While the bump is a positive development for AEW, the show still faced stiff competition in the cable rankings. Dynamite trailed behind the NBA Playoffs on TNT, the NHL Playoffs on ESPN, and Fox News programming in the key demo, which is often a determining factor for advertisers.
Despite this, AEW saw strong engagement online following the broadcast. The most-viewed YouTube clip from the episode featured The Hurt Syndicate potentially aligning with MJF, garnering an impressive 299,000 views. Other notable segments also drew solid numbers:

The ratings uptick suggests AEW’s current storylines—particularly involving MJF, Samoa Joe, and the ongoing international talent collaborations—are gaining momentum with their core audience. However, competing with major playoff broadcasts continues to present a challenge.
