Linda McMahon Joins Trump’s 2024 Transition Team – Linda McMahon is set to play a significant role in preparing Donald Trump for his upcoming term as U.S. President. Following Trump’s victory, which was confirmed early Wednesday, McMahon has been appointed as one of the co-chairs for Trump’s presidential transition team. Alongside Howard Lutnick, CEO of Cantor Fitzgerald, McMahon will be central in planning the transition.
Her responsibilities include identifying and evaluating potential political appointees, drafting executive orders, shaping strategies to advance Trump’s policy goals, and overseeing the policy aspects of the transition process. McMahon brings extensive experience, having served in Trump’s first administration as head of the Small Business Administration (SBA), where she was part of his cabinet until her departure in 2019. After stepping down from the SBA, she became chair of the conservative America First Action PAC, furthering her involvement in politics.
As a long-time Trump supporter, McMahon has also made substantial financial contributions, reportedly donating over $10 million to support his 2024 campaign. Her active role reflects her deep commitment to Trump’s political success. McMahon’s address at the Republican National Convention in July 2024 highlighted her alignment with Trump’s vision and policies, reinforcing her influential position within his team as they prepare for the next four years.
