Brutus tags in and applies a chin lock. Erik with an elbow and Brutus with a forearm. Brutus with forearms to the back of the head. Erik with a forearm and both men are down. Ivar and Julius tag in and Ivar with a back body drop and cross body splash. Julius with an Irish whip but Ivar with a seated splash. Ivar with a Spin Kick of Doom to Brutus. Iver with a bronco buster to Julius. Ivar goes up top.
Ivar is stopped by Julius and Brutus tags in. They hit a superplex and moonsault combination for a near fall. Ivar with Tour of the Islands and Erik tags in. Erik with an exploder to Brutus and then he gives one to Julius. Ivar and Erik tag in and Ivar with a clothesline and Erik with a flying knee. Erik sends Ivar into Julius in the corner. Erik gets a near fall. Brutus with a forearm to Ivar but Erik takes care of Brutus. Julius with a flying knee to Erik and everyone is down. Ivar and Brutus tag in and Ivar misses a Spin Kick of Doom. Brutus with an Olympic Slam and Julius tags in. Ivar runs through a double clothesline and he goes for a double back elbow but Julius and Brutus catch Ivar and hit a double belly-to-back suplex. Erik breaks up the cover. Erik with a forearm to Brutus on the floor.
Woods gets up and distracts Erik. Ivar goes up top for a moonsault but Kofi punches Ivar. Brutus hits Erik and then Julius gets Ivar on his shoulder for the Brutus Ball and the three count.

Backstage:
Seth Rollins is in LOCKER ROOM with Bron and Paul. Seth says they think they got the best of them out there and they had their backs against the wall. They might think they are winning this battle. Seth tells Bron they have no idea. Seth says there is one thing he needs to do before they go and that is have some fun.
– Adam Pearce tells Jey Uso something and he walks away.
- Cathy Kelley is with Austin Theory and Grayson Waller. Waller says last week was his fault. He was trying to be a good mate but the surprise might have been too much. Theory says he could have beaten Sheamus if he had more time. Waller says he talked to Pearce, but Theory interrupts and he says that he talked to Pearce and next week Grayson Waller faces Sheamus.
– We take a look at Logan Paul’s attack on Jey Uso after Raw ended.
In the Arena:
Jey Uso makes his way to the ring.
Jey says he is in your city. Jey says he got a lot going on. Big target. on his. big back. he asks for some big checks. Logan, you talking out the side of your neck. Saying he ain’t championship material. You keep sneaking up on him. At Saturday Night’s Main Event it is me and you. Face to face. Jey says after that Saturday night, he will still be champion.
Gunther’s music plays and he makes his way to the ring.
Gunther says the unimaginable came true. Jey Uso, World Heavyweight Champion. It is the first time since that moment that we meet again.
Jey asks if that is the moment he made Gunther tap out.
Gunther says he understands what Jey is doing as the champion. Gunther reminds us he has been champion for 80 percent of the time he has been in WWE. Gunther says his opinion of Jey has not changed. This position does not feel natural for you. You are not a natural champion. Since you like to run your mouth a lot, he is shocked that Jey hasn’t spread the news yet. Gunther says that the winner of the match at Saturday Night’s Main Event will get to hand over the title to its rightful owner, on June 9th in Phoenix, Arizona.
He tells Jey he hopes it is him. He would love to do nothing more than shut you and the people up for good. He would love nothing more to get in the ring and outclass you again and remind you where your place is.
Jey wants Gunther to remind him of his place. Jey says he is in his place. This is his place. He runs this place. With this on his arm. He will handle the YouTuber. He will walk out of that match the same way he walked in. As champion.
– Iyo Sky says she tried to show respect to Roxanne but her and Giulia proved they don’t deserve any respect. You will learn the same lesson that Bianca and Rhea learned. You cannot stop her and no one will take the title from her.
– Michael Cole mentions the passing of Sabu.
Backstage:
Erik and Ivar want another match and make their plea to Adam Pearce. Xavier and Kofi conveniently show up and they tell Pearce that they need to go to the back of the line. Pearce says the Creeds get their title match. Pearce says if Kofi and Woods want to stick their noses in Erik and Ivar’s business, he is putting Erik and Ivar in theirs. It is a TRIPLE THREAT MATCH.
Backstage:
Jackie Redmond is in the back with Ludwig Kaiser. She talks about his 2024 but we haven’t seen him in competition too much in 2025. Kaiser is distracted as we see Bron Breakker standing over Jey Uso. Bron and Paul are told to leave. Sami shows up and wants to know what happened. Punk shows up as well.
AJ Styles vs. Finn Balor
They lock up and Finn with a side head lock take down. AJ with a head scissors and Finn escapes. Finn with a wrist lock. AJ with a reversal. AJ keeps Finn on the mat and applies a side head lock. Finn with a reversal. AJ with a rollup for a near fall. AJ with a Phenomenal drop kick and Finn goes to the floor. AJ holds the ropes for Finn and there are no shenanigans. AJ with a waist lock and Finn goes for a wrist lock. AJ with a snap mare and chin lock. Finn with a hammer lock. AJ with a flying mare and arm drag into an arm bar. AJ with a sunset flip but you don’t sunset flip Finn Balor as he rolls through and htis a drop kick. Finn with a suplex and he gets a near fall. Finn sends AJ into the turnbuckles. Finn with punches. Finn with shoulders in the corner and then he poses.
AJ with a back breaker and a suplex for a near fall. AJ with a slam and he hits a leaping knee drop. Finn sends AJ into the turnbuckles and punches him. AJ with punches and chops to Finn. Finn hot shots AJ on the top rope. Finn with boots to AJ. Finn with punches to the midsection and back. Finn with an abdominal stretch. AJ with a hip toss and clothesline followed by a sliding forearm. AJ with a forearm into the corner and an Ushigoroshi for a near fall. JD gets on the apron to distract AJ. Finn gets a rollup for a near fall. AJ avoids GTR and AJ with strikes to Finn and both go down as they hit clotheslines. Finn with a chop in the corner.
AJ blocks an Irish whip and he chops and punches Finn. Finn with a cross arm breaker. AJ counters into a rollup for a near fall. Finn puts AJ in the ropes and he connects with punches to the midsection. AJ with a sit out gourdbuster for a near fall. AJ puts Finn on the turnbuckles and they exchange forearms. AJ sets for a superplex and he hits it. Finn and AJ exchange punches. AJ with a rolling elbow and AJ blocks a Pele Kick. AJ goes for the Calf Crusher and he applies it. Finn gets to the ropes to force a break. Finn with a clothesline and both men are down. Finn sets for the running drop kick but AJ wtih a clothesline. Finn with sling blade. Finn drop kicks AJ into the corner.
Finn goes up top for Coup de Grace but AJ moves and Finn’s knee gives out. AJ returns to the Calf Crusher. AJ rolls through and hits a Styles Clash for a near fall. Carlito gets on the apron to stop a Styles Clash and AJ stops JD on the other side of the ring. AJ with a forearm to Finn and a sliding knee on the apron to JD. Balor blocks a Phenomenal Forearm and hits 1918 for a near fall.
Penta comes out and he hits a cross body on Carlito. Penta with a tilt-a-whirl back breaker to JD on teh floor and a destroyer off JD’s back to Carlito.
Finn sends AJ to the apron and AJ with a Phenomenal Forearm for the three count.
Winner: AJ Styles
– American Made make their obligatory and contractually required interstitial appearance. Chad says lucha libre sucks. People like Penta run around and do whatever they want is ridiculous. Tonight has been a great night for American Made. His boys are in line for a tag title match. Chad says he wants to give a special shout out to his new favorite wrestler, El Grande Americano.
In the Arena:
Becky Lynch makes her way to the ring.
She sits on the turnbuckles and she says she wasn’t beaten on Saturday. She says Lyra was beaten on Saturday. You don’t believe her? One of us was taken to a hospital (her) and one went to her bus, took a shower, had a shot of tequila, and basked in her greatness (Becky). She says after weeks of Lyra attacking her character, she made Lyra the best version of herself. She has never mattered more than she does right now and it is not even close. Becky says when the bell rang after the match, she didn’t hear defeat. She heard an alarm ringing in her ear and she realized how much she was manipulated, not just by Lyra, but by all of you.
Do you know why she walked away for a year? You asked her to. The last time she won the World Title, she felt it and saw the comments online. If she is not here to win championships, she doesn’t need to be here. She is here for the people. She says she has all of you to thank her for her career. You carried me to the main event of Wrestlemania and we were in this together.
Something happened and she won. Then you couldn’t see yourself in her because you are used to failure. You hate what you cannot understand. Do you want to know something. One of her friends asked her if she missed it. She says she misses being in the ring, but she likes herself more. She says she didn’t understand what she was saying. She did not have to listen to her to hear who she is and what she is about. All of the lies she hears. She says it all changes. What you say she is, she is. You says she is selfish, greedy, and cutthroat. Yes she is.
All of those girls in the back happy she was gone and thinking it was safe. They will realize what it is like to be held down by the man.
We Hear from Rusev
Rusev says he didn’t want to do that. He didn’t want to do any of this. All he wanted was to go home and get rich. He cannot leave his brothers until they all wake up. Do you think these people care that you are missing your family. Do they care that your choices are hurt or be hurt. Last week, Tozawa stood up to him and the people cheered for him. You let the sheep control the wolves. He says he sees through it and they mock him by chanting his name. It will hurt him to hurt you, but he would rather you fall at his hand than fall into the darkness.
Backstage:
Tozawa tells Pearce he wants Rusev. Pearce says he cannot give him a match against Rusev because he is not medically cleared. He says he will reconsider when he is cleared.
Sheamus shows up and he praises Tozawa. Sheamus says he was dying to get back to work and he needed to shake off the ring rust. He says he wants the momentum to continue. Next week, him versus Grayson Waller. Pearce says that is official because that sounds like a banger.
– Money in the Bank Qualifier matches start this Friday on SmackDown and continue on Raw.
– Next week, AJ Styles and Penta face Finn Balor and JD McDonagh. Sheamus face Austin Theory. Jey Uso faces Bron Breakker in a non-title match.
IYO SKY and Rhea Ripley vs. Roxanne Perez and Giulia
Iyo and Perez start things off and Perez is stopped by the ropes. Iyo with a flying boot and Perez with punches. Iyo with punches of her own. Iyo pulla Perez from the ropes and Iyo gets a near fall. Iyo with a side head lock. Iyo holds on when Perez tries to send Iyo off the ropes. Iyo holds on to the hair and Perez slaps Iyo. Iyo slaps back. Iyo with a forearm to Giulia and Perez hits Iyo from behind. Perez kicks Iyo and tags in Giulia. Giulia with a hip into the corner and Perez iwth an uppercut. Giulia chokes Iyo in the ropes. Perez with a kick when the referee deals with Giulia. Rhea brings Perez into the ring and hip tosses her onto Iyo. Rhea with a drop kick to Perez. Giulia works on the neck while the referee deals with Rhea’s interference. Iyo with a handspring and a drop kick. Iyo with a side head lock and Perez pulls Rhea off the apron to prevent the tag.
Giulia with a kick to Iyo and Perez slaps Rhea on the floor. Rhea chases Perez and Giulia tries for a cross body but Rhea catches her. Perez drop kicks Giulia in the back and it sends Rhea into the ring post. Iyo with a suicide dive onto Giulia. Perez with a drop kick to Iyo. Giulia sends Iyo back into the ring. Giulia has Iyo in the ropes and Giulia with forearms and chops. Giulia winds up with a punch. Giulia gets a near fall. Perez tags in and she kicks Iyo. Giulia with a snap mare and Perez gets a near fall. Perez with an uppercut in the corner and a satellite move into a side Russian leg sweep for a near fall. Perez with kicks to Iyo. Perez works on the back. Perez with a hammer lock and she bridges and adds more pressure to the hold. Iyo with a flying mare but Perez prevents the tag. Iyo kicks Perez away and Giulia tags in and Iyo sends Giulia to the floor. Rhea tags in and she clotheslines Perez. Rhea with a back heel kick and a Tiger Suplex. Rhea sets for a Razor’s Edge and hits it. Rhea with a drop kick for a near fall.
Rhea with snake eyes to Perez and then she puts Perez on the turnbuckles. Rhea sets for a super Razor’s Edge but Perez is able to escape and she slaps Rhea in the back of the head. Perez with a rana from the turnbuckles for a near fall. Giulia tags in and Perez drop kicks Iyo to the floor. Giulia with a head butt and Perez with a drop kick. Giulia with a suplex and Perez with a double jump moonsault for a near fall. Perez with a sleeper and she gets o Rhea’s back. Perez pulls Rhea to the mat. Perez with an uppercut but Rhea catches Perez in the corner and hits a face plant. Giulia and Iyo tag in and Iyo with shotei. Giulia with an Irish wihp and Iyo kicks Giulia from the apron. Iyo goes up top and hits a missile drop kick. Iyo points to her ears and she avoids Perez. Perez with a tornado DDT to Rhea. IYo with a drop kick to Perez but Giulia with an inside cradle to Iyo for a near fall. Iyo escpes and she applies a waist lock. Iyo with a standing switch and Victory Roll into a double stomp.
Iyo goes to the turnbuckles for a moonsault and she hits it but Perez breaks up the cover. Perez goes for a side Russian leg sweep but Iyo blocks it and Rhea sends Iyo into Giulia for a drop kick. Perez with a bck heel kick and she misses Pop Rox. Iyo with a missile drop kick. Iyo goes up top and they both do the ear thing. Giulia trips Rhea on the apron. Giulia goes for a butterfly superplex and hits it. Giulia with a Northern Lights Bomb for a near fall. Perez with a missile drop kick to Rhea but Rhea kicks Perez. Giulia with a knee to Rhea. Iyo with a butterfly back breaker. Iyo is sent to the apron and Iyo goes up top. Rhea make the tag. Iyo misses Giulia and Perez with a cross body to Giulia. Rhea with a head butt to Giulia and she htis RipTide for the three count.
Winners: Rhea Ripley and Iyo Sky
After the match, Rhea raises Iyo’s arm holding the title belt and we have that awkward moment.

5/12 WWE RAW Preview
Tonight’s episode of WWE RAW promises intense matchups and high-stakes confrontations, featuring a mix of NXT talent, top champions, and ongoing rivalries heating up in the aftermath of WWE Backlash.
Former NXT Women’s Champions Giulia and Roxanne Perez will reunite as a tag team to face off against Rhea Ripley and reigning Women’s World Champion IYO SKY. This comes just one week after SKY pinned Perez in singles action, only to be attacked by both Giulia and Perez after the match. With tensions boiling over, this high-profile tag bout could have major implications for the women’s division moving forward.
The tag team scene continues to intensify as American Made’s Julius Creed and Brutus Creed go head-to-head with Erik and Ivar of The War Raiders. Both teams have their sights set on the WWE World Tag Team Titles, currently held by New Day. The War Raiders picked up a significant win two weeks ago against Judgment Day’s Finn Balor and JD McDonagh, while the Creed Brothers haven’t teamed on RAW since their March 17 loss to LWO’s Rey Mysterio and Dragon Lee.
Also representing American Made, Chad Gable will face Penta in singles competition. Penta is coming off a failed bid for the Intercontinental Championship at WWE Backlash, where Gable’s ally El Grande Americano (Chad Gable under a mask) interfered using his trademark metal-assisted headbutt to cost Penta the match.
WWE World Heavyweight Champion Jey Uso will be in the house tonight, just under two weeks before his scheduled title defense against Logan Paul at Saturday Night’s Main Event on May 24. After retaining against Seth Rollins last week via disqualification due to the chaos caused by Sami Zayn, Bron Breakker, and CM Punk, Uso was ambushed by Paul once the cameras stopped rolling. Expect a strong response from the champion tonight.
In singles action, AJ Styles will compete for the first time since his WrestleMania 41 loss to Logan Paul as he takes on Finn Balor. Balor is also looking to rebound from recent setbacks, and with both men desperate for momentum, this contest could steal the show.
Also scheduled to appear tonight is CM Punk. This marks Punk’s first appearance on RAW since he was betrayed by Paul Heyman during the WrestleMania 41 Triple Threat match against Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns. With Heyman’s actions still fresh, Punk’s presence tonight could have far-reaching consequences.
