Kazuchika Okada Vs “Speedball” Mike Bailey Set for AEW Double or Nothing – Kazuchika Okada is set to put his AEW Continental Championship on the line against “Speedball” Mike Bailey at AEW Double or Nothing 2025. The match was made official during the May 21 episode of AEW Dynamite.
During a backstage interview segment, Renee Paquette highlighted that Mike Bailey has yet to be pinned in AEW. Okada, unimpressed, responded by stating that Bailey doesn’t get to call him out — it’s the other way around. With trademark intensity, Okada simply warned, “There’s a first time for everything… Trust me. Trust me.”
Later in the broadcast, AEW formally announced the match for the pay-per-view, confirming that Bailey will get his biggest opportunity yet when he challenges one of wrestling’s most decorated champions.
Bailey’s undefeated run in AEW has turned heads, and his high-paced, martial arts-influenced style presents a unique challenge for Okada. However, Okada has been dominant since capturing the AEW Continental Championship, showing no signs of slowing down.
