Zoey Stark Shuts Down Retirement Rumors – Zoey Stark has officially addressed and denied false retirement rumors that recently circulated online, putting an end to speculation sparked by an AI-generated video.
The WWE Superstar suffered a serious knee injury several weeks ago during a Money in the Bank qualifying match on RAW, where she tore her ACL, MCL, and meniscus. Since then, Stark has been off television, focusing on recovery. However, fake reports — fueled by what appears to be a realistic AI-generated video — spread misinformation suggesting she was retiring from professional wrestling.
In a video posted to her social media, Stark directly responded to the rumors, assuring fans that she is absolutely not stepping away from the ring.
“That’s pretty funny actually. This AI video, whoever made it, great job. You did a fantastic job because a lot of people fell for it, including my own family,” Stark said. “It’s not true, I’m not retiring. Not any time soon. In fact, I’m here at the UFC Performance Institute to do rehab on my knee, and working my a* off three to four times a day of physical therapy.”*
Stark also emphasized that she plans to be transparent with fans during her recovery process:
“Look, I’m gonna share my journey with you guys. You know, the good, the bad, the ugly, a road to recovery, and what it is. So, stay with me. I love all you Stark marks.”
There is currently no timetable for Stark’s return to in-ring action, but based on the injury type, a typical recovery window for torn ACL, MCL, and meniscus ligaments could span 9–12 months depending on rehab progress.
Stark had gained significant momentum prior to the injury, and her continued visibility online shows she’s staying connected with fans and determined to make a full comeback.
