WWE LFG Taping Results from April 8 – Ahead of Tuesday night’s live WWE NXT broadcast on The CW Network, WWE taped new content for its WWE LFG series on A&E at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida. The April 8 taping featured two WWE LFG segments and a dark match to kick off the evening’s action.
In the pre-show dark match, fan-favorite Wendy Choo returned to in-ring action, scoring a victory over Kendal Grey. Choo, known for her unique in-ring style and character work, delivered a strong performance that energized the crowd before the television tapings began.
The first segment taped for WWE LFG involved a heated confrontation between BJ Ray and Elijah Holyfield. Ray came out to address the audience with a promo but was interrupted by Holyfield, leading to an intense verbal exchange. The back-and-forth quickly escalated into a physical brawl, with Holyfield getting the upper hand and standing tall in the ring as BJ Ray retreated to the outside. The segment added to the growing animosity between the two rising stars, setting up what appears to be a future in-ring clash.
The second match taped for WWE LFG featured Harlem Lewis going one-on-one with Chris Island. Lewis picked up the win in a solid showing, continuing to build momentum as part of the WWE ID initiative. The match showcased both athletes’ development under the WWE banner, in line with WWE LFG’s focus on spotlighting emerging talent.
Following the WWE LFG taping, the evening continued with the live episode of WWE NXT. Full results from that broadcast are available at this link.
WWE LFG is part of WWE’s Superstar Sunday programming block on A&E, which also includes WWE Rivals and WWE’s Greatest Moments. The series highlights WWE’s next generation of talent and continues to introduce new characters and rivalries in front of a national audience.
