10/3 NXT Results – We begin with a look back at No Mercy.
Vic Joseph and Booker T welcome us to the show, as NXT Women’s Champion Becky Lynch make her way to the ring.
Becky says she is still the champion, but after a brutal Extreme Rules match at No Mercy, she is not medically cleared to compete and she made sure Tiffany Stratton wasn’t either because they beat the piss out of each other. She says she will give her all in the ring and she wants her opponent to do the same and Tiffany did that. Becky says she wants to elevate the title to heights never seen before. She wants to defend the title anywhere she can. She is looking at night one of Halloween Havoc. She has a road block with Tegan Nox, but . . .
Lyra Valkyria interrupts and she apologizes and says that June 26, 2014, the day Becky made her NXT debut, it was the first episode of NXT she saw. She saw an Irish girl in the ring and she started training that week. Becky’s debut kickstarted her career. Lyra says everyone knows Becky is the man, but does Becky know what she has done for Lyra or for Irish wrestling. She mentions a show in Ireland and how the crowd reaction got to her. She wants to go the extra mile because Becky made it possible. Becky was the first woman to main event Wrestlemania. All these years later, her career came full circle when she stood side by side with Becky in the main event of NXT. As good as standing side by side felt, she wants to know how it feels to stand face to face. She doesn’t know if Becky thinks she is ready . . .
Becky says she thinks she knows it and you know you are ready.
Indi Hartwell comes out and says surprise and tells Becky she is not the only one to come back to NXT with a point to prove. Nowhere in your speech did you mention you shocked the world at Stand and Deliver by winning the title. Indi says she never lost the title. If Becky wants to go between Monday and Tuesday, so can she. This will always be home. These people watched her grow up. She got married in this ring. Now I am back for something I never lost.
Roxanne Perez interrupts and shd tells Becky she is truly that man and you deserve to be. You left NXT and you became everything they said you couldn’t. Perez is not going to rest on her accolades or accomplishments. You told me to sit in the back and rest up, but I don’t want to do this. Roxanne says she respects Becky and that is why she is out here to say that she wants her Women’s title back. She will take it back at Halloween Havoc.
Becky says you made some good points and you can do a little less talking and some more fighting. Becky will sit on commentary and you can have a Triple Threat match tonight to entertain her. The winner faces Becky on night one of Halloween Havoc.
– We have a video for the participants in the Breakout Tournament. We see the bracket for the tournament.

– We see Trick Williams and Dominik Mysterio arriving in the Most Dangerous Parking Lot in Sports Entertainment.
Butch and Tyler Bate vs. Mark Coffey and Wolfgang
Butch goes after Joe as the match starts and then Butch hits a clothesline on Mark. Butch goes to the apron and punches Wolfgang and kicks Mark. Wolfgang clotheslines Butch back into the ring. Mark with a shoulder tackle and then into the turnbuckles. Wolfgang tags in and he punches Butch. Wolfgang with a knee drop and he chokes Butch. Mark tags in and he Irish whips Butch and tags Wolfgang back in. Mark kicks Butch and Wolfgang with an arm bar. Butch with forearms and chops to Wolfgang followed by a wrist lock and he works on the fingers. Butch puts the hand on the mat and stomps on the shoulder. Bate tags in and they both set up the arms for stomps and they connect. Bate tries to get Wolfgang up but Wolfgang blocks it and connects with an uppercut. Bate with a knee lift and a corkscrew back elbow. They send Wolfgang to the floor and then they pull at Mark’s hands. Bate and Butch with stereo jabs to Wolfgang.
We go to commercial.
We are back and Bate punches Mark. Mark keeps Bate from making the tag and he sends Bate into the ropes. Wolfgang tags in and the referee deals with him to allow Joe to punch Bate. Wolfgang with a chin lock. but Bate with a back body drop. Bate takes care of Mark and tags in Butch. Butch with a series of enzuigiris to Mark and Wolfgang. Butch with kicks to Mark and a knee drop to the arm. Butch with a Shining Wizard to Mark and then he connects with the forearms. Butch with a pescado onto Joe. Butch misses a boot and Mark with an enzuigiri for a near fall. Mark sets for a suplex but Butch counters into an X plex. Bate tags in and hits a shooting star press on Mark. Bate with an airplane spin to Woflgang and he falls to the floor. Butch goes to the turnbuckles for a moonsault onto Wolfgang on the floor. Mark with a back body drop to counter Tyler Driver 97.
Bate with a rebound clothesline and he tags in Butch. Bate with a plancha onto Wolfgang. Butch with a kick and he tags in Bate. They hit a double Tyler Driver for the three count.
Winners: Tyler Bate and Butch
After the match, Joe attacks Bate and Butch. Wolfgang and Mark join in. Ridge Holland comes out and he evens the odds. Mark and Wolfgang are sent to the floor and then Ridge POUNCES Joe to the floor.
– We see Lyra Valkyria preparing for her match tonight.
– Ilja Dragunov walks in the back as we go to commercial.
– We are back and we see Roxanne Perez preparing for her match later tonight.
– NXT Men’s Champion, Ilja Dragunov makes his way to the ring.
Ilja says tonight, you can welcome him as the Mad Dragon, as the Tsar, as Unbesiegbar, or you can welcome as your new NXT Champion. At No Mercy, Carmelo Hayes brought the fight and what a fight that was. He pushed Ilja to places beyond his limits again and again and again. Ilja says he is barely even able to stand. He says he still stands, in pain, as your champion. Ilja says he promised he would fulfill his destiny and push the title to new levels.
North American Champion Trick Williams makes his way to the ring.
Trick says he appreciates the love as he enters the ring. Trick congratulates Ilja for winning at No Mercy. Trick says he isn’t out here because Ilja won a championship. He is out here because someone else won a championship. Trick points out he is your new North American champion. Trick thanks Ilja.
Ilja wants to know why.
Trick says Ilja showed him something at Heatwave. This version of Trick Williams is due to Ilja. Now he has gold and he is only going up from here.
Ilja says he is proud of Trick. At No Mercy, you whooped that trick.
Carmelo Hayes’ music plays and he gingerly makes his way to the ring.
Hayes wants to know what is going on with Trick. He says he appreciates the kind words from Ilja. You says you would fulfill your destiny and you did it. Why did you thank Ilja? I told you that you were a champion and you have it in you. We came up together. Hayes says winning that championship is amazing. Defending it is a completely different level.
Trick asks Hayes if he is saying that he isn’t ready for Dom?
Ilja wants to know what Hayes means, but then he says it is none of his business. It is a conversation between champions. If you think they are not done, find him after you figure that out.
Trick tells Ilja not to do that. If you want a rematch against Dragunov, that is fine but Trick says he feels he is ready.
Hayes says that Trick needs to focus on Dom before he thinks about going after Ilja.
Dominik Mysterio interrupts and he makes his way out.
Dom says Trick should listen to Melo because winning a title and keeping it are two completely different things. Especially when he is the one coming after Trick.
Trick asks Dom if he always takes orders from his Mami.
Dom says he is all man.
Trick says that is Dom’s problem. You talk about what Mami says and Trick says he is going to kick Dom’s ass tonight.
Dom says he promised Mami he would bring home the gold to her and THE Judgment Day.
Hayes tells Dom that is not happening. Hayes says Dom doesn’t roll alone. He says he has Trick’s back tonight and he will be in Trick’s corner.
Dom asks Trick, now that he is a champion, are you still in Melo’s shadow?
Trick tells Melo he knows that he is his dog but Trick declines. Trick says he got this title by himself and he will defend it himself.

Indi Hartwell vs. Roxanne Perez vs. Lyra Valkyria in a Number One Contender Match
They start off with a Perez and Lyra kicking Indi and connecting with pucnhes. Perez and Lyra with a double suplex to Indi and they send her to the floor. Perez and Lyra shake hands before locking up. Lyra with a cravate and take down for a near fall. Perez with a wrist lock and a La Magistral into a bridge for a near fall. Perez with a side head lock. Perez with a shoulder tackle but Lyra stays on her feet. Indi slams Lyra and then she slams Perez. Indi sends Perez to the apron for an uppercut and boot to the head. Indi sends Lyra to the apron and connects with a boot to the head for a near fall. Indi with a suplex for a near fall on Lyra. Perez with a victory roll on Indi into a bridge for a near fall. Perez with kicks to the leg. Perez with a satellite head scissors that sends Indi to the floor. Lyra kicks Perez in the chest and Perez goes to the floor. Lyra with a drop kick through the ropes to Perez.
Lyra with a drop kick through the ropes that Indi catches. Lyra with a kick and head butt to the midsection. Perez with a suicide dive to Lyra. Indi kicks Perez. Indi sends Perez back into the ring and she gets a near fall. Indi kicks Perez in the corner. Indi with a hard Irish whip to Perez. Indi kicks Perez but Perez with a rollup for a near fall. Indi with a clothesline to Perez for a near fall. Indi with an arm bar. Perez with punches but Indi with a knee and she gets Perez on her shoulders. Lyra drop kicks Indi and Indi with a Samoan drop to Perez. Lyra gets a near fall on Indi. Lyra with a reverse chin lock on Indi and she turns it into a hammer lock using the leg. Lyra works on the other hand and applies a wrist lock. Lyra with a slam to Indi followed by an elbow drop for a near fall. Lyra kicks Indi against the ropes.
Lyra with a snap mare but she misses an elbow drop when Indi moves. Indi with a double leg take down for a near fall. Indi and Lyra exchange forearms while Perez gets on the turnbuckles. Indi with a kick and elbow followed by an Irish whip. Perez with a cross body to Indi and a drop kick to send Lyra into the turnbuckles. Perez with running uppercuts. Lyra with a splash to Indi and Perez with a side Russian leg sweep to Lyra for a near fall. Perez with punches to Indi and Perez with a rana. Perez with a victory bomb to Indi for a near fall. Perez with a sleeper and body scissors on Indi. Indi backs Perez into the turnbuckles. Perez with a back elbow and she goes to the turnbuckles for a Thesz Press followed by punches.
Perez with a forearm and a floatover but Lyra with a missile drop kick to Indi and Perez. Lyra with kicks to Indi and Perez. Lyra with a back heel kick to Indi followed by a head butt. Perez sends Lyra’s foot into Indi. Lyra with enzuigiris to Perez and Indi. Lyra with a Northern Lights suplex for a near fall on Perez. Indi stops Lyra on the turnbuckles and Indi with punches to the back. Lyra stops Indi and Perez punches Lyra on the turnbuckles. Perez with a Frankensteiner and Indi with a running shoulder tackle to Perez for a near fall. Lyra with windmill forearms. Lyra with a sunset flip on Indi for a near fall. Indi kicks Lyra to the floor. Indi misses a charge into the corner and Perez with Pop Rox to Indi but Kiana James pulls Perez out of the ring. Lynch kicks James and Lyra with a frog splash for the three count.
Winner: Lyra Valkyria
Bekcy and Lyra stand in the ring when Tegan Nox’s music plays and she makes her way to the ring since she will be facing Becky on Monday.
– Carmelo Hayes walks in the back and Bron Breakker stops him. Bron tells Hayes to cut the crap. He says he is the only one who knows how Hayes feels. When you lost on Saturday, they started chanting for Ilja. No more Melo chants. Bron says he can tell that it is bothering Hayes. All that frustration and rage. He tells Hayes to listen to the most dominant NXT champion and use that rage and take it out on everyone, especially Trick. Hayes tells Bron to leave Trick out of it. Bron asks Hayes where was Trick on Saturday. Was he waiting for you in Gorilla after you lost? You had to find him.
– We take a look at what happened between Gigi Dolin and Blair Davenport on the Kickoff Show because their match is next.

– We are back and Ilja is presented the title belt with the new side plates. Baron Corbin shows up and Ilja says this is a champoins moment. Baron says he is the only person besides Melo to beat him. Baron mentions that he beat Bron Breakker at No Mercy so no one stands in his way for the title. Ilja says he disagrees. Baron tells Ilja to go get the photos taken with the title while you still have it.
Blair Davenport vs. Gigi Dolin
Gigi attacks Blair from behind and they fight into the smoke at ringside. Gigi sends Blair into the ringside barrier a few times. They get back into the ring and the match is started.
Gigi puts Blair in the ropes and she stretches Blair. Gigi with a drop kick to the back and then a drop kick against the ropes for a near fall. Gigi with an Irish whip but she misses a splash. Gigi catapults Blair to the turnbuckles and Blair lands on the turnbuckles. Blair with a kick and a double stomp to the back for a near fall. Blair with a knee to the back followed by a kick. Gigi with a head butt to the midsection but Blair with an arm wringer and a double stomp to the back for a near fall. Blair with a back heel kick followed by a snap mare. Blair misses an elbow drop but Gigi wtih a forearm. They exchange forearms. Blair with a kick and Gig blocks a kick and hits a dragon screw.
Gigi clotheslines Blair over the top rope to the floor. Blair sends Gigi into the announce table. Blair gets a chair and she misses Gigi when Gigi moves. Gigi with a round kick and they return to the ring. Gigi with a forearm and knee to the head. Gigi with clotheslines and an STO. Gigi with a round kick to the head for a near fall. Gigi gets the chair and brings it into the ring. Gigi sets to hit Blair with it but the referee stops her. Blair with a forearm and she wants to use the chair but the referee stops her. GIgi with a rollup for the three count.
Winner: Gigi Dolin
After the match, Blair grabs the referee and tells Gigi it isn’t over.
– Kiana James is with McKenzie and she is asked why did she get involved in the triple threat match. Kiana says Roxanne has been the golden child of NXT since she walked in the door. She wasn’t going to let Roxanne get another title match. Kiana says she is in the Breakout tournament. She was a tag team champion, just like Roxanne. She wants everyone to know that she is better than Roxanne. Kiana says she will be facing Roxanne in two weeks if Roxanne can get past her opponent next week. Kiana says Roxanne will face Asuka next week.

Kelani Jordan vs. Izzi Dame in a First Round Match in the 2023 Breakout Tournament
The eight participants in the Breakout Tournament make their way into the aisle to get an official introduction.
They lock up and Izzi with a wrist lock. Izzi works on the arm and Jordan goes to the turnbuckles for a springboard escape and reversal. Jordan with a wrist lock and Izzi with a back elbow and shoulder tackle. Izzi catches Jordan on a leap frog but Jordan goes for a sunset flip. Izzi blocks a Tiger Feint arm drag and sends Jordan into the ropes. Izzi with a splash for a near fall. Izzi slams Jordan’s head into the mat. Jordan goes for a cross body but Izzi catches Jordan and gives her a salm. Izzi with a splash. Izzi with an Irish whip and back breaker. Izzi stomps on the rope to drive it into Jordan’s throat. Izzi with an arm bar and chin bar. Izzi with a rear chin lock.
Jordan with elbows and Izzi with a knee to the midsection. Izzi gets Jordan on her shoulder for a back breaker. Jordan powers out of the hold and gets a near fall with a sunset flip. Izzi misses a kick and hits the ropes. Jordan with a drop toe hold and a Tiger Feint arm drag and drop kick. Jordan with another drop kick. Jordan goes up top and hits a cross body for a near fall. Jordan goes for a Playmaker but Izzi with a kick for a near fall. Izzi with an Irish whip. Jordan avoids a splash in the corner. Jordan with a kick and a split legged moonsault for the three count.
Winner: Kelani Jordan (advances to face winner of Arianna Grace versus Jakara Jackson)
– We take a look at some social media banter involving Jacy Jayne, Thea Hail, Elektra Lopez, and Lola Vice.
– Duke Hudson and Andre Chase walk in the back and they see Jacy Jayne and the New Thea Hail. Andre asks Thea if they can support her at ringside. Jacy asks if they are going to be chaperones. Thea says she doesn’t think it is necessary. Jacy says it would work since they would be supporting both of them at ringside.
We go to commercial.
Lola Vice and Elektra Lopez vs. Jacy Jayne and Thea Hail
Thea with a head lock and a side head lock take down on Lopez. Lopez blocks an arm drag and Lopez with a slam. Lopez with forearms and an elbow drop for a near fall. Vice tags in and kicks Thea. Vice with knees and a scissors kick for a near fall. Lola with a reverse chin lock. Thea blocks a kick and takes Lola to the mat. Lola kicks Thea to keep her from making the tag. Lola punches Jacy and the referee holds Jacy back. Lola with an Irish whip and punches in the corner. Lola with an Irish wihp but she misses a splash. Lola stops Thea again and Thea kicks Lola and makes the tag to Jacy. Jacy with a clothesline to Lola and a forearm to Lopez. Jacy with a forearm and enzuigiri. Jacy with a running hip into the corner and a running neck breaker for a near fall.
Jacy gets Lola on her shoulders but Lola escapes. Lola with a clothesline and Lopez tags in. Lopez with an Irish whip and she misses a shoulder in the corner. Jacy with a rolling elbow and Thea wants the tag. Thea tags in and she applies the kimura and Lopez taps out.
Winners: Thea Hail and Jacy Jayne
– We go to Carmelo Hayes in the Most Dangerous Parking Lot. He is asked if he is going to take Bron’s advice. Hayes says asked for a match against Bron Breakker. Hayes says he got some advice from John Cena and Hayes says John Cena will have his back and be in his corner.
We go to commercial.
– Cody Rhodes will be at the show next week to make a “major announcement.”
Dominik Mysterio vs. Trick Williams for the NXT North American Championship
Dom kicks Trick in the back and he connects with a punch. Trick with a drop kick but Dom escapes a slam attempt. Trick with a pop up uppercut and Dom goes to the floor. Trick goes after Dom on the floor but Dom gets back into the ring and back to the floor. Dom punches Trick and he tries to send Trick into the announce table. Trick blocks it and he sends Dom into the announce table and follows with a punch. Trick sends Dom back into the ring and he punches Dom. Trick with a reverse chin lock. Dom with elbows but Trick holds on to the side head lock and takes Dom back to the mat.
Damian Priest and Finn Balor show up as Dom hits a belly-to-back suplex on Trick. Dom punches Trick. Dom with a corkscrew back elbow for a near fall. Dom with a reverse chin lock. Trick with elbows and Dom with a knee. Dom with a hard Irish whip or two. Dom with a slingshot senton for a near fall. Dom chokes Trick in the ropes. Rhea has some words for Trick while Dom hits boots to the back. Dom with two suplexes but Trick blocks the third amigo and Trick hits a neck breaker. Trick with forearms and punches to Dom. Trick with an uppercut and a jumping leg lariat. Trick with a flapjack. Dom with a super kick and a cross body but Trick catches Dom and slams him. Trick with boots to Dom. Trick with a uranage and he gets a near fall.
Rhea pushes her title belt into the ring and gets on the apron. Dom with a DDT onto the belt and he gets a near fall. Trick with an inside cradle for a near fall. Dom with punches and a knee to the midsection and kicks. Dom with a catapult that sends Trick into the ropes. Dom with a 619 and then Dom goes up top for the frog splash and Trick gets his knees up. Trick with a jumping knee. JD McDonagh tries to interfere.but Trick stops him. Finn hits Trick with his title belt while the referee takes the briefcase from Dom.
Dom with a frog splash for the three count.
Winner: Dominik Mysterio (new champion)
Paul Heyman says next week on NXT, Carmelo Hayes will renew his rivalry with Bron Breakker. This is the same Carmelo Hayes who is getting advice from the second greatest of all time, John Cena. The same John Cena getting involved with Bloodline business. The Greatest of All Time, Roman Reigns will allow Paul Heyman to provide advice to Bron Breakker in Bron Breakker’s corner.
