– After defeating Samoa Joe and Dolph Ziggler at WWE Smackvile, Kofi Kingston hyped his match against Randy Orton at SummerSlam on Twitter.
Kofi wrote, “And we’re on to #SummerSlam…”. Randy Orton replied to his tweet, reminding him that 3 of his 13 world titles started at SummerSlam. It was in 2004 at SummerSlam when Orton won his first World Heavyweight Championship.
Tonight Kingston replied back to him that he’s not the same kid that Orton buried in 2009. He also told Orton that it’ll be different, stupidly different.
And we’re on to #SummerSlam…

– As we noted earlier via Womens-Wrestling.Com, Renee Young gave her thoughts on her commentary, saying that she’s not great at it. Many WWE stars sent her encouraging tweets, like Seth Rollins, who told her that she was a trailblazing bad— and awesome at her gig.
No idea how I got tagged into this thread/these tweets, but @ReneeYoungWWE is a trailblazing badass and awesome at her gig and if anyone uses their cowardly thumbs to belittle her then I hope those folks drown in their shame. You rock Renee. https://t.co/onPqkzxTQg— Seth Rollins (@WWERollins) July 29, 2019
