WWE Officials Impressed With Two Tag-Team Stars

A pair of WWE Superstars are earning accolades for their recent performances inside the squared circle.

According to a report from Fightful Select, Kofi Kingston of The New Day and Ivar of The Viking Raiders have been receiving high praise for their recent matches on WWE Monday Night Raw.

The unexpected in-ring clash between Kingston and Ivar came about due to an injury sustained by Erik, which led to a change in the originally planned two-out-of-three falls match between The New Day and The Viking Raiders. Instead, fans were treated to a singles showdown between Kingston and Ivar.

It was this bout that initially garnered recognition for the two WWE talents. A notable producer mentioned that Ivar had not competed in a singles match lasting over ten minutes in over five years, but he managed to impress many with his performance, showing no signs of rust.

Subsequent matches involving Xavier Woods and the thrilling Viking Rules showdown on Raw also drew considerable praise, leaving WWE management open to the idea of potentially utilizing Ivar in more singles competition moving forward.
