
Erik of the Viking Raiders Out Indefinitely – WWE commentator Wade Barrett’s announcement on Monday’s WWE Raw revealed concerning news for fans of The Viking Raiders. Erik of The Viking Raiders is currently sidelined and will be out of action “for the foreseeable future.”
Erik’s absence from in-ring competition dates back to the September 14 episode of WWE Main Event, taped on September 11. He and his tag team partner, Ivar, were scheduled to compete against The New Day (Kofi Kingston & Xavier Woods) on the September 18 episode of WWE Raw, but Erik was not cleared to wrestle.
Ivar has continued to wrestle on WWE Raw in Erik’s absence, with notable matches against Woods and Kingston. A Viking Rules match between Ivar and Kingston is set for the October 9 episode of WWE Raw.
Valhalla, the team’s War Horse mascot, was also notably absent from Monday’s WWE Raw.
Erik’s health status and the reason for his absence have not been disclosed, but fans will undoubtedly be eager for updates regarding his return to action. WrestlingAttitude will provide further information as it becomes available.
