Darby Allin Reaches Mount Everest Summit, Plants AEW Flag at the Top of the World

Darby Allin Reaches Mount Everest Summit, Plants AEW Flag at the Top of the World – Darby Allin has achieved one of the most daring feats imaginable — successfully reaching the summit of Mount Everest. The AEW star reached the top of the world’s highest peak on Sunday, May 18, 2025, completing a months-long journey filled with danger, preparation, and determination.

Allin, known for his fearless persona in and out of the ring, began training for the expedition in late 2024. He has been off AEW television since December to fully commit to the climb, which officially began in April 2025. His mission wasn’t just personal — Allin made it clear he would represent AEW at the summit, and he delivered on that promise by planting an AEW flag at the top of Everest.

Following his achievement, Allin took to social media to reflect on the experience. He posted: “Mount Everest summit. What a ride thanks @aew for everything in life. Thanks to the amazing team at adventure consultants and the Sherpa squad this shit was wild!”

The climb to Everest is one of the most physically and mentally demanding challenges in the world. Allin’s successful summit adds another chapter to his legacy as not just a wrestler but a modern-day adventurer. His journey required coordination with a team of experts, including Sherpas and the professional mountaineering group Adventure Consultants, who helped guide him to the peak.

While Allin’s climb is complete, there is no official word on when he will return to AEW programming. Fans have been supportive throughout his Everest mission and are eagerly awaiting news of his in-ring comeback.

Darby Allin’s Everest triumph is being celebrated across the wrestling world as a rare and remarkable accomplishment — both as an athlete and as an individual willing to test the limits of what’s possible.
