EJ Nduka Officially Enters Free Agency After AEW Departure – EJ Nduka is officially a free agent following the expiration of his contract with All Elite Wrestling. Nduka, who had previously wrestled for WWE and MLW, joined AEW in early 2023 but saw limited exposure on its flagship programming.
After being released from his WWE developmental deal—where he worked under the NXT banner—Nduka made a strong impression in Major League Wrestling. He spent over a year with MLW, showcasing his size, agility, and athleticism, which eventually led to interest from AEW.
Despite signing with AEW in early 2023, Nduka did not receive much television time on Dynamite or Rampage. Instead, he found a more consistent role within Ring of Honor (ROH), the Tony Khan-owned sister promotion. There, he teamed with Lee Johnson to form the tag team “LeeJ.” While the duo had moments of promise, they never managed to climb into serious title contention.
Nduka’s departure comes at a time when the free agent market is becoming increasingly competitive, and his blend of size, charisma, and athletic pedigree makes him an attractive option for wrestling promotions globally. His availability opens the door for appearances in Impact, NJPW, NWA, GCW, or even a possible return to WWE.
No official statement has been made by Nduka regarding his next move, but as of now, he is free to accept bookings and explore new opportunities in the wrestling industry.
