The Judgment Day Wins Tag Team Golds

The Judgment Day Wins Tag Team Golds – At WWE Payback event, The Judgment Day’s Finn Balor and Damian Priest secured victory in a WWE Tag Team Championship match against Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens. The match took place under the unique stipulation of a “Steel City Street Fight” to pay tribute to the event’s location in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

The contest was filled with intense action, featuring a plethora of weapons and noteworthy interference. Dominik Mysterio and Rhea Ripley played significant roles in helping The Judgment Day claim the tag team titles, along with assistance from JD McDonagh.

The match saw the participants engage in a brutal battle both inside and outside the ring. Owens and Zayn donned Pittsburgh Penguins jerseys and wielded hockey sticks as they fought amidst a setup of four chairs in the center of the ring. Damian Priest used one of the hockey sticks to deliver a punishing slam to Sami Zayn onto the chairs, but Zayn resiliently kicked out.

The chaotic contest even spilled into the crowd, reaching the Payback pre-show set. Owens executed a Swanton Bomb from the top of a stairwell, sending Dominik Mysterio through a table. Back in the ring, JD McDonagh intervened to save Damian Priest from a pinning predicament, but Owens retaliated by slamming McDonagh into the announce table. Rhea Ripley then joined the fray, spearing Kevin Owens through the barricade.

As the match neared its conclusion, it seemed as if Sami Zayn had the victory in his grasp to retain the tag team titles. However, Dominik Mysterio made a final appearance, using Damian Priest’s Money in the Bank briefcase to disrupt the pin. With the champion incapacitated, Finn Balor capitalized on the opportunity and secured the pinfall victory over Sami Zayn, resulting in The Judgment Day becoming the new WWE Tag Team Champions.
